CHAPTER 17 | A HAUNTING CONSPIRACY

##########################

(y/n)'s P.O.V:

My eyes blinked several times before what just happened to sink in my mind. Wait, did he say fetch Kayla? What for?

Without any words said, I took hold of Killua's wrist, and pulled him as we exited the room together. Please, be still there--Kayla!

The silverette didn't question my actions, so I guess he might have guessed what I thought as well. We ran as fast as much as possible, and to return to our designated room; where Kayla was. Right before we reach the door, we heard a loud thud which came from the inside.

"Kayla!" I shouted out her name, as Killua and I finally arrived at our hotel room. My red eyes widened at the scene; as I saw the black dude choking her and lifted her body off the floor.

"Curse... You..." The deep-green haired girl uttered between breaths while glaring at the man, as she raised her hand and grabbed the enemy's arm.

Killua charged in without hesitation, and injured the devil's arm using his sharpened claws. His speed startled the black guy, which unabled him to react at the assassin's attack. As a result, he let go of the female, and groaned in pain.

The white-haired boy continued to punch him with an immense speed, and kicked him alternatively on his waist and knees.

While he distracted the black dude, I ran towards Kayla and helped her to get up on her feet. Then, I suddenly noticed the blood dripping out of her elbow, indicating that she possibly fought back when the enemy tried to grab her.

"(l/n)-san... Why are you doing this?" The injured female questioned me as we walked towards my room, and laid her down on my bed.

"Do what?" I responded, as my mind was kept preoccupied in searching for a cloth that I can use to wrap her wound.

"Saving me. You should've let me be killed by him... Considering what I did towards you and Killua, you have the every right to me angry at m--"

"Look, Kayla-san. What happened earlier doesn't matter anymore, okay? I... I've already forgiven you. And I hope you forgive yourself also. We chose to save you back there because that's what friends do, right?" I calmly replied, with a genuine smile as I aid the damage on her arm. Using my handkerchief I saw underneath the bed, I managed to prevent the blood from coming out.

"We're... Friends?" Tears slowly came out of her eyes, as her purple, radiant eyes stared at me. I nodded vaguely in response, and stood up quickly.

"Now, stay here. Don't move, okay? Killua and I will deal with that guy," I beamed a reassuring; yet faint smile to the girl, as she nodded swiftly and wiped her tears away.

"Wait," Kayla grabbed my wrist, gaining my attention. I looked back on her, turning my head to her direction.

"What?"

"...Here, you forgot this," The woman handed me a steel pen, which was my scythe. Then, the spar between me and her flashed back in my mind, as I remembered that I did dropped this while fighting. Thank goodness she have this. "You... You might need it." She added with a lenient grin.

"Yes, I do. Thank you so much for returning it to me, Kayla-san." I took hold of my weapon and placed it on my pocket, as I politely bowed to her and exited the room without further ado.

I headed back to where Killua was, however, there was nothing but mess and destroyed furnitures. I suddenly got nervous, and felt my heart beat raised up. Where are they?!

I hastily moved my feet around the chaotic living room, as I noticed a big hole on the wall near the window. Immediately, I ran towards it and peeked outside. The sun was already hiding in the obscure shadows of the valley, as the vast skies were painted dark blue and pale orange. The lamp posts were the only sources of light on the streets as the snowflakes fell, and luckily, my eyes caught them exchanging blows within the light and darkness.

Without any hesitation, I jumped out of the hole, landed on the concrete ground perfectly, and without any casualties. It was a good thing thay I did, because if I didn't, my ankles would've been broken and wouldn't function properly.

I ran towards them, shoving my fingers on the pocket where I kept my "pen". After taking it out of my clothes, I pressed the button and it instantaneously transformed into a red scythe.

Taking advantage of the black dude being distracted by Killua, I aimed my arsenal at his hip, planning to cut his body into half. But I didn't know that he was aware of me.

Just before I could swing my weapon and attack him, his right hand reeled backwards, and extended his nails towards the scythe. He binded his steel-like nails around it, as he tilted his head to me. "(y/n)! Care to join our little battle? Hahaha!" He manically laughed, and plastered a hideous grin on his black tainted lips.

"Let... Go...!" I exclaimed between grunts as I tried to pull my weapon from his grasp. He once again laughed hysterically, completely forgetting about Killua's prescence.

