Final Pairings + Final Question

OK, this will probably be the last part I write before I get to the actual story. But the pairing poll swung in one direction, so I'm posting the final pairings and one question I would like to be answered ahead of time.

So, they're probably obvious, but here you guys go!

1. Kariver/SuperArrow ~ Oliver Queen/Kara Danvers

I've got another Kariver fic. You're all stunned speechless, aren't you?

In all honesty, in "The Unmatched Records," while "Won't Let You Down" was sometimes a pain to write (especially when it could take up to a month for inspiration to smack me in the face), it was one of my favorites to write because it was an original . . . and I loved writing overprotective Ollie of Kara as he helped her fight back against an organization that has wanted her head so badly.

Seriously, though, I don't think I've ever shipped a pairing so hard before, and I'm glad I'm not the only one who ships them on this site. Thank you all for supporting me through these books, I keep writing because of all of you.

2. Sarry/WhiteFlash ~ Barry Allen/Sara Lance

So if I haven't told any of you how I thought of this pairing, it went like this - I suggested it on a whim for a pairing for Barry other than Iris for AllyBPBR to use for a small series in her Kariver one-shots book. Next thing I know, I can't get these two out of my head.

They both have . . . some involvement in the timeline, and both have lost family members, Nora and Henry Allen and Laurel Lance in particular. Both have considered going back in time to save them, which Barry did, resulting in Flashpoint. When this book takes place, it will involve the Spear of Destiny, which Sara considered using to bring Laurel back to life. And for this story's sake, Barry and Iris consider themselves very close friends, like siblings. So that's another connection - Sara lost her sister to Damien Darhk, and Barry could potentially lose his to Savitar.

And, well . . . Grant Gustin is nice on the eyes, and Caity Lotz is gorgeous. The two of them together? 'Nuff said.

3. Sanvers ~ Alex Danvers/Maggie Sawyer

I said I wanted my stories to have some differences, since this story will again have a primary Earth-38 villain while handling the Earth-1 major villains, and Kariver is the main pairing focus, just like The Daxam Four. WhiteFlash is one of those differences. Maintaining the Sanvers relationship is another, because while I love Agent Canary, I saw Sanvers coming a mile away, and that "Medusa" scene melted my heart.

Alex will ultimately stay on Earth-38, with next to no idea what happens to her sister, and possibly no higher ranking support at the D.E.O. depending on how people vote on the final question. She knows Kara has her extrapolator, but other than that, she knows nothing. With Cadmus being the one after her, which her own father was part of (albeit unwillingly), Alex needs all the help she can get.

Enter everyone's favorite NCPD detective, Maggie Sawyer. She was an absolute sweetheart, and while the reason they broke up in Season 3 was completely believable to me (Alex wants to be a mother, and granted, after hearing about Maggie's childhood, I can believe her not wanting to be a mother), this is way ahead of Season 3. This is still in Season 2, and Sanvers is still going strong.

And so, that brings me to my final question (hopefully) before this story will officially start. The question is . . . what should I do with J'onn?

Everyone's favorite Martian will still be a target with Cadmus, primarily because Cadmus knows who he is and how high up a position he has in the D.E.O. Mon-El can handle himself with the help of Kara's friends, especially if he stays at the D.E.O., but J'onn is another story. Clark will definitely be heading to Earth-1 with Kara, but what do you think about J'onn?

Should he stay on Earth-38 for Alex, or should he go to Earth-1 to avoid Cadmus and look after Kara and Clark? I was keeping his promise to Jeremiah to keep his daughters safe in mind, but if they're split up, which way would J'onn go - with Alex, who would have the D.E.O., Maggie, and everyone at home, or with Kara, who would only have Clark in a place they have no way to contact without Kara's extrapolator?

Do let me know, everyone! I'm excited for when this will start!
