"Dude, you really have to stop talking to girl's so fast, that could be Victoria's sister, and I'll have to beat her sisters ass again!" I laugh walking closer to my brother.

"Don't worry, sister, it's not, she has no sibling's only 2 cousins that live with her." He laughs.

"Almost ready to go home, apple?" I ask him. And he nods his head.

"You call him, apple?" I hear Michael say. All I do is roll my eyes and nod. Soon he stands up and approaches me. "My family Calls me that too, well they call me 'Applehead', " He starts giggling. Great I need a new nickname for my brother. "I guess it's 'cause my heads shaped like an apple,"

I can't help but giggle just a little. It's true he has an apple head. After awhile I see Cameron approach us. I'm so happy because he was supposed to be leaving tomorrow so I wanna get all my goodbyes in today.

"Hey, Cameron!" I shout, as I walk over to him.

"Hey!" He greats me with a hug.

Michael's POV

Ugh, Cameron is here. He has to ruin everything, doesn't he? Yep, he does. What does she see in him? He has freckles, that ain't cute, they would only be cute on me. Then again, anything's cute on me.

I look over my shoulder to see Makayla and Cameron hugging. I gag a little in my mouth at that sight.

"Hey!" I hear a voice approach me. I turn around to see Adam.

"'Sup, man," I say giving him a fist bump.

"'Sup, and is that my sisters boyfriend?" he asks. I hope not.

"I don't know, they've been, all hugging, and lovey, dovey on each other though."

"Umm, no we haven't, so you sound dumb!" I hear someone yell behind me I turn to see Makayla she pursed her lips and squints her eyes.

She looks cute. But she'll never be with me for all I've done to her. And I really do wish I could take all that back. I need her, I want her to be mine. She'll be mine. The girl will be mine.

I playfully roll my eyes at Makayla who was still standing there. Clearly pissed. I couldn't help but laugh.

Makayla's POV

"Hey Makayla?"

"Yeah, Cameron?"

"When I get back, I'm taking you on an incredible date, and you'll love it...because I'm lovable, and so are my dates," He laughed.

"Whatever, Cameron. Conceited much?" I laughed and playfully rolled my eyes. "But if you loose... then it's a no no."

"Girl, you are talkin' to the Point Guard of a team with 2 loses throughout the whole season... honey boo boo child, I'm gonna win... so get ready for that date," He says with a smile I couldn't help but laugh.

"Yeah, okay," I sarcastically say. While rolling me eyes.

"Girl, if you keep rolling your eyes they gonna get stuck...and I'm gonna laugh!" He said.  Mimicking me and rolling his eyes over an over again. We walked over to chairs and sat down.

"Yo, 'soon to be bae' knocked the fuck outta some girl!" Maria shouted with her big mouth. I glare at her and she just laughs at me and goes back to drinking her smoothy.

"You did?" He asks shocked with his eyebrows raised high.

"Yeah... but she started it... she needed to know her place so I showed her, her place."

"Feisty!" He says laughing. I couldn't help but blush.

"I have to go now, but I'll see you soon," he hugs me then leaves.

"Come on, Maria and Adam let's go!" I yell towards them. Maria is talking to some guy who looks about 28 and she's 17. He has pretty green/hazel eyes. He has what people now would call it 'a fuckboy haircut'. He's skinny and tall and he's white I'm assuming. Which is weird because last time I checked she was all into the brown skins. Adam is talking to a group of guys. How'd he make friends already?

"Okay!" They both yell back.

Soon we grab our towels, sunscreen, lotion, etc. And we leave the pool. Once we are about 10 minutes away from home I hear someone call my name.

"Makayla!" It's no other than the devil himself, Michael Jackson.
He comes jogging up behind me I just gesture for Maria and Adam to go home without me and that I'd catch up.

"Whaaaaaat!" I drag.

"I wanted to talk to you," He says so sweet and nicely.

