Alexie's POV

I stared into the beautiful ocean waves as they crash against the mighty ship. The deep sea was very interesting to me for it made me wonder what creatures lie underneath the surface. I sighed as I heard my name being called thinking it was Jack who wanted to show me a magic trick for the 50th time, but instead I turn around to see Robbie walking towards my way with a huge smile on his face.

" Hello Alexie. Beautiful morning isn't it? " , he asked as he stood next to me

" Yes it's beautiful indeed. " , I smiled

" So do you know what today's plan are? " , he asked with curiosity

" Well we don't usually plan everything out, it just comes up anyway whether we are ready or not, but we are mostly prepared anyway so not a big deal. " , I answered

Great job Alexie. You are probably confusing him.

" Well that's a good strategy right there. " , he stated

There was a moment of slience between us as he sighed and looked into the waters.

" Do you ever wonder what creatures lie underneath us? " , he asked

I looked at him liked if he read my mind.

" Umm y-yes. " , I shuttered embarrassing myself.

I could feel my cheeks warming up because he would just smile at me with his big, bright blue eyes. I released a small giggle and then we just broke into laughter.

" Why were you laughing? " , I asked trying to contain my laughter

" Because you were laughing. " , he giggled trying to contain his laughter.

" I guess my laughter is contagious. " , I said

" Very contagious. " , he said with a smile.

I was acaully glad that there was someone on this ship around my age then I wouldn't be the only silly teenager around here. I turn to see Robbie as he streched his neck to take a look closer at the patterns of the waves. I couldn't help but stare at him. Everything about him was perfect.

I have been so busy exploring new life in the waters that I haven't thought about being in love.

Maybe Robbie likes...nah, not me.

Well at least, I get a good view around here.

I meant the waters not Robbie.

Okay, maybe Robbie.

I was too busy daydreaming talking to myself that Robbie called my name like 5 times snapping in front of me.

" Alexie? Alexie? Alexie? Alexie? Alexie? Hello? " , he asked

" Umm..I'm here yes I'm here. " , I said snapping back to reality " What is it? "

" Well I just wanted to make sure you were okay. " , he said " I think there is something in the waters. "

He pointed out some fins sticking out of the deep blue sea.

" Sharks! There are sharks! Sharks in the water. " , he exclaimed

" Robbie, those aren't sharks...they are even worse. " , I said

" What could be worser than sharks? " , he asked me with curiosity

I turned to him and reached my hand down pointing to the fins in the water.

" Mermaids! " , I exclaimed
