I wake up to light shining bright through my window. Yes-today's finally Magcon! I pull out my phone and check my notifications. I laugh as I read my text from Carter.

Carter: wear white because... White is rad!! :)

Lexie: LOL k.

Now that I know what to wear, I get out of bed and go to my closet. I pull out a white shirt that says'Mr. Carter' in red- I know Carter will laugh at that. Next, I slip on a pair of dark skinny jeans and to top that, I put a red beanie that says 'Matt Espinosa' in white.

I run to my bathroom and pull out my curling iron and curl my hair. After that, I quickly put on some mascara and black eyeliner. As I look in the mirror I smile-looks good!

Then I quickly pull on my black uggs and run downstairs and see Meg sitting on the couch watching television in her pajamas. "Um, you better change. We are leaving soon."

She looks at me confusingly. "Where? Magcon?"

I roll my eyes. "No dip, you have to go see your boyfriend."

"He's not my boyfriend!" Meg argues while running upstairs. I laugh and then walk into the kitchen. Lox, Lauren, and Shea are eating cereal.

I grab a bag of name brand Lucky Charms, and poor them into a bowl. "Goooooood morning," I say while eating a spoon full of cereal.

"You too. And by the way, we're leaving in ten minutes. Nash said he'll tell the limo to pick us up after picking them up," Shea explains and I nod.

"What else did Nash say?" I ask while wiggling my eyebrows. She giggles and then answers.

"That's mostly all. And then he also said the after party is an hour after the Magcon event, but I already knew that."

A few moments later, Meg was back downstairs wearing a blue shirt and a white skirt with a white bow in her hair. "Cute! Is everyone ready to leave?" I ask and everyone.

"Thanks, and yes, we're all ready," Meg answers. We run into the front yard and see that the limo is out there.

When we enter the limo, everyone was wearing white. Oh Carter... Also Jacob Whitesides was there. "Hey, I didn't think you were coming!" I say.

He laughs and then responds. "Yeah, I didn't think I would make it but I caught a plane last night and it landed this morning."

When we arrive at the place Magcon was being held. It was already packed and it only started five minutes ago! But as usual, VIP was first.

I run to my spot and start signing posters, shirts, and all that jazz. I also take tons of pictures. Everything is going perfect! Not one thing has gone wrong yet- oh no... I need to start knocking on wood.

Over by were Shawn was signing, Nate stood there talking to him. What if he tells Shawn about our encounter at the mall? Hold on, no dip he's going to. He told me he wanted to make my life miserable so of course he will...

I continue to take pictures with a fake smile plastered on my face, until I get a tap on my shoulder.

"Lexie, can you to take a break? I need to talk to you," Shawn says quietly. CRAP, he only calls me Lexie when he's mad. Normally he calls me Lex.

"Um, what, no, I'm okay," I nervously say and then he narrows his eyes.

"Okay, then can you help me carry some shirts to the stage to throw out to the crowd?" He asks once again, with an inpatient ring to his voice. I sigh, knowing I have no choice. I follow him backstage and he starts yelling.

"Why didn't you tell me about Nate!?" He yells and I stare at the floor, avoiding eye contact.

"Why does it matter? I'm fine and I never got hurt," I mumble.

"Look, I don't want anything to happen to you. Your my best friend and I just don't know what would happen if something happened to you.." He whispers.

"Nothing will! I can stand up for my self, and I don't need anyone to fix my problems," I reply angrily.

"But-"

"I'm going to go back to the signing-I can't keep everyone waiting all day," I tell him before turning on my heel and walking away. Gosh, we aren't even dating and he's being too protective.

I walk back over to my table and the next fan frowns at me. "You know Lexie, your just pushing away the people who care most about you. That's not going to fix anything," she explains and I think. Have I really been doing that? I guess I have pushed Shawn away...

"I have haven't I," I mumble and she nods.

"But you still have time to fix it ya know. Just apologize," she responds and I smile.

"Thank you so much!" I say while giving her a hug. I take a quick picture with her and before leaving, she stops.

"Go," she smiles while giving me a playful push towards Shawn. I rush over there and start to apologize.

"Look, I'm sorry. I guess I just wasn't thinking," I apologize and all Shawn does is nod. I can tell he's still mad though. UGH.

I run back to my VIP stand and finish taking photos until the line is empty. I run back stage and grab a Root Beer out of the cooler.

"Hey Lex, you okay?" Nash asks while sitting down on the floor next to me.

"I guess.. I mean Shawn's mad at me and it's over something dumb," I sigh.

"What happened?" He asks and then I explain what happened at the mall.

"Would you be mad?" I finally ask and he thinks for a minute.

"Well, honestly, yes. I mean right now I'm kinda hurt you never told me," he responds.