Without any words said, the assassin pierced him using his sharpened hands through his stomach, and electrified him as an absolute attack. He looked at me with a cheeky smile, as I returned a wide one. I held a thumbs up, as he removed his hands from the black dude's body. He fell on the ground and snow, letting go of my scythe and was burnt like a charcoal. Well, his color was already charcoal, but you can see it in his eyes that he was affected by the tremendous lighting shock.

"A... Astra-sama!" He painfully wailed, paralyzed. "H-Help me!" He cried to no one, which made me and Killua wander our eyes around; vigilant if that "Astra" was around somewhere; since our enemy was seeking for the demon's guidance.

Then, out of the sudden, a green smoke emerged from the concrete, and surrounded the black dude. The albino stepped back; cautiously judging the peculiar smoke. It might be poisonous, who knows. Killua ran and stood in front me, shielding me from that ominous thing. He's protecting me again... His actions made me smile, but then, I realized that this was not the time to think thoughts like that.

After it was finished enclosing around the enemy, a loud thunder was heard from the skies, startling me and the male. It striked where the black dude was positioned, as I felt the ground under my feet rumbled. "I-I'm coming back for you, (y/n). And I'll make sure to end you..." The black guy murmured wickedly, as his aura vanished, along with the eccentric atmosphere. What's with him?

"It looks like his 'Astra' really did rescued him," I nonchalantly remarked, as the assassin gazed at me with his blue eyes.

"He got away--again." Killua simply stated, as he clenched his fist and dispersed his Kanmaru.

"Yeah. But why is he after Kayla-san? And why does she knows her and her name? Is she being targeted... because of me?" I slowly widened my eyes after saying my last statement, as I glanced at the assassin with a worried expression on my face. What if...

"No, that's not it, (y/n). Don't think like that, okay? That jerk must have a different reason why does he want Kayla." He gently placed both of his hands on my shoulder, and stared directly into my red orbs.

"But, there's a possibility that it's because of me. Afterall, I was the first one he was chasing before. This sudden attack must be related to my situation, right?"

"I don't know for sure. I have no idea why weird and strange things are happening around us." Killua furrowed his eyebrows, as he gave off a really troubled aura. "Anyways, let's go back to the hotel, and personally ask Kayla if she knows something about this." He added, removing his palms off my shoulders.

"Okay, let's do that." I patiently nodded in response, as I started to move my legs but the albino hastily grabbed my wrist, and gained my attention.

"We can't enter through the entrance," He remarked.

"Huh? It's the entrance, of course we can enter there." I replied, raising an eyebrow.

"No, that's not what I meant. What I mean is that, I just fought with someone, and my clothes are a mess. People will get curious and nosy why I look like this." The white-haired assassin explained calmly, pertaining to his appearance.

"What's wrong with how you look? You still look handsome," I kid, giggling in the process as the silverette's face went pinkish.

"Huh? What--no, I'm saying is that--"

"I'm just kidding, Killua. I get your point," I chuckled mildly, as I patted his head with a tender smile. "But how are we going to our rooms without going through the entrance?"

"There." He raised his index finger, and pointed at the hole I went out earlier.

"Okay, how?" I asked with a scoff, then the assassin suddenly carried me the same way he usually did. Without saying anything, he ran towards the building, and jumped on top of a car parked nearby it. Afterwards, he continued and went straight inside the wall's hole on our room.

The moment his feet met with the hotel's cemented floor, he put me down and fell on his knees.

"Oi, Killua!" I turned around, and saw the assassin's waist bleeding as his shirt absorbed the red liquid. I panicked when I also saw his blood trickling down on his forehead, down to his chin.

"I'm fine... I just took a few hits from that bastard," He sweetly smiled at me, despite the fact that he was injured a lot. Bruises and cuts can be easily spotted on his soft, pale skin too.

"No, you're not! Baka," I rapidly wrapped his left arm around my neck, and guided him to the couch for him to sit. "Just stay still, I'm just gonna get the first-aid kit." I stated trembling, as I hurriedly roamed aroung the living room to search for the kit. But unfortunately, when I did, I saw it got smashed by the broken glass and wooden table. Must be when Killua and that dude fought inside here. Tch, damn it!

