chapter seven: first date
Seto's pov
Me and Brice finally made it home and pretty much passed out on the couch. Well, he did... I pondered on the idea of telling Brice what I am. I eventually fell asleep, snuggling into Brice's chest.
Time skip
(still Seto's pov)
I woke up to no-one next to me and a fuzzy blanket over me. I sat up and looked around to try and find any signs that Brice was in the house but found none. I saw a folded piece of paper on the table that had my name written on it. I picked it up and unfolded it to see and short paragraph littered with hearts. It read, "Morning cutie! I went out to get some food in the house, if you need me, call or text me. Love you, from Brice <3"
I'm never going to get used to him saying he loves me, but it's still adorable. I put the note back on the table and hastily stood up. The cuts on my arms were already starting to heal, due to me being a sorcerer. The magic coursing through my blood speeds up the healing process, no matter what the injury is. My back was a little sore from sleeping on the couch, but that could be solved with some pain killers. I walked up the stairs in Brice's house, looking for the bathroom and eventually found it. I looked in the cabinets and found a bottle of Advil. I took one of the small pills and easily swallowed it. I closed the cabinet and looked at myself in the mirror. I was extraordinarily pale, I had bags under my eyes, and my dark brown hair was a mess. But one thing that caught my attention was a dark bruise on my neck that wasn't there before. Brice must have given me a hickey while I was asleep. I sighed and walked out of the surprisingly large bathroom. I went back to the couch and sat down, waiting for Brice to get home. I turned on the T.V. and looked for something that sounded interesting to watch. I never got to watch T.V. while I lived with my father. If I even tried he would either drag me up to my room and lock me in there for days, or just beat the shit out of me until I 'learned my lesson'. I found a show called Supernatural and decided to watch that. By the title, I thought it was going to be some stupid show, claiming to see and speak to ghosts, But I was so wrong. It was an amazing show about these people hunting down monsters and things to figure out what happened to their father. It's actually pretty interesting! (I have only watched the first episode of Supernatural so don't quote me on my description) I ended up hugging a pillow and wrapping the fuzzy blanket around me fully, so you could only see my face, partially. I didn't even notice the door being unlocked and Brice walking in the house. I was currently on season three episode six of Supernatural. I finally noticed Brice was there when he flopped on top of me and snuggled into the fluffiness of the blanket. "You are adorable Seto. You are my little fluffy couch potato!" Brice said while laughing slightly. I laughed as well and replied with, "I can't help it! It's a good show!" He looked at the T.V. and gasped. "You're watching Supernatural! I have to agree with you that it is amazing. I'm on season six episode twenty." He said with wide eyes. He got off me and lifted the blanket up. He got under the blanket and put me in his lap. He put the blanket over the both of us and kissed the top of my head. "I'm watching this with you." He said and rested his head on top of mine and held my hands in his large ones. I smiled and got comfortable in his arms. "Hey Brice?" I questioned. "What's up Seto?" He replied. "Does this count as our first date?" I asked. He giggled and replied with, "Yes, because Supernatural is amazing an deserves to be included in our first date!" I shook my head and laughed, but continued watching.
