Aditi's point of view

I frown when I looked at my essay answers sheet which Dhruv has checked last night. I could only see red remarks in every essay I have written.

"Dhruv aap intni hard marking kyon kerte hai ki hum apna confidence hi loose ker dete hai. Aise to hum apna mains bhi nahi de payenge.", I said looking at who was driving the car with a soft chuckles. It's Sunday and we both are going to my in-laws house for a lunch. Last night after I slept I don't know when Dhruv has checked my eassy answer sheets which were pending from last week and I got disappointed seeing such low marks.

(Dhruv whu do you keep such hard marking? I don't think I could give my mains exam.)

"You are doing great just you always missed some important points and I need to do hard marking so you could write better.", He said while chuckling softly and shake his head in amusement.

"and how could you be so sure?", I asked turning to him.

"Because I have checked your essays from the start so I know you you are doing great and till the mains come you will be perfect.", He said while taking the left turn.

I sumg on his comment and said, "You are talking about mains? I am not even sure about my prelims.",

"Stop doubting yourself and could you please put those sheet away? You are only looking at them since you set inside the car.", I was about to oppose when he snatched those answer sheets from my hand and put them on the back seat while fixing his eyes on the road.

We have reached to my in-laws house. Dhruv parked the car outside the house and I started having memories of last time when I was thrown in the rain in-front of servents. How I was humiliated and hurt my self respect.

My heart was beating faster and with heavy heart I stepped down from the car while looking at the house. The memories are still fresh like it happened yesterday. It maybe easy for someone to apologise of their deeds but it is not easy for the one whose self-respect was hurt. I don't know if I could ever accept it's my house because now I don't feel welcome here. It's not my house anymore. My house was that one BHK apartment where I live with my husband.

"Aditi, let's go..", Dhruv come beside me and asked me to come but I stick on my place looking at the house, having that memory lane again.

How would I am going to face those servents who witnessed when Anuradha aunty put allegations on me of sleeping with many man..She called me whore. Since morning I was trying to divert my mind in other things so I could have a smile on my face when we come here but when I am finally here, I can't help but having those thoughts again and again.

"What happened...?", Dhruv looked at me with concern. I looked at him andshake my head slowly.

"Let's go...", I gave him sad smile and make a move to go inside but Dhruv stopped me. He hold my hand and pull me closer to him.

"Since morning you were try to divert your mind. That essay answers sheets was one of them. I know the memories of the the last time are still fresh in your mind and we won't go inside if you don't want to.", He said looking at me intensely. I looked down and tears drop from my eyes. How could I forget that he knows me too well.

"Dhruv it's not easy for me to forget everything. A sorry can not give me my self respect back which was ruined by Anuradha aunty in-front of whole servants. A sorry can not fix the allegations she has put me in. It's not like that I don't wanted to forgive her. I wanted do, I swear on you but it's not easy to forgive her. I may not look at her the same way I used to do. I always try to find my mother in her but now it's not easy.", I said while wiping my tears and looked at him. He came closer and wipe the fresh tears with his thumb which are just fall from my eyes.

"Time will heal everything. Let's go back to our home.", He said while caressing my cheek lovingly.

He didn't even give a second thought and ready to go back our home because of me. This man love me so much that he was ready to leave his family for me. I put my hand on his which was on my cheek and hold it firmly.

"You are right time will heal everything but I don't want to be the reason that you stay away from your family. I know how much they love you and you also care for them. I know it's going to be tough but I want to face it. I want to give a second chance to Anuradha aunty.", I am not sure if I am ready to give her a second chance but for Dhruv I can try everything.

"Don't worry, I'll be your side.", I clised my eyes when he leaned and kissed on my forehead. He hold my hand and we both headed inside the house. When we both entered into the living room which was attached to the main entrance, smile spread on everyone's face. They all approached us and welcome us whole heartedly but Dhruv did not leave my hand. Raghav and his family also present.

"You finally came. I was waiting for both of you.", Anuradha aunty says. I bent down nd touched her feet. Unlike last time she blessed me and took me in a hug. Dhruv also took blessings and hugged his mom.

"You both look so beautiful together.", She praised us which bring smile on our faces.

"Thankyou aunty.", I thanked her.