"But.. Shawn's still mad at me and I apologized. What do I do now?" I question him and he sighs.

"I donno. He should get over it soon but who knows. And anyways, he can't stay mad at you for long," he adds and I frown.

"I hope so... But anyways, I think we should go on stage. Magcon's starting now," I suggest and he nods. We quickly get up and walk onto the stage after everyone else and smile.

I grab a mic and look into the audience. "Yo guys! So first, who wants a little competition?" I ask and the audience starts cheering. "Okay, we need four fans!"

Cameron quickly picks four girls and they run onto stage. "Okay, this time we are going to have a tug-a-war! In the middle of the two teams, there will be whipped cream so the team that fails will slide into the whip cream!" Cameron explains.

I laugh as he spreads a layer of whip cream on the floor and grabs a rope. I scurry to one side of the rope and get ready to pull the rope. I was on Taylor, Lauren, Cameron, Jacob, two fans, and Aaron's team.

"Ready, set, go!" Cameron yells and he grabs the rope and starts pulling. I grip the rope and pull with all my might; our team has to win this!

"C'mon!" I yell while pulling harder. The other team is almost to the line.

As soon as they were getting ready to pass the line, Aaron trips and falls backwards. Sense he was in the back of the line, it didn't really affect anyone, except for the fact that one less person was holding onto the rope.

But losing that one person made a huge difference; we all trip forwards and land in the whip cream.

"HAHA!" The other team laughs as me and my team try to take off the whip cream.

I see Shawn laughing and an idea pops into my head. "Aw, does Shawnie want a hug?" I yell while giving him a giant hug, causing him to have whip cream all over him.

"Nooooo," he moans while attempting to rub off the whip scream. I giggle and then run over to Nash and hug him and he has the same reaction.

I laugh and then grab a towel. After everyone finishes cleaning the cream off of them selves, we go back to doing Magcon activities.

It all went by pretty quickly, and then the end neared. The only thing left was for Jacob and Shawn to sing.

"This is dedicated to a special girl," Shawn says while winking to a girl into the audience and she almost faints.

"Oh no he didn't," I hear Nash mumble but I ignore it. I mean, me and Shawn aren't even dating so.. It doesn't even matter.

Of course it does though; it honestly broke my heart and no matter what, I wouldn't be able to persuade myself that it doesn't matter. Shawn starts singing Hey There Delilah by the Plain White Tees.

I look over and see that Jacob's looking at me. I guess he got the memo that I like Shawn because he mouths 'I'm sorry' and I give a weak smile and shrug.

After Shawn finishes the song, Jacob runs onto the stage to perform. "This is also dedicated to a very special girl," he says while winking at me. I grin and sway to his talented voice sing Beautiful by Christina Aguilera. He's too sweet!

When he finishes his song, I run up and give him a friendly hug. I don't like like him, but he's a great friend. "Thank you," I whisper in his ear and he just nods.

"Thank you for being an amazing audience, Cali! WE LOVE YOU!" I yell before running off stage. Well that Magcon event wasn't too bad. The only bad part was the whole Nate and Shawn thing...

"Are you okay?" Cameron asks me as soon as we're back stage.

"Yeah," I lie, and I know he can tell I'm lying.

"I don't know why he did that... Maybe he was just trying to be nice to the fan!" He suggests and I think about it. Maybe that's why. That's probably it! I'm just making a fuss about nothing!

"Your right!" I finally say while walking outside.

"Hey Shawn-" I start to say while running up to him but he swerves. He just swerved to avoid me. Oh, did he really just go there?

I look back and see that Cameron's jaw dropped. Looks like I'm not the only who thinks that is actually quite harsh.

I quickly get into the limo and take a seat between Nash and Cameron. I rest my head on Nash's shoulder while everyone talks.

"So are you ready for the after party?" Nash asks and I shrug.

"I guess so. I have a pretty outfit and it sounds fun," I reply.

"The after parties are always a blast," Cameron adds.

As soon as the limo reaches my house, Lauren, Lox, Meg, Shea, and I get out and run into the house. I run upstairs and slide on my purple dress. After pulling the belt on, I sprint into my bathroom and take off my make up from earlier. I quickly apply my silver eye liner, eye shadow, and black mascara before pulling on my silver high heels.

As I walk down the stairs, I nearly break my neck while tripping. These heels are hard to walk in...

Lox, Lauren, Shea, and Meg were all waiting in the living room already dressed. Lox was wearing a bright blue flowy dress that made her red hair pop. She too was wearing heels, except they were white. Lauren's wearing a dress identical to mine, except for the fact that her's is light pink. She has on brown heels and light brown eye shadow. Shea's wearing a neon pink dress that's down to her ankles. She also has tons of bracelets on her arms.