"Oh then...let's totally talk, " I say in my valley girl voice sarcastically, "I do not wanna talk to you."

"Why? Come on Kaylah please?"
He pleads, his eyes become sad and he sticks out his bottom lip, pouting.

"First: it's Makayla to you, second: Michael take a hint. I-" I say pointing to myself. "Don't like talking to you, and don't like you. So leave me alone!"

Michael walks closer to me and all I feel is tingles. He walks so close to me I can feel his warm breath on my face.

"You're breathing on my face," I say bluntly.

"Oh, uh- Oh...sorry," he says, clearly embarrassed. He backs away and starts rubbing the back of his neck,  "I'm gonna go home now," I just nod as he walks off.
I run up towards to Maria and Adam.

"Didn't I tell y'all to go ahead? Y'all walked like a block and a half," I laugh.

"Does Michael like you?" Adam asks, with a serious face.

"No, no I don't even talk to him like that... by the way, he has a girlfriend."

"Ooh okay, just wondering," He says. Maria, Adam, and I start walking home. When we get there Maria says her goodbyes and then leaves to her house.

"Dude, it's 8:00 already, " I say, as I walk in the kitchen and make some popcorn and grab some barbeque lays. "I'ma go to sleep, little bro."

"Okay, that's fine, I'ma just stay down here and watch tv," He says turning the channel to BET. I just nod and go up to my room.

I turn on my tv to the conjuring and I pour the barbeque chips into my popcorn. As soon I was about to eat my delicious food I call BBQP someone texts me. Why do people always text at the wrong time?

"Hello, Makayla"

"Goodbye, Michael," I reply I hear my phone chime again but I don't pick it up I just continue eating and watching tv. Soon I get a phone call. And a really scary part on the movie just came on so I'm scared to answer it. I slowly pick up the phone and turn it over.

Oh, thank God, it was, Michael calling. Wait, ew not thank God I don't wanna talk to him. I hang up the phone and about 3 minutes later he calls back. I answer it clearly angry.

"What, MICHAEL!" I yell through the phone, but not loud enough for anyone else to hear.

"Why are you mad?" He asks.

"Stupid question... Why are you calling me?"

"I wanted to talk to you, and ask you this," He says. He takes a breather and begins talking again, "If you were to go on a date with anyone...what would you like to do?"

"Me? Hmmm? Maybe, I would like to do- but wait it's none of your bis."

"Okay, Makayla. I was just asking," He sounds so hurt.

"Okay, can I like hang up now I'm watching tv?" I say being to hang up.

"Wait, what are you watching?"

"Tv, that's what I'm watching. Bye Michael."

"Can I come over and watch tv with you?"

"No."

"Fine, can I take you... to get ice cream tomorrow maybe?"

"Uh no."

"Please, Makayla, it's only ice cream no date no nothing. I just want hang out with you."

"I do not wanna hang out with you, also there's school tomorrow."

"So, after school"

"Still nope," I hang up in his face. I continue watching tv.

It's morning so now I have to pick out my clothes. I should really do this at night.

I pick out a plain black V-neck T-shirt and some blue jeans with big rips and my high black combat boots. I go in the bathroom and brush my teeth, wash my face, and do my hair. When I walk downstairs I see Adam asleep on the couch. He doesn't have to come to school because where he lived they were on break, so he'll either sign into my school or- I don't even know. I walk to the kitchen and grab a strawberry milk and I head out.

When I walk into school I see people giving me dirty looks. Different from the looks I used to get.

"Hey!" A guy name Lucas comes up to me. He's a bully too, "Wanna go to a movie or something later?"

"With you? No," I say and walk off. I feel so cool right now. I leave him standing there dumbfounded. I go to my first period and take my seat.

"Hey," A girl named lexi says.

"Who are you talkin' to?" I say as I raise an eyebrow.

"You, silly," She says.

"Last time I checked, you were bullying me also. Take that fake shit somewhere else," I tell her. Once I say that she turns and shuts up.