"(y/n)? Killua? What happened here?" As I heard Riesha's voice coming from behind me, I felt relieved and relaxed. Immediately, I faced the female and approached her. Gon was standing next to her as well.

"Riesha, does this place have an extra first-aid kit aside from here?" I promptly questioned.

"Uh, no, I think there's only one... Why? Is someone injured?" Tsk damn it! The wound... Might have poison again. I should disinfect it as soon as possible!

"Yeah, Killua and Kayla. Kayla's in my room--"

"Wait, that witch is here?! Why?!" Interrupting my statement, the turquoise-haired girl yelled in surprise, but I do understand why.

"It's a very long story, Riesha. But please, trust me. She means no harm anymore." I took and held her hands, giving her a reassuring smile.

"Okay, but can you tell me what happened first? Why is this place a wreck? Look at the furnitures! They're all crushed into bits and pieces!" She exclaimed infuriatedly. "Oh my goodness, there's a huge hole on the wall!"

"Later, I'll explain it to the both of you." I looked at the girl, as Gon started cleaning and picking up the clutter scattered around the floor.

"We should fix this havoc before someone even sees this," The male kindly suggested, and it wasn't too long before Riesha joined him in doing so.

"Thank you Gon, Riesha. I'm so sorry for the confusion." I bowed my upper body to them, as they resumed organizing the mess. "Riesha, can I count in you in looking after Killua and Kayla? They're badly wounded, and they need assistance. Kayla's resting at my room," I added as I grabbed a brown jacket that was hanged behind the door, and my wallet.

"Um, yeah. Sure thing. But where are you going?"

"I'm just gonna go to the nearest store I can find, buy some bandages and the likes for the them." I gave off a faint smile to her, as she stood up and walked towards me.

"Are you sure you want to go alone? I can come with you, if you want." The female offered as I placed my hand in the doorknob and twisted it to open.

"I'm fine, Riesha. It's just some bandages and first-aid materials, so no worries. Gon needs your help the most, so it's better if you'd stay with him. Besides, I'll be back before you know it." I replied and declined respectfully, and waved my palm slightly.

"Okay, take care." Right after she said those words, I exited the room and ran quickly outside the hotel building.

* * * *

"That'll be 217 jenny in total, ma'am." The lady in counter stated politely as she placed four rolls of bandages and some medicine--that I picked out earlier--on a brown paper bag.

"Here," I handed her the payment, and waited for the change. And as she placed my money in the cashier, I glanced at the wall clock displayed on the top of the shop's door. It's already 10:07pm. I need to hurry. Since there was only one available person on the counter, it kinda took time before I can finally get out of this stupid store.

"Thank you! Come back again," She cheerfully remarked, as I waved my hands and slightly bowed my head. I highly doubt that. Sorry.

I headed towards the door, and exited the shop immediately. As I tried to run and hurry back to the hotel, I unexpectedly tripped over my own feet, and my ankle suddenly throbbed with pain.

"Woah--!" Luckily, somebody caught my arm instantly, and prevented me from falling face-flat on the snowy road.

"Are you okay?" A male voice cooed as his grip on my arm tightened and helped me to get my balance back.

"Y-Yeah, thanks." I replied without looking at him, and furrowed my eyebrows together as I lifted my sprained ankle. Tch, is this because I jumped off the building earlier? But I thought I landed just fine, so why would it hurt right now?

"Damn, your ankle looks so swollen. What happened?" The green haired male commented, and made me look at him. He was kinda tall, with a straight, calm green hair that reached on his shoulders. His lime green eyes were so gentle, yet sharp. His skin tone was fair, but Killua was whiter.

"It's a long story. I'm fine now, so thank you," Remembering the assassin and Kayla's condition, I harshly pulled my arm from his grasp as his orbs widened in surprise.

"No, you're not." And as if on cue, I once again fell on my knees and grazed my butler's pants on the cemented, cold street. "See?" He said nonchalantly, as he walked towards me and extended his hand to me. Damn it, it really hurts.

"You can barely walk on your own. C'mon, gimme your hand. I can't watch a pretty girl like yourself getting hurt, knowing that I can help." The male beamed a bewildering smile to me, and once again offered his support.

"The compliment wasn't necessary, but fine. I appreciate your help," I sarcastically stated as I placed my hand on his, and he chuckled mildly. He gently pulled me up, and I felt my ankle sting as soon as I stepped my feet flatly on the icy ground.