"Oh my gosh, you look so grown up!" I screech at Meg as I walk up to her. She's wearing a light blue dress with white heels and a white belt around her waist.

Meg giggles while twirling and almost topples down because of her heels. That is why we are sisters.

"Is it time to leave?" I ask and Lauren checks her phone.

"Yeah, Taylor just texted that the limo's waiting in the driveway,"she explains while walking carefully to the front door. I quickly lock the door behind us and then enter into the limo.

I sit down next to Shawn but he quickly switches seats. My heart drops and i force myself to keep my mouth closed.

"What is up with him?" I ask Nash and he thinks.

"Honestly, I have no idea.. But he needs to quiet acting like such a freakin' jerk," he says angrily. Cameron quickly takes the spot where Shawn was, just a few seconds ago.

"You look amazing," he says and I quickly smile.

"Thanks. You too..." I say and trail off. "Do you knows why Shawn's being like that?"

"No. Maybe he thinks you like one of us or one of us likes you. Other than that, I don't have an idea," he explains and I frown.

"What? I don't, I mean you all are like family to me! And maybe I should talk to him... You know what, I did nothing. I'm just going to wait until he confronts me and apologizes," I angrily state and Nash nods.

"That might work or maybe you should just actually talk to him-it would be faster that way. Who knows when he'll quit being mad," he says and I shrug.

When we arrive at the after party, I quickly climb out of the limo. The sun was just starting to set and it was beautiful. Everyone, including myself, walks into the amazing building.

There were flowers, food, a dance floor, a stage, and lots of other things. Everyone had moved around and I didn't really know anyone here except for the guys. I walk over to the punch table and awkwardly stand there drinking my punch.

"Hey, isn't this party awesome?" Jacob asks while standing by me.

"Yeah, it's pretty cool. Everything's gorgeous and they have a pretty sick DJ," I respond.

"Yeah. Lox is over there talking to him- I think she wants to take over and play a few songs," he laughs. I giggle as I watch her try to persuade the guy.

"So," he says breaking the silence,"I take it that you like Shawn." I slowly nod and then he continues. "At Cam's house Nash was talking to him."

I drop my head into my hands. "Ugh, what did he say?" I moan while lifting my head up.

"He told him that he needs to stop treating you like that, and I agree. Someone like you deserves the best, and sense he likes you, he better start acting like the best," he says angrily and I blush.

"He's mad because I didn't tell him about Nate.. But who knew someone could hold a grudge that long?" I say and Jacob looks at me confusingly.

"Who's Nate?" he asks and then I explain everything to him. "Oh.. I understand why he's mad, but he shouldn't act like a jerk to you."

"I guess.. But now I'm mad at myself. I should have just told him, but you know how protective he is. He would have went and got in a fight with Nate," I exclaim and he nods.

"Yeah.. Maybe you should just go and apologize," he suggests.

"I already did! But he didn't really even listen..." I trail off.

"Go and apologize again and make him listen," he commands.

"I'll try," I smile while walking towards the table Shawn was at.

"Shawn-" I start to say but something made me stop. He was talking to a girl. Wait no, flirting with a girl.

I quickly cover my mouth so I wouldn't scream. The only thing left in my mind to do was run. Maybe the limo hasn't left yet..

I sprint outside and come to a halt when I see that the limo is gone. Fine, I guess I'll just walk home-it's far away from here but.. It was night now and it was pouring rain but... Whatever...

I start sprinting down the road, but sense I was wearing my heels I trip and fall into a bunch of mud. I stand up and try to run again, but the heels held me back.

"I DONT EVEN CARE!" I cry out while chucking my heels out into the street and then I start running again. Well more like limping. When I fell because of my heels, I must have messed up my ankle.

As a car goes by, they drive in a puddle and it splashes me, completely soaking me in muddy water. My hair now wasn't curly, it was pin straight because of the weight of the rain and mud attached to my hair.

Iv been limping for at least thirty minutes now, and I'm still in the middle of no where. I slowly stop running and start crying. I sit down on the side of the abandoned street and put my head in my hands. Oh, what did I get myself into? I should have told Nash or Cameron to call the limo...

I start coughing and I slowly rub my eyes, which by now are covered with smeared make up. I quickly pull out my phone and dial the person I know won't tell everyone what happened and make everything into even more drama.

"C-Carter?" I mumble into my phone.

"Lexie! Oh my gosh, where are you? Everyone's freaking out and-"

"Can you call someone to pick me up?" I cry out.

"Of course, where are you?" He asks and I tell him where I am.

"Just please don't bring everyone.. I'm not up for any more drama," I whisper.

"Of course, I'll be there in five minutes," he exclaims into the phone before hanging up.

