Chapter 33: They're All The Same!!

"Haruhi...I can't do this." A weak, timid voice came floating out from behind a nearby curtain. "I'm going to be sick..." The curtain was trembling violently as Haruhi stalked toward it and pulled it open to revel Camille standing there with her eyes wide and glassy with tears. Her face was as pale as the white dress she wore, making the light dusting of freckles against her skin more prominent.

"You'll do fine! Now get out here and do this! I didn't wear a dress for nothing." Haruhi grumbled and gripped the older female's wrist, dragging her out of the curtained area and down the hall that was attached to the room they were in. The sound of their dresses rustling against each other as they walked was the only sound that filled the silence that had grown between them after the exchange.

Camille was left to her thoughts of anxiety while Haruhi was full of determination to get this done as quick as possible. Not for the sake of getting the whole ordeal over with, but because she wanted out of the teal colored dress she had been asked to wear. The dress was not that bad, but she was not really happy about having to be seen as a girl when she would have felt more comfortable in a tux like the rest of the guys.

"Haruhi...Thank you. You've helped me through a lot since I've come here and I'll never be able to thank you enough for putting up with me and getting me through everything." Camille said shakily, breaking the silence as they stopped in front of the wooden double doors. Her eyes were still teary and she looked like she was about to start crying at any second.

Haruhi smiled at her and gave her a reassuring hug,"That's what friends do. I know you would have done the same for me." She pulled back to grasp the redhead's wrists lightly,"Now get in there and do this. I want out of this dress as soon as possible."

"Aw, I thought you liked it." Camille mock pouted before her lips broke into a grin as she giggled at the exasperated brunette. Her nerves were eased a bit by the exchange, but were slowly trickling back as Haruhi opened the doors and made her way between all of the seats toward the back of the large room. Her heart fluttered in her chest as she gripped the long, white dress and exhaled slowly.

Her eyes trailed up from where her feet were to slowly survey the people who were sitting in the seats she would have to walk through. On one side was her mother and father while on the other side was quite a few people that were related to Kyoya in some way or knew his family. All of them were there to see this through. There was no turning back from this now and Camille knew that as she stepped into the room as the music started.

"CAMILLE!!!! WAKE UP!"

The petite redhead jolted awake and looked around with half-lidded eyes at all the people staring at her. She looked down at her white sundress before looking to her right at Kyoya who wore a concerned expression. "Sorry, I guess I've been pretty tired lately. What did I miss?"

"Well, you missed the rehearsal for the toasts and a few other minor things. Are you okay? You've been really tired lately and  falling asleep in the middle of something important isn't something you would normally do." He spoke to her quietly, letting the others go back to talking among themselves as the couple sorted out whatever issue they were having. He looked genuinely concerned and that was speaking volumes because he rarely showed this much emotion in front of others, saving it for when they were alone.

"I'm fine. I am just feeling a little sick and tired. I'll be okay for tomorrow, I promise." She smiled and placed a hand on his reassuringly. To tell the truth, she was not sure if she would be okay. She had gradually gotten to where she was sluggish all the time and it had started shortly after their graduation. Now they were on the eve of their wedding and she was feeling the worse she ever felt in her life.

"If you're sure, but you'll tell me if you don't feel right...Right?" He asked before lacing their fingers together, his thumb running over the back of her hand. He only stopped the soothing motion when he received a nod from her. "Okay everyone! I think we are set for tomorrow. You are dismissed. Don't forget to be here tomorrow at noon to begin last minute preparations and to get ready." He announced before standing up and turning to Camille once more. "Let's get you home so you can rest, sleeping beauty." He said with a smirk before pulling her up and leading her to the door before anyone could stop them.

----------

"Camille? Come on! Open the door!" A violent banging came from the other side of the door as Kyoya continually beat on it. He had been standing outside of it for the past thirty minutes threatening to kick the door down if she did not open it.

How could she open it? She was sitting on the cold tiles of the bathroom floor in a stunned daze as her wide eyes traveled over all of the little plastic pieces that were laying out around her in various places as if she had picked up each one and tossed it back down. There was no way she was going to be able to move from that spot unless something snapped her out of it because she felt as if she could not breathe while her heart thundered in her ears.

Finally getting tired of banging on the door, Kyoya kicked it loose and swung it open. He scanned the small bathroom slowly before his eyes traveled downward to the stunned female he had been yelling at. Her head finally shot up and her wide eyes met his own. He ripped his gaze away from her long enough to see what she was doing before his eyes landed on all of the plastic pieces thrown about the floor, his eyes widening behind his glasses before snapping back to her's.

"They...They all say the same thing..." She murmured in a soft monotone voice before she repeated it a couple more times. Her hands reached out to grasp a handful of them, bringing them up between them. "They all say the same damn thing, Kyoya! How could this happen?!" Her voice was starting to reach that frantic tone that trickled in before she threw herself into an anxiety attack.

Knowing what would happen next if he did not calm her down, Kyoya rushed forward to grasp her wrists and pull her to him. The plastic pieces fell from her hands to clatter to the floor as he hugged her to him and buried his face in her hair as she tried to calm her breathing.

The plastic pieces in question? They were all positive pregnancy tests that she had taken after they had gotten home from the rehearsal dinner and that following morning. Now they were an hour away from going to the church to begin getting ready and she was freaking out about something other than messing up her vows.

"We can do this. It's sooner than expected, but we can do this." He reassured her quietly as she sobbed as the shock wore off. She was happy deep down inside, but she was more scared than anything. She was going to be responsible for something that would fully depend on her and her husband-to-be.

"I hope you're right..."
