Possible Changes

Now, before anyone goes bonkers about this getting updated, it's just a part to inform you of a possible set of changes to this book. "The Daxam Four" actually isn't anywhere near complete, I literally just finished up with Savitar, and I'm back to The Unmatched Records, so it might not be until the end of the year that this gets updated.

But that aside, I don't want to make all of my books basically the same, which includes pairings. Some (my precious Kariver) will remain the same, and it's basically Kariver that will. This one I can change to include canonical pairings, like Thea still loving Roy, Winn still being with Lyra, Sanvers getting happily ever after, Namaya happening. And then, of course, I can change a canon pairing.

And I know I'm going to get people yelling at me for this, but this is what I have in mind: WhiteFlash.

Yes, yes, I know, it'll never happen, not a chance in hell, yadda yadda yadda, but just hear me out: the same case can be made for Winn/Thea and Harry/Lena, but everyone liked the idea of those characters meeting in a fanfiction and figuring out how a relationship could work. None of those characters have ever interacted in canon, which diminishes their chances so much more.

Barry and Sara, on the other hand, have teamed up before. Granted, they've only met once before prior to this book (looking at you, Dominators), but they still have a lot in common.

They both lead their own teams, which puts a burden on their shoulders they can find common ground in. They also both have . . . ahem . . . experience in time traveling, and know the risks interfering with the timeline can have.

And the big thing they have in common that I think could be how they connect: thinking of rewriting time to save a family member.

Eobard Thawne killed Barry's mother, then Zoom killed his father, and now Barry has seen Savitar kill Iris in the future. Similarly, Damien Darhk killed Sara's sister. Sara has wanted to go back to help Team Arrow defeat Darhk so that wouldn't happen, then planned to find Darhk in the past and kill him before he ever became a problem in the first place. Similarly, Barry wants to find a way to save Iris from being killed.

The only difference between them is Sara, despite still wanting to murder Darhk, values preserving the timeline. Barry went back in time and created Flashpoint to save his mother, and when he realized what he did was wrong, went back to try and fix time, only for things to change.

Yes, Sara chewed Barry out for Flashpoint, but Sara now has the chance to bring Laurel back once they get to the Spear of Destiny. Barry could help her decide what to do. And also, in the Legion of Doom, they are both facing villains who have hurt them: Eobard Thawne for killing Nora and being Barry's main villain his first year as the Flash; Damien Darhk for killing Laurel; and Malcolm Merlyn for concocting the plan that involved Sara dying at the beginning of the third season of Arrow (there's also Snart, but he hasn't joined by this point). They would have a lot to talk about with that line-up.

So, there you go. That's my argument for possibly including WhiteFlash in this instead of having Agent Canary and WestAllen. I think it's a challenge I would love to take on, and it would include diversity in two stories that could be similar.

Here's what would change if I go with WhiteFlash:

 - WhiteFlash and Sanvers instead of Agent Canary and WestAllen

 - Alex (and possibly J'onn) staying on Earth-38 to look after the D.E.O. J'onn could still go to Earth-1 since he is an alien, and therefore a target of Cadmus. Of course, Alex could go to Earth-1 and J'onn could stay on Earth-38, but again, I'd like a bit more diversity, and if Alex goes to Earth-1 in this book, it's similar to Daxam Four

I leave it up to you, all. I would love to give this pairing a chance if you guys agree to. Please let me know:

WhiteFlash and Sanvers

Agent Canary and WestAllen

Thank you all so much!
