"Again" my spector commands as I pant sweat clinging to my skin. It has been 20 minutes since Diane left me and since then I changed into my white lab designated outfit to carry on today's tests for Dr.Cliff.

"There all dead..please I don't want to continue" I say my heart beat drumming in my ears and puke being held down in my throat.

The old doctor had been making me do a series of intense tests for the pass week usually revolving around physical stamina but now he was playing with my mental emotions. He was now trying to test how much I could take without braking down. Little did he know I was already long gone from the start.

"Subject number 127839, Lilith do the task again" he repeats not sounding menacing at all. I think at this point he was used to my defiance.

I stared down at the dead animals before me. There was a beautiful white wolf dead on the white tiled floor. Her red crimson blood clinging to her soft coat. They had made me kill her along with various animals. Most of them harmless.

"Ok" I say softly with a small nod submitting to his wishes. The lab door opened and a beautiful polar bear comes in. He was the king of animals in the group we had today. And my most challanged taks.

"Begin" Dr.Cliff says from behind the glass windows. I step foward observing the animal. He was once  full of pride I could tell but now he seemed to be weak.

"Why are your eyes sad?" I ask softly looking at him. The polar bear  lifts his head up a little to make eye contact. Like the color brown of tree stumps his eyes bore into my red ones. Making no effort to aknowledge me anymore he let's his head drop back down. I really wanted to know why he seemed to be so deprived of happiness. Then again I wanted to know why I was so deprived myself.

"I will make this quick so please don't resist" I say.

Taking fewer steps towards the bear I take note of his position. He wanted me to kill him. Why?

"Stop" Dr.Cliff says through the loud speaker and I immediately freeze. What was wrong?

"Your opponent will not be the bear today his reading are off and I can tell he will make little to nothing effort to fight you off with his full might" taking a deep breath he then continues.

"Take the bear out and replace it with Experiment #783629" he says.

My eyes widen. He wanted me to go against another monster of his. Another of my species.

"Exuse me?" I ask to check if I heard him right. There was no chance I heard him right. He wanted me to kill another living, breathing organism.

"Send him in" Cliff says motioning to the doors once the bear was out. I take a few steps back unsure of what to do. My heart was beating loudly again this time. My eyes flicker to Cliff and I could tell his was monitoring my every move and internal conflicts.

"Hello" a deep voice says snapping me out of my trance. Turning my head slowly I take in a fearful sight of a half monster eating away at a boys body.

His sin was a snake. I could already tell by the scales formed at his right half of his body and not so normal eyes. Smirking he flicks his tounge and I shiver. It was long and spliced just like a snakes. The boy seemed to be enjoying my reaction. He had red shoulder length hair sported along by a fringe that covered one eye. His one visible eye was like a snakes green eye. His body was pale just like mine being at least 6 inches taller.

"My names Thomas, yours?"he asks playfully and I don't know how to respond.  Was I even allowed to respond? Checking Cliff again I notice he didn't really care so I did in a soft barley audible whisper.

"Lilith..subject number 127839" I say looking down to not meet his eyes.

"Quit the subject number bullshit and just go by the name" Thomas says making me look up.

"Its required for me to recite my nu-" I start but get cut off by him.

"Not around me you don't isn't that right Cliffy?" Thomas asks smirking at where Dr.Cliff is.

Dr.Cliff to my suprise just nods. Did Thomas know him personally or something? From what I can tell Thomas seemed to be higher up in the food chain than me.

"Thomas please give Subject 127839 her medication so we can start the process " Cliff says.

"Medication?" I ask confused and a bit frazzled seeing Thomas hold out some pills in his hand most were white and red. They were numbing medication.

"Why do I need this?" I inquire suspicious of the pills in his open palm. Thankfully he used his human hand to display the medication. I know it might sound a little prejudice  but I can't stand the animal side of my species..it was so primal.

"To make things more intresting, I already took some so hurry up and choke it down doll face" Thomas says and I send a quick glare grabbing the pulls out of his hand quick.

"Fine " I say without a second thought and just swallow down the dry pills.
Things were really going to be intresting now. I could already feel my body going numb. My brain started to cloud and my eyes were getting droopy. Thomas showed no side effects of the pills so I just wait a few more minutes for him to do so. He doesn't. Was he immune to the strong medication?

"Thomas did you take yours?" Cliff asks voice raising. He was having the same suspions as me. Thomas only grins.
