It felt as though time stopped and it was only the two of us. Like my world shifted and the boy below me was all I wanted. All I needed, he would protect me, he would love me and he would be anything I wanted and needed. Jared fucking Cameron lay underneath me at this very moment. I shook with rage and got off him in a second. After a moment of pure shock he got up and put his hands out in front of him. As if he were putting them up in surrender with a sad and happy look in his eyes.

"I'm not going to hurt you I want and need to help you" he said

Oddly his voice soothed me, it calmed me and made me feel safe suddenly. I felt the urge to step forward and let him help me. I shook my head and growled as three other people came outside. Sam, Embry and Paul all came out of the hospitals doors. Staring from me to Jared then back at me and then Jared once more. I felt rage and suddenly before their eyes and my own. My body transformed into anything but human. I growled as I shook out my fur then I looked at Jared once more. And it was as though time stopped again and flashes of our future played in my mind.

Walking on the beach laughing and holding hands. Jumping from the cliff with the others around us. Sitting at the bonfires where the elders always told stories. Then it flashed to us in a field then a wedding and some kids. Then it ended and I stumbled to the side. I looked down and freaked I was a wolf, the legends were true and I was a fucking shapeshifter. I began to panic and when someone stepped closer I growled. My fur was black and gray with specks of brown throughout it. My eyes were a hazel and I was huge, taller in this form then in human form. I stood as tall as six foot which matched the boys height. I didn't look up but directly into Jared's eyes this time.

"It's okay" Sam said in my head

"It's all true, the the legends are fucking true" I said

"Welcome to the pack sis" Embry smiled

"This is some sick joke, some stupid nightmare that isn't real, I....I just need to wake up" I said pacing back and forth

"Unfortunately little wolf it's not" Jared said

I growled at the nickname and he smirked while putting his hands up in surrender.

"Follow us to Emily's place" Sam said

We all then darted off into the forest and I found out what happened between me and Jared. We both imprinted on one another meaning soulmates in a way. We would do anything be anything the other needed. A friend, brother, lover but always a protector. When we got there Emily young aka Sam's fiancé no Leah's cousin. She walked out of the house with a wide smile on her face and a scar. A scar that looked exactly like the one I had on my body.