"No, it was. It was nothing but the truth." He retorted back.

"Whatever." I snickered, as we continued walking on the dark, quiet street.

"Hahaha, I like you already." He laughed in such a manner, while I only focused my gaze in front of me. "By the way, what's your name?"

"...(y/n)." I hesitantly answered, as I spotted at the corner of my eyes that his eyes gleamed. Huh? "How about you?"

"I'm Gyuen. My friends call me Uen in short, but it's up to you whatever you want to call me." He cheerfully explained, as I found myself looking at him. Hm... He seems nice, and friendly. I guess it was only my imagination when I sensed something strange on him. It looks like I got cautious for nothing.

"What are those for?" He added, pertaining to the paper bag that I was holding in my left hand.

"Oh, my first-aid kit got, um... lost, so I bought some."

"What for? Are you injured?"

"No, uh, it's just in case of emergency." I stated off a petty lie at him, hiding the fact since he was still mysterious for me.

"Oh. Well, I hope you won't get to the point where you'll use that." The boy playfully winked me, but I would care the least. This guy is really flirting with me. What the heck?

I remained silent after his last sentence, and we proceeded in walking soundlessly, with only the nature's noise to be heard. A several minutes have passed, and we're getting closer to the hotel. Just a few more turns and walk, we'll reach the building in no time.

"My destination is nearby. We just need to head to--" Interrupting my sentence, Uen abruptly pulled me to an alley; which made me let go of the items that I recently bought. The place was very dark and the atmosphere felt gloomy.

"Oi, what are we doing here? The hotel is in the opposite direction." Then, he made turn in a grim room through a hidden door on the wall of the alley. I tried to escape his grip, but his grasp was stronger. If my ankle wasn't sprained at all, I could just kick him, but unfortunately, I can't.

"Uen! Where are you taking me?! Let go of me! Uen--" The green-haired male suddenly pinned me on a wall and pressed his lips on mine. My eyes widened at a total shock, and my hands automatically pushed him away.

"Are you out of your mind?! W-Why did you do that, you jerk?!" I felt my cheeks warm up, not in embarrassment, but in agitation. However, what I saw in his expression killed all of those anger, and it was replaced by terror.

"You truly are beautiful, my (y/n)." He had this sinister grin in his face, and a cloudy aura in his eyes. "Royien was right. Astra was right. You are perfect," He slowly took some steps towards me, and made my heart beat a lot faster.

Without any delay, I ran out of the creepy room even though my ankle ached a lot. But due to my clumsiness, I again fell on the ground, as my pants were scratched open. Ugh, damn it!

"You can't go anywhere, (y/n)." Uen hysterically laughed, as he came out of that room and walked towards me. Suddenly, the male grabbed me by my hair, and pulled it upwards. I felt something pricked my neck, and as I diverted my eyes to my right, I saw him injecting some unknown green liquid to me.

After he pulled the syringe out, he chuckled evilly as I continued crawling away from the crazy man. "(y/n), it's futile!"

"Shut up, you--" Stopping mid-sentence, my face fell on the frigid cemented floor as I felt my whole body numb. "W-What d-did you d-do to m-me?!" I nervously shouted. I can't feel my body. I can't move my limbs...? Damn it!

"Oh, that? That was just my personally made drug, which paralyzes the victim's whole body. Your nervous system won't function accordingly anymore, just the way I preferred it. And the only way to disarm it when I would stop breathing. But that'll never happen," He plastered a smug smile on his lips, as he lifted my body up and hanged me on his shoulder. "But I forgot to include in disabling the person's ability to talk in the drug. Stupid, right?"

"Let me down! Uen, please! I need to go back to the hotel... Let me go!" Since yelling was the only option I've got, I screamed so loudly, as he still continued on carrying me back to that eccentric room.

Then, he immediately threw me in a foamy object, which I assumed was a bed. My vision was still clear, but the area was dark. There was only a slight blue light peeking through the door's corner.

"Uen, please. Let me go...! Please..." I was forced to swallow my pride, and begged for his mercy.

"Shh, (y/n). Be quiet, okay? This will be over soon..." He whispered in a weak voice, as I felt him getting on the bed as well.

