14 | Confused

Just because I don't show it,
Doesn't mean I don't feel it.

Jimin

ONCE I REACHED MY apartment building, I decided to have a seat at the lobby for a quick few minutes. I had a frustrated expression plastered on my face as I muttered something to myself. "What was I thinking?!" I hissed then spread my arms wide on the couch boarder.

I was acting too kind to her just now and she may think that I trust her enough to show her my soft side. I groaned before noticing there was a man who worked as a receptionist at my apartment building was looking at me. He probably found it odd that I suddenly wanted to have a seat at the main lobby.

"What are you looking at?" I asked with my grumpy face. He quickly turned away.

I set both of my hands to caress my hair back before flashing back what had happened a few minutes ago.

The way she ran towards the guy named Taehyung— she looked so happy. Happier than when she was with me, I could say. I saw joy and happiness when her eyes was plastered on his figure, as if he means the world to her. And, I wonder who he was.

She told me that he was just her best friend. But I didn't think that a best friend should be that close. Especially because they're different genders. I tended to believe that the both of them were more than just best friends.

He looked more like her boyfriend for me. The way he wrapped his hands around her waist. I kinda wanted that. I was curious. How does it feel to have a friend? To have a person who will listen to all my problems, to have a person who understands you more than your family members— no.

"That's such a stupid thoughts," I whispered to myself while ruffling my hair in mess. "I don't what have gotten into me since I met that girl. Weird things and feelings frequently hunt me lately. "Gosh Jimin, what's wrong with you?" I talked to myself.

The next moment Jimin left, Taehyung hurriedly brought Heiji to the cafe they had always go to spend time together. However, he noticed something strange about Heiji. She kept looking away as if she was searching for something, or someone.

Placing his hands onto the table elegantly, he began to speak. "What are you trying to find? Does it have anything to do with that guy?" He asked and Heiji finally moved her attention back to him.

"H-huh? Are we talking about Jimin?"

He sighed. "I knew it. You've been thinking of him since the past few minutes. Why? Who is him? Don't tell me that you've finally got yourself a boyfriend." He teased her.

Hearing that, Heiji quickly stepped on his shoe that was gently placed right across her feet. "Gosh," he looked at Heiji in disbelief. "These are new." He complained but Heiji didn't seem to bother about it.

"You were the one who asked for it," she scoffed.

As soon as he watched what Heiji just did, he blurted his thoughts out loud. "I wonder what happened to you when I wasn't around," he stated, "You seem to be sarcastic way too often now. First you stepped on my shoe, and just now you just scoffed at me."

His observing skills was impressing. It explained why he was chosen to be a police. Heiji gritted her teeth.

"I wonder who's this person— the person you adapted their personality from." He chuckled.

Heiji gritted her teeth. "Shut up, Tae."

He was pissed off because he was feeling emotional.
But it wasn't the emotion that was pissing him off.
It was because he didn't know what kind of emotion he was feeling.

He looked down at his phone while dialling for someone's number. I bet you already knew who it was. Well, it was Yoongi; the only person he talked to at the moment besides Heiji.

Yoongi answered the call but he stayed quiet because usually, Jimin would speak first. But this time, he didn't say anything.

There was a few seconds of silence.

"You aren't okay, aren't you?" he guessed and it seemed like he was right because Jimin didn't even answer him. There was only silence.

He sighed. "Do you want me to see you?" He asked.

"Hm," he finally responded to him.

"Aight, I'll be at your place in 15 minutes."

"So now, tell me. What's wrong?" He went straight to the point to know what was going on with him. Cause based on what he knows, Jimin wasn't the type who would act this way in front of people.

Even after throwing a question to him, he still didn't seem like he would answer. And that made Yoongi sighed in defeat.

"You know what? Just take your time. You're hard to be read anyways." He blurted before turning away from him.

For Yoongi, Jimin was always hard to be read. His expressions are unreadable.

Its been a while since Yoongi was annoyed with Jimin. He moved his gaze away from Jimin then stared out of the window.

There was about 5 minutes of silence as Jimin found himself was struggling to figure out what was he exactly feel. The feelings— and emotions weren't familiar to him. He had never felt like this before. Plus, the feeling was making him kinda uneasy.

He sighed. "I'm being attacked by various of feelings at once," he looked at the elder, Yoongi. "But it's not what's worrying me. It's just that— I don't fucking know what emotion am I feeling," he complained.

"I am— confused with my own emotions," his voice trailed off as the feelings were so overwhelming for him.

On the other hand, Yoongi just listened to his complaints quietly, as if he was trying to bring up a conclusion. "For the first time?" He randomly asked, which made Jimin to look at him with full of confusion on his face. He had never looked at anyone with confusion before. The only expression he showed before was only seriousness and fierceness.

But now, Yoongi got to see him confused. Just like a kid. He chuckled quietly.

