"so you think this will go well" a man in a lab coat says to another man

"I believe so. The readings are normal, we just need to test it then we'll know if it's possible to send a human another dimension" the other man in the lab coat was raz, he was known to take risks and people said he was smart but had bad intentions. He had put people through his "experiments" normally criminals he tests the body and tests how physics work.

The man next to him the one who started the conversation was his brother, Zak "what If this doesn't work" he questioned his brother

"It's another criminal biting the dust" he said blankly as he looked at the machine he had been trying to go to different universes alternative one's it was something he queried back when he was young.

A criminal was brought to the machine as raz stared blankly at the machine then the criminal "start it up Zak"

Zak rolled his eyes "a please would be nice" he said starting it up

The criminal was shaking "i didn't do it. i don't deserve this" he repeated to himself  as the guards ignored him

Zak set up another machine next to it and linked the two together "it's ready"

Raz nods "right let's begin" he said as the guard tired pushing the criminal in

"NO DON'T DO THIS I DON'T DESERVE THIS" the criminal yelled as raz had no emotion in him to care as the machine absorbed him

Zak started flipping switches "it's stable for now" he said looking at his brother as he looked at the other machine

"Right now we wait" he said looking at it for about 5 minutes then the criminal came through he looked different longer hair shaking scared he looked older "w-where am i... Am i back"

Raz had a questioning look "he's different" he mumbled as he worte notes down

Zak sighed "I'll check the test subject sir to see how he was effected" raz nodded not looking at his brother "Raz sir do you think this is right"

Raz looked at Zak "you've asked me this a million times you know the answer"

Zak nods "nothing is right everything is broke"

Raz nods and signaled him to go off
