Chapter 15: I Have No Choice
Camille crossed her arms and shut her eyes, heaving a sigh as she sat back in her chair. She had come to the host club in an attempt to tell them what was going on with her and her disappearance only to find something she was not all too happy about. She dug her nails into her arms slightly as she tried to push away the thoughts of what had happened upon coming into the club room.
Flashback- 20 minutes prior
She was nervously walking with Kyoya and Tamaki to the club room, her eyes downcast as she held her bag in her right hand while her left gripped the skirt of her yellow uniform. Tamaki was talking animatedly about something and oblivious to the fact that both her and Kyoya were blocking him out.
Upon coming to the doors to the abandoned music room they used to house their Host Club, the doors flew open and a flash of brown whipped past her and Kyoya to attach itself to Tamaki. Camille stumbled back into Kyoya who fumbled to keep her upright, surprised by her falling into him. She looked up at him slowly and blushed deeply at how close her face was to his when she tilted her head back to look up at him. Kyoya looked surprised for a few moments before composing himself and setting her firmly on her feet.
"I'm sorry Kyoya." Camille said quietly and then turned her attention to Tamaki and the person who had shoved her backwards in their haste to talk to him. She had expected to see a girl that sat with Tamaki during club hours, but was astonished to see Haruhi laughing up at him and blushing as the obviously flirted.
A surge of annoyance and jealousy overwhelmed her to the point of glaring daggers in their direction, her body turning away from them while her feet carried her on behind Kyoya into the club room. She followed him to the back where he normally situated himself and took up a spare chair, looking over at her classmate once she was situated. "What happened while I was gone to make that happen?"
Kyoya shrugged and pushed his glasses up, obviously just as annoyed as she was. "I'm not sure, but it has made him more of an idiot than before."
That was how Camille found herself sitting in the back of the club room with Kyoya for the first twenty minutes of her time back after class. Mori, Honey, Hikaru, and Kaoru all looked like they wanted to talk to her or greet her in some way but found themselves scared off by her grumbling. One of the twins even remarked that she was so angry that there was steam threatening to rise out of her head.
Her red-brown eyes opened to look across the room at Tamaki before her eyes traveled over to Haruhi where she was blushing as she talked to a group of girls. They were hiding something and it made her infuriated. First Tamaki acted like he did while they had went out on the trip to Colorado. Now he was practically shoving his tongue down Haruhi's throat. It was like they were trying to play down their relationship now because they noticed she was there finally.
"If that's the case, they won't have to worry about it any more. I'm leaving soon." She said under her breath and then looked over at Kyoya. He looked like he was deep in thought about something and it caused her to become curious. "Hey Kyoya...what's wrong? You look so tense that you're going to snap like an overused hair tie." She sounded concerned, but held a bit of humor in her tone as she finished her statement.
He looked over at her and she caught a glimpse of something rare. Raw emotion. Kyoya looked like he was deeply troubled about something and it caused her to inhale sharply, her eyes looking toward the others before she stood up and grabbed him by his sleeve to drag him into the adjoining kitchen.
"Okay, spill. What's got you so worked up?" She said with a demanding tone. Her hands balled themselves into fists and rested themselves on her hips as she looked up at him.
He was silent for a few moments before looking at her once more. He wore a subdued version of his previous expression,"Is it true that you're leaving?"
Camille found herself deflating a bit. She had not expected her to be the cause of his change in demeanor. She looked downward and started to play with a piece of skin next to her nail that had been bothering her all day. "Yes. My parents want me to move back home to resume school there." Her voice was soft and slightly broken sounding.
Silence came from the boy in front of her for such a long time that she thought maybe he had left. Her eyes slowly raised at the same time that Kyoya grabbed her wrist and pulled her into him. She found her face buried in his chest and his arms wrapped around her in a vice-like grip. It was a few moments before she found her body relaxing in his arms and tears welling up in her eyes. "I'm sorry. They are making me leave. I don't have a choice. If I leave they will cut me off and I won't be able to keep up expenses to sustain myself."
He was silent as he hugged her, letting her cry into his chest and let it all out. She was sobbing almost uncontrollably without even meaning to. It made her wonder when she had gotten to the point where leaving these people would break her to the point of being reduced to how she had been the day she lost her brother.
"We'll figure something out. I'm not letting you go so easily." Kyoya sounded adamant as he spoke into her ear and let her continue to cry.

Sorry for the feels, but I felt like this chapter had to happen to move the story along. The next chapter should be better.
