I have a confession to make.

I'm not over Regulus's death.

It's been literal months since I wrote it, and I still have moments where I go to start a chapter and I have a whole paragraph written about Regulus before I realize he's gone.

I miss the ickle sodcake quite a lot.

You might've noticed, given the sheer volume of Regulus side-stories and plot lines that are still circulating (like this whole deal with Peter and the Portrait... and of course our Christmas Regrose story which I'm so sad will soon be completed). Regulus is fascinating to me and the more I think about him, the more his character draws me in and the more I have to say for him and through him. He deserves so much better than the canon ever gave him.

Hopefully this little visit back in time will give him some of the good things that he deserves... and perhaps kindle a spark for Sirius and the Marauders as well.
