The sands of death rode swirling past

We pray the night our souls should last

But lives are lost and souls have payed

What's left for us to do but pray

A wind of fate and dark lined fear

We cannot speak, can only hear

A death, foreboding blankness looms

The singing voice, Thanatos, Croons

With night and stars the sky has turned

The sun again shall ne'er burn

And with a halt of life and breath

We fear we've lost to Hell and Death.