"...Someone! Help me! Help! Please! Someone, anyone!" I desperately pleaded and cried for help, feeling so hopeless.

Without saying anything, he covered my mouth with a tape, limiting my possibility to be found. "I said be quiet, right? Well, too bad I can't kiss your lips anymore. But I'm just getting started, so I won't risk you being found out." The green-haired boy muttered, as he took off my brown jacket, revealing my worn-out butler clothes.

"Mmhmm!" I carelessly yelled, but it was completely useless. I muffled on result, as the male on top of me grinned mischievously.

"You're so pretty, (y/n). Your eagerness to escape turns me on..." He then traveled his fingers underneath my butler suit, as he teasingly touched my bare skin. His perverted lips kissed me on my jawline, and slowly down to my collar bone.

"No... Stop it, please..." I felt my tears escaping my eyes, and I wasn't able to move my eyelids as well.

"(y/n)..." Uen groaned as my name tenderly came out of his mouth, and continued harrassing me. Both of his hands unbuttoned my clothes, and took it off me.

If I only had my powers... I could just eliminate the drug in my veins and kill this bastard. But... I can't.

I was left with my white blouse, as the male removed his upper clothing, leaving him shirtless and half-naked. He made my anesthetized arms wrap around his neck, as he continuously kissed me on my neck and on my shoulders.

Killua... I'm so sorry.

"Your figure is so gorgeous... I can't wait to make you mine, (y/n)." He moaned softly, as he deliberately and slowly unbuttoned my blouse as well, leaving me in my underwear. I can see his sweaty, red face; gazing at me with malicious thoughts. I didn't think that a kind guy like him... would have a haunting conspiracy towards me.

"You're so wonderful, (y/n); I could barely stop myself." He remarked, as he zestfully roamed his hands on my hips, on my tummy, and down to my back. He intentionally unclipped my bra, as Uen blissfully laughed.

I hope you're fine, Killua. I'm... I'm sorry, but I think I'm gonna be late.

Killua's P.O.V:

"Killua, can you hear me?" A female's voice resonated in my sense of hearing, and felt my wounds throbbed as I regained my consciousness.

"(y/n)...?" I faintly furrowed my eyebrows, as I slowly opened my eyes.

"Unfortunately, no. It's me, Riesha." She replied, while I finally saw where I am. I was lying down on the couch, and the turquoise-haired female was sitting on a chair next to me.

I gently stood up, slightly feeling my cuts ache. But I didn't care, and immediately wandered my eyes around to search for (y/n). "Where is she, then?" I asked.

"She just went outside to get you and Kayla some bandages with medicines. Your first-aid kit here in the living room got destroyed, so she has to go out and buy some." She calmly explained. I saw Gon behind her, cleaning up the mess I accidentally made earlier. I glanced to my left, and looked at the hole I did as well. Thankfully, they covered it up with some blankets and long cloth.

"Oh, okay. I'm... I'm sorry for the ruckus I made. It was my fault that this place is a total mess," I admitted reluctantly, and the female held up her thumbs in response.

"It's okay, Killua. We understand, but you and your girlfriend should explain what happened, okay?" She rashly commented, as I kinda felt embarrassed when she pertained to (y/n) as my... Girlfriend.

"Sure. And oh, thank you for treating my wounds." I vaguely nodded, as I gazed on my waist and saw that it was gently wrapped with a white clothing.

"It was nothing. It's actually (y/n) who told to help you and Kayla with your injuries," She remarked, as I mildly smiled at her statement. She also smiled back, but it immediately vanished as she glanced at her silver wrist watch. "But it's been a while since she left the building, and she haven't returned yet. Can you, um, check her for me? She said she went to find the nearest store, so she'll be just around the corner, I guess." The female added.

"I know you're injured and I shouldn't allow you to move as much as possible, but I really have a bad feeling with her going out this late in the night. Gon and I still have so much to clean this place..." Riesha shyly asked, as she lowered her head politely.

"Don't worry, Riesha. It's fine with me. I'm already feeling well," I placed my right hand at her shoulder, and stood up as she raised her head at me.

"Thank you." She replied, as I hastily grabbed and wore my black turtle neck sweatshirt that was on the sofa's arm rest. Before exiting the building itself, I looked at a round wall clock as it read that it was already 10:11 PM. Darn, it really is late. I need to find (y/n), as soon as possible.