"What do you mean?"

"I've never seen you being so confused by your feelings before. You'd either just shrug it off or keep them by yourself. But now, look at you. You're half mad at your own emotions. Isn't it surprising for a matured man like you to still can't figure out his feelings?" Yoongi scoffed slightly. "But I think I know what that is. The feelings you're feeling," he looked at Jimin with a small smirk.

Jimin didn't say anything because he kinda knew what Yoongi was going to say. But he was unsure.

He chuckled. "Love." He smirked. "I noticed that you've started to love that girl. That nurse girl, huh? You got yourself a good one." He commented casually although he knew how Jimin would react next. He raised an eyebrow when Jimin didn't reply to him and just kept staring. "Why are you looking at me like that?"

He scoffed. "Love, you said?" His expression changed before standing up. "That's the most pathetic word I've ever heard." He marked before walking into his room to clean his messy mind.

"Pathetic? Let's see when you're madly in love with her one day."

"I demand all of you to get that fucking Park Jimin for me now!" The well known mafia leader, Lee Ruan was throwing a temper to the people who work for him.

All of his people just stayed quiet, hands were sweating and none of them were brave enough to say a word. Lee Ruan wasn't the type of a leader who would listen to his people's plead.

"I want you to bring him to me by tonight or else." He glared at every each of his people and not even a single one of them wanted to make an eye contact with him except for his loyal bodyguard who had been working for him for almost 10 years. He was the most loyal follower of Lee Ruan. "What's wrong?" His voice was lowered a bit because he knew that his bodyguard had something crucial to tell him.

He looked down for a quick second before continuing the eye contact between him and his boss. "We've tried our best to trace him, boss. One of our people have found him but he was very quick in escaping himself. I also heard that he has one of the best guns so— it's quite hard for us to get him." He confessed the truth.

"I also got an info that—" he glanced at his boss who was listening in silence. But he could clearly see the tense on his face as he was thinking about Jimin. "He's not as weak as we think he is. He used to work for our enemy, Jacky. He is one of Jacky's most trusted people and from what I've heard, Park Jimin is very skillful and tricky." He finished his sentence.

Ruan sighed in hustle. He was forcing himself to come up with an idea. Then, he looked at his bodyguard. "I don't care what it takes. Bring him to me by tonight." He gritted his teeth before walking away.

"That old man is so stubborn," one of his people mumbled very slowly to prevent him from hearing a word.

"Hey, slow down. Are you okay?" Taehyung quickly rubbed Heiji's back as she suddenly choked on her food while eating her dinner. "Here, drink this." He handed her a glass of water to make her stop choking.

"I told you to eat slowly, don't eat like a pig," he scoffed as he slowly let her go once she stopped choking.

Her face turned slightly red after the struggles she went through just now. "Yah, stop comparing me to a pig," she rolled her eyes at him before wiping her mouth with a napkin.

She tried to stable her breath before starting to just stay quiet when Taehyung was talking to her. He noticed that she wasn't focusing on what he was saying and she was probably in another world.

He sighed before waving his hand in front of her face. "Heiji, you aren't listening. Why?" He was concerned.

Blinking her eyes, she shrugged her shoulders as she didn't have any answer for his question. "I don't know. I just— feel uneasy for no reasons, as if something is about to happen." she told him.

"Hm?" He paused. "Why?" He was clueless. "Does it have something to do with that Jimin guy?" He asked randomly. But it made her more worried thinking of Jimin.

She knew that Jimin was a type of a guy who's fearless and will do anything he wants. She was worried that something might happen to him.

And she had that one weird feelings where she was scared of the fact that she couldn't be there for him if he gets hurt. She sighed. "I don't know. But I hope he's doing all right."

"Jimin," Yoongi called out after receiving a text from an unknown. He walked towards Jimin who was looking at his tab as he had a worried expression on his face. "Look," he handed his phone to him. Jimin was clueless at first but he could sense that something wasn't right.

He took the phone from Yoongi and read the text.

Although the text kinda surprised him, he still managed to remain calmed and steady. He took a deep breath before looking up to Yoongi.

"I knew he would do this." He stated. "Don't worry. I'll meet him." He casually told him as if it was something he can take slightly.

Yoongi had his eyes widened this time. He knew that Jimin was that type of a person who will stay calmed and steady in any situations. But for him, he shouldn't be so relaxed right now.

He scoffed in disbelief. "Are you insane? You're dealing with Lee Ruan. You can't take this as if it's just a joke." He blurted out his concerns.

But Jimin didn't seem like he would take any of his words. He just stayed silent while munching on his crackers.

Yoongi sighed. "You're still gonna meet him, aren't you?" He muttered under his breath.

"You don't say anything so it means yes. Okay then. Don't say I didn't warn you." He walked away.
