Brice's pov

I kept hearing Ty's words in my mind, 'We are only able to avoid it by turning you immortal like us, so you wouldn't leave Seto.' . My mind repeated that one sentence, trying to drive me insane. I mean, I love Seto, I would do anything for him... I just, don't know if I would want to live forever. I finally pulled into the drive way and took my keys out of the ignition. I stepped out of my car and walked to the door hesitantly, not wanting to have to explain to Seto how I know what happened in the past. I opened the door to my house and walked in to see Seto, watching a movie on the couch. "H-hey, Seto..." I said, not knowing how he'll react to all this. In all seriousness, I was terrified. "Oh! You're home!" He said and stood up. He walked over to me and hugged me, I hugged him back and kissed the top of his head, his hair is so soft! "So what did you do? You were gone for a while?" He questioned. I grabbed his hand and pulled him over to the couch. We both sat down and I now had both of his hands, entwined with mine. His face had confusion written all over it. "Seto... I've got something to say... I went to Ty's and... He told me some, interesting things..." I said, his face now shown, pure horror. I scooted closed to him and I saw his iris' flicker a brighter purple for not even a second. "W-w-well... uhmm... I.. D-don't know what to s-say..." He finally said, after getting over the initial terror of it all. "Seto, I don't care that you've lived for that long, or that you're magic! I don't even care that I've been alive more than once! I just care about you, and I care that you're safe. Plus, I think the whole magic thing is awesome!" I finished. Seto had a slight smile on his face. But I couldn't see it for long, he had lunged at me and engulfed me in a hug. I immediately hugged back, relieved that he took it well. "Thank you Brice..." He whispered. I could tell he was crying, and it broke my heart. I let go of the embrace and held him by his shoulders. "C'mon... Don't cry, it's a happy moment!" I said whilst wiping away his tears. I kept my hand on his cheek and he leaned into my hand. I laughed lightly and kissed his forehead. "So I have a question for you." I said, not even trying to hide my smile. He nodded, as a signal to go on. "Could you maybe do something magical? Pretty please???" I asked in the most childlike voice I could muster. He looked surprised, but just laughed a bit and nodded. He held his hand up and closed his eyes, he looked like he was concentrating hard. Suddenly, a small purple fire ball appeared in his hand and slowly transformed into different shapes. First it was a dragon, then it was a wolf, then a bird type thingy... Or maybe it was a lion. "What was that last one?" I asked. He laughed and looked at me with glowing lavender eyes. "It's a Griffin. They still exist today, but they hide themselves amongst the trees and shrubbery." He said. I nodded in amazement. The fire disappeared and the glow in his eyes died down. He s