"Damn, it's really cold out here," I let out a fine amount of air from my mouth, as I rubbed my hands together to minimize and eradicate th coldness me. I walked down the frosty night, as I averted my gaze around to look for a store and hoping that I would find (y/n) in no time.

"(y/n)! Oi, where are you? (y/n)--" Unknowingly, my call discontinued by something my foot stumbled upon. I accidentally stepped on some sort of brown paper bag, which made me stop on my tracks, and looked down for a moment.

I picked it up carefully, and shoved my hand into it. I grabbed on it's contents, and I pulled out some of it slowly. The lamp post's light exposed to me that it was rolls of bandages.

"Is this..." My eyes widened, as Riesha's words flashed back into my mind.

"She just went outside to get you and Kayla some bandages with medicines. Your first-aid kit here in the living room got destroyed, so she has to go out and buy some."

My thoughts played with me, and show-casing me the worst case scenario. Realizations confused me, and made my heart race in nervousness. "Why is this on the floor..?"

I immediately let go of the items in my hands, and started running around the area. "(y/n)! (y/n), where are you?! (y/n)!" I shouted angrily, as I glanced in every corner and looked at every person that would pass through me. Please...Please be fine. Please tell me that you're alright, (y/n).

Hastily, I turned on my En, and maximized my range as much as I could, even though it takes a lot of energy to do. I don't care, as long if that's what it would take so I could find her sooner.

After searching my surroundings using my En, I sensed a faint aura not that far from me. I couldn't completely identify who's was it, since something was hindering it. It was exhausting; seeking a lost girl with my En, while I'm injured and wasn't in my best condition. But I didn't care.

I recklessly followed this uncertain lead, and prayed for the best. Pursuing the fading aura, it led me to a dull and murky alley, with a dispiriting atmosphere. With cautious steps, I proceeded further inside the alley, as I sharpened all my senses. I also hid my prescence, just to make sure to keep myself veiled. I spotted a shape of a door on the wall, disguised as an exit. However, what I heard afterwards convinced me that it wasn't.

"You're so wonderful, (y/n); I could barely stop myself." A lustful voice moaned (y/n)'s name, as his egregious laugh echoed along the alley.

Judging from what I heard, that was enough to make my blood boil; and I immediately slammed the door open. "(y/n)!" I ferociously yelled.

There was this half naked green-haired guy, who was pressing himself all over (y/n), as he bombarded her with sensual kisses everywhere on her body. He was lewdly positioned on top of the girl, who's lifelessly and motionlessly lying on the bed. Her top clothing was gone, leaving her in her underwear. The female's butler suit and jacket was scattered on the floor, and a large syringe.

"...YOU BASTARD!" Without wasting any second, I furiously kicked the pervert off (y/n), and made his whole body crash on the wall. Not giving him an opportunity to rest nor breathe, I ran towards him and sharpened my nails as I did. I instantly choked him within a second after I attacked the jerk, and lifted him up with total fury.

"Just... Calm down..." The guy smirked annoyingly, as he stated those words in between his intake of air.

"What...? Calm down?! What the hell is wrong with you, you jackass?!" I tightened my grip on his neck, and his hands took hold off my arm; trembling as he did.

"I was just... Borrowing her..." He replied, still smirking. This guy is...!

"Borrowing her?! You were harrassing her, you bastard!"

"Harassing? She asked me to do it in the first place..." The green haired boy added, and somehow was able to communicate with me, despite the fact that I was choking him. "And she was really great at it...! Ah! She was a wonderful! She--"

"I've heard enough." I closed my fist that was clutching his neck, completely destroying his throat. His fresh, red blood flowed down to my arm, dripping off on my elbow. I reeled back my other arm, and thrusted my sharpened nails into his chest, and clenched his pumping heart withtin my fingers. Without any mercy given, I promptly pulled out his main organ out of his dead body.

"There. Now you are truly heartless, regarding on what you did to (y/n)." I monotonously remarked, as I dropped him and the squashed heart on the freezing floor. I emotionlessly stared at the bleeding corpse before me, as I felt his blood all over me.

Hah... I killed again. It's been a while since my skin touched human flesh and blood. I even pledged to myself that I won't kill again, but...

