INTELLIGENT
Marcus is a very intelligent guy. Sure, he may be a grade A jerk, he can come off as cold and rude to people he's just met or doesn't know, it doesn't exactly matter who you are really, he'll find something to bring it, it could be the tiniest thing in the world and he'll still take up a personal grudge with it! There's just no pleasing this boy! He's read quite the few books in his time, he knows things, he picks up on a lot really, and the classroom is practically his habitat at this point, true, he would never admit to being a 'nerd', but he is. He is the king of the nerds. He's strategic too, his mind workings like a chess board, planning out everybody's moves and finding the best way to secure his king. He isn't usually Impulsive, he's a planner, he likes planning stuff out, he's as calculating as its gets. The only time when he gets remotely impulsive is when he's really mad.

GRUMPY
Marcus is moody. So damn moody! He's never happy! Nothing can please him! His lips were fetched into a forever frown and there's nothing that can make them quirk up into a smile to anyone's knowledge. But maybe one day he will find joy. But that surely isn't coming any time soon. He's always grumpy, he's an entire well of ever flowing grudges, he isn't at all trusting with people either. If he doesn't know you too well, then you are immediately suspicious. People need to earn his trust, and it can be quite a difficult task when it comes to his trust.

ARROGANT
Marcus is so damn arrogant! But hell always deny this! His pride will never allow him to admit to a flaw that is so obvious when it comes to his personality. He doesn't like admiring when he's wrong, he'd rather die honestly! He's hardly ever wrong in his opinion, he's factual and smart! No human errors here! Of course he's stubborn, stubborn to any ideas that aren't his own. He wants to do things his way, his way is the best way. At times he can be down right rude, he doesn't actually mean to be, he just has an attitude he can't seem to shake off. He can be rude to people without actually meaning it, but when he does mean it, especially towards people he doesn't like, man are you in for a threat! He can come off as a big know it all, it can get real annoying at times. But sometimes... in those rare occasions he can put aside his pride in the most dire of situations. Sometimes.

LOYAL
Look, Marcus isn't some sunshine happy boy, that much is clear. But he isn't a huge jerkward. He somehow has friends, actually the more you spend time around him, and get to know him, well the more you understand why he has friends. But speaking about his friends, he would die for them! He's incredibly loyal, once your his friend, your his friend till death. He is truly a steadfast friend. Even if it doesn't seem like he cares, he cares way more than he should. Not only is he protective, he's a bit too protective. He can get super over protective over his friends and family, he just doesn't want them to get hurt! He's not doubting their abilities or calling them weak, he just worries, a lot more than he likes to admit. He has a habit of over thinking, and when the possibility of losing his love ones come into play, well, that doesn't suit well with him. Marcus also has a tendency of getting jealous... he knows it's an ugly emotion! But he's always scared that people will find someone better than him. But again, he's too prideful to admit to the emotion.

AWKWARD
Under all that tough exterior is actually a really, really really awkward boy who cannot function for his life! He likes to act like he has everything under control, but Marcus is always in panic mode, again he's just a moody little bean who doesn't like to admit that he's the most awkward human being on planet Earth. What's normal human interaction? Never heard of her. He can have normal conversions sure, but he always ends up feeling awkward or making it awkward in one way or another. Get close enough and and behold an easily flustered teenage boy! Seriously just say his eyes are pretty and he'll die. Want him to crumble? Just flirt with constantly.

WEIRDLY EMPATHIC
Look, Marcus may be an ass but he is nice in his own special way. Really he is, if he can just get over his ego and stop trying to be the best of the best, he can be a really fun enjoyable guy to hang out with. He can be supportive and nice, even helpful! He's an entire different person around his friend, yet he still maintains that classic Marcus fire. Marcus is empathic, he actually hates seeing people upset, even if he has some sort of grudge with the person, he will tone down his attitude and try and comfort them. He's softer than he seems, much more gentle and caring, he just has a weird way of expressing it.
