You're going to get out of here. Even if she is another victim, she might slow you down, and if you can just escape, your first call will be to the police to ensure Wes never hurts anyone again.

Ducking down, you take one step outside of the stall and glance around. Yes, this barn is definitely old; it doesn't look like it's been used in years. The vague shapes of ancient equipment loom up out of the darkness, covered in dust and cobwebs that glimmer in the light of the moon filtering in through one large, high window opposite the hay loft.

As you creep through the barn toward what you hope is the door, moving carefully so that you don't trip—with your hands tied together you wouldn't be able to catch yourself very easily, and you don't want to make any more noise—you notice an old-timey plow laying on its side.

Wait! You could probably use the blade of that plow to slice through the ropes that bind your wrists!

You're not going to be much good running with your hands tied together. You decide to stop and cut the ropes. [[Go to Chapter 23.]]

There isn't time to cut the ropes. You're going to run. [[Go to Chapter 24.]]