I let the red blood drip off on the tip of my fingers, as I glanced back at the girl on the bed. Her capability to speak was cut off by a tape, as her red eyes were shut off with traces of tears were left behind.

I hurriedly picked up her clothes on the floor, as I saw the syringe evaporated like a water under the fiery sun rays. Furrowing my eyebrows in confusion, I shook my head and shrugged it off. I looked at (y/n), as I noticed her black bra loose. He was so close in taking off her undergarments... Thank goodness I came just in time before he did.

I took off my black sweater, as I approached the unconscious female cautiously and peeled off the tape that was sealing her mouth. As much as I can, I avoided looking at her as I made her wear my clothing to cover her upper body. It was tempting--I'd have admit that. As a man, it was very much... seductive and provoking.

I gently wrapped my arms around her, and carried her the same way I used to do. I exited the room and the alley quietly, and voicelessly walked back to the hotel building.

I entered again through the hole, and pulled down the cloth that I assumed Gon placed. As I entered the room, I saw the couple sitting on the couch, with their eyes closed. Riesha's head rested on Gon's shoulder, and they were snuggled together sweetly. I faintly smiled at them, as I headed towards my room. Kayla's in (y/n)'s room, so mine was the only vacant place (y/n) can sleep on.

I placed her tenderly on the bed, as I just stared at her sleeping and breathing. I sat beside her, and gently caressed her black hair with my fingers.

"(y/n)... I'm so sorry... I shouldn't have left you alone. I shouldn't have lost my consciousness, and just kept you safe, with me." I uttered falteringly, as a crack laced my voice.

I was still overwhelmed by my anger, but then the girl suddenly moved her head, as her pretty red eyes met with mine. I was so glad that she was fine... Or so I thought.

"(y/n)? Thank God you're alright. Are you--" I was abruptly interrupted when she slapped my hands off her shoulders, and she widen her eyes as she sat up, undoubtedly terrified.

"N-No! D-D-Don't touch m-me! G-G-Get a-away from m-me, you j-jerk!" She stammeringly yelled as she stutttered with her words, and distanced herself from me.

"Hey, what's wrong? It's me, Killua." I stood up and opened the lights, and allowed her to see my face clearly. She must be traumatized after what happened to her...

"N-No..." Her orbs were covered by the continuous flow of painful tears, as it gradually trickled down on her cheeks. The bright fluorescent also revealed to me her red and violet tainted bruises, as well with the bite marks on her neck. She once again lowered her head, as her black locks sheathed her face from me.

"(y/n)... Can't you recognize my voice? It's me, Killua. Remember?" Carefully, I walked towards her with both of my hands extended to her; showing to the female that I mean no harm.

"Ki...llua?" She pronounced my name properly between sobs, as she finally looked at me directly in my eyes with hers. I nodded in response, smiling mildly.

Her eyes enlarged as she realized that I'm not the person she think I was. Instantaneously, (y/n) stood up from the bed, and jumped on me with arms binded around my neck.

"Killua! Killua... I was so terrified. It was so scary... His hands and lips were all over me...!" Her embrace got tighter, word per word. I could feel her tears drenching my shoulders, as her cries made my heart break into thousands of pieces. "I couldn't move... It was dark, and my body was unable to move they way I want them to... I was frozen..." Every word and letter that came out of her mouth felt like blades that stabbed me, as my mind subconsciously imagined what he had done with her. I furiously balled my fist in rage, and hugged the girl back.

"You don't have to be scared now, (y/n). He...

...He can't hurt you anymore, nor even lay a finger on you."

[A/N:]

Justa side note before you go, my beloved readers. I know that mostly of you are girls (of course, but I don't discriminate the boys, just to inform you), and I hope that you're all fully aware that what happened to (y/n), is very possible to us females.

So, just a piece of advice from Aricchi. Please do not walk alone outside on a very late evening, and don't trust someone (a stranger) so easily. I'm not saying this on behalf of your parents (well, partially), but I want you to know that I'm saying this because I care for all of you. I want you to know that sexual harassment are very prone to happen to us girls. But I don't mean only us.

That's all. Stay safe, everyone!

Have a nice day, and Godbless! I hoped you didn't mind the 6000+ words update. *sweatdrops* Why do I still think that my writing is still trashy? (눈_눈) This update probably was the longest chapter of TBATA. Welp.