After what seemed like an eternity, the limo pulled up and Carter came sprinting out. "Gosh, Lex, are you okay?" He asks while helping me up. I try to walk towards the limo but I fall because of my ankle. He quickly picks me up bridal style and places me in the backseat of the limo.

"Are you okay?" He asks again. I cough and then nod. "Why did you leave?"

I start explaining him why but I start bawling. He quickly pulls me into a hug and I cry into his chest. "Shh, it's okay... You can tell me later..."

When we arrive at my house, Carter picks me up bridal style again and then knocks on my door.

"Hello Carter-" my mom starts to say but then she notices me. "Oh my gosh, Lexie, are you okay!"

Knowing I didn't really want to talk, Carter starts talking for me. "She decided to walk home from the after party, and she hurt he ankle. That's all I know, but when she wants to, she'll explain to us everything."

"Okay, now hurry up and get inside! The wind is blowing the rain inside," my mother argues while quickly scurrying us inside.

Carter carefully lays me down on the couch and I sit up. "I think I'm going to go to my room and change," I quietly say while limping up the stairs. When I reach my room, I quickly look at myself in my mirror- I look like a mess. My dress has mud stains and rips all over it, and my make up doesn't look any better. My make up is running down my face so I look like a raccoon.

I quickly change into my pajamas and rush into my bathroom to take off my makeup. After that, I run a brush through my tangled, frizzy hair.

As I limp downstairs, my mom's waiting at the bottom. "Sweetie, hurry up and get into the kitchen. We need to bandage your ankle."

"Okay, just give me a second," I agree while taking my time so I don't trip and injure myself more than I already am.

When I enter the kitchen, I quickly sit on a chair. "Okay, now work your magic and fix my foot," I laugh and my mom chuckles.

"I'll try my best."

After lots of screaming and pain, my foot was finally wrapped up in a bandage.

"It doesn't look like it's broken, but just try to keep it easy the next few hours," Mom explains.

I nod and then limp over to the couch where Carter's at. "Did you tell the guys I'm okay?"

"Yeah, I just told them to wait a while before coming over-I know how you need your space," he says and I laugh.

"True. Wanna watch some Netflix?" I offer and he agrees.

We grab a bunch of blankets and goodies before deciding on what to watch. "CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN!" I scream and Carter laughs but agrees. I start to doze off, but then the doorbell rings.

"I'll get it!" My mom shouts from the kitchen and runs to the door, causing me to giggle. As soon as the door opens, everyone walks in. And by everyone, I mean everyone in Magcon, which is a lot of people.

"Hey," I say while grinning to see all of my best friends.

"Spill it," Lox demands and I laugh and start to explain everything. When the part about Shawn came up, I saw Nash elbow Shawn in the ribs.

After I finish telling the story, everyone hangs out and watches the rest of Cheaper By The Dozen with us. As the movie finishes, Cameron stands up.

"Hey Lex, I think that we're going to all leave now. We all understand that your tired," he says.

"Okay, bye," I quickly say before everyone leaves. Well, everyone except for one person.

I quickly shut my eyes and act like I'm asleep. "Lex, I know your not asleep, and I really need to talk to you," Shawn says while sitting down next to me. I continue to act like it was sleeping and he sighs.

"Just please listen... this is important. I guess I'll have to start at the beginning of today. Yes, of course I was mad when Nate told me what happened. I mean why wouldn't I be? But I forgave you as soon as you apologized. I just didn't respond because... I couldn't. Nate told me that if I talked to you then bad things would happen... I didn't know what that means, but I didn't want you to get hurt. So to play it safe, I took his advice. Of course it broke my heart though. Not being able to talk to my best friend and to see you in so much pain... It made me in pain. And you know how you thought I was 'flirting' with that girl? I wasn't. I winked at the fan in the audience to make her smile, it wasn't a flirting wink. And at the after party, I was explaining my plan to the girl... I was going to sing you a song on stage and ask you out. But you weren't there... I made a fool out of myself, but I didnt care- I just wanted to know if you were okay. And honestly, I'm not sure if you know this but I kind of like you more than a best friend... Whenever your around, I get this weird feeling in my stomach. Whenever someone says your name, the same thing happens. You may not know it, but you are the prettiest girl iv ever seen, and by far the smartest. Your laugh cheers me up right away, and your voice does the same. Not being able to see you the last month had practically killed me. How can you live with a broken heart? It's nearly impossible... And I just want to let you know, you haven't only changed my life, you've changed my world. When I'm with you, the grass is greener, the sky is bluer, and everything's perfect. And Lexie Madison..." He says before pausing,

"I'm in love with you."

I am sooooo sorry for not updating for a whole week now! But I really hope that this drama-filled-long-chapter was worth the wait! Oooh, who likes the cliff hanger???!!!