"No aunty, call me mummy just like Nikita call me.", She caressed my head lovingly. I know it's gonna take time to adjust in this new environment where I feel welcome from each family member, especially from Anuradha aunty or mummy from now own.

"Oh! dear where were. I have asked Raghav to bring you at home for lunch or dinner but he was always busy. Thank God I finally meet you after so long.", Raghav's mummy took me in a motherly hug and I feel the motherly warmth. Whenever I met her she always treets me like I am her real daughter even she shouted on Raghav if he teased. I never feel such motherly love from anyone but from her I feel like I can sleep in her lap and talk about my life.

"I am sorry aunty but I will visit you soon.", I said while breaking the hug and she caressed my head like a mother. All the time Dhruv and Raghav hve a smile on their faces when they looking at me and Raghav's mother.

"You both stay here I'll come soon.", Anuradha mummy said and went to the temple. She bring a Arti thal with her and did my and Dhruv's arti. Tears brim into my eyes seeing this. She came forward and did tilak of me and Dhruv but when she noticed tears on my eyes she wiped them.

"What I have done with it is nothing in front of this. You deserves the grand welcome.", I could not take it more and I hugged her.

"Thankyou for accepting me.", I said while breaking the hug.

"I should have accepted you earlier but I was a fool.", She chuckled which makes me smile between my tears. Dhruv and I both welcomed with warm hugs and love. We all settled in the livingroom while I join Divya and Nikita bhabhi in the kitchen to help them. Anuradha mummy tried to stopped me but I want to keep my mind occupied so that day did not play in my mind again and again.

"So did you guys continue what you left on your date night because of us.", Nikita bhabhi teas me while bumping her shoulder to me which brings a blushing smile on my face and my cheeks turned red.

"I know Dhruv bhiya, he never left anything in between. He is very dedicated to finish what he started once.", Divya also teased me and I just can't help but keep blushing and smile.

"He loves me so much.", I said while looking down and tuck my loose strand to my ear.

"Is that a ring...?", Divya hold my hand and looked at the ring.

"It's pretty...", Nikita bhabhi said looking at the ring.

"Dhruv gave it me last week. He proposed me and asked me to marry him again.", I said while looking at ring with so much love

"I can't believe Dhruv can be this romantic. When I met him first time he looked distant. I always discussed about this Nikhil but you have changed him completely.", Nikita bhabhi said looking between the ring and me.

"I know from the start that my best friend is heavenly gorgeous even Dhruv bhiya can't resist her.", Divya looked at me so proudly. Sometimes I feel like she is like more my sister than Dhruv. After we patchup again she always take my side. After having a little chit chat we served the lunch on the dinning table and everyone joined in the dinning table. All the food either it was Dhruv's favourite or my favourite.

Raghav's mom was all behind Raghav to get him marry soon. She keep talking about the girl she wants as her daughter-in-law. Actually she doesn't have any perticular choice she just want her son to get marry soon and to be a girl in perticular which made all of us choked on our food and laugh while Raghav just keep giving a look to his mother.

"By the way Divya if you single will you please be my daughter-in-law.", Raghav's mother said qhile looking at Divya but Divya's expression turns horrific like she has seen a ghost.

"Mummy you are forgetting that why we are here. Shell we focus on that first.", Raghav said to his mummy.

"Yes, Rita why you always behind our son for marriage. He will marry when the right time come.", Raghav's father said.

"Fine you both father and son are same.", His mother huffed and everyone broke into laugh.

After lunch we all settled in a livingroom. I set beside Dhruv as I still have this unknown feeling inside me which I can't ignore. Little Rayansh was playing with his toys without worrying anything.

"Aditi sign on these papers.", Raghav put some paper in-front of us and Dhruv and I looked at them confusingly. Dhruv pick them and read the documents.

"Adoption papers?", He asked to Raghav looking at him confusingly.

"Aditi dear, Dhruv beta, we all have decided to remarry you guys again with eachother as the last time none of us were there expect Raghav and you both did not have any wedding rituals and welcome in this house. We all want you to start your new life by remarry again with all the rituals.", Anuradha mummy said which made Dhruv and I shock a little but from inside I was feeling the butterflies inside my stomach. Yes, Dhruv and I was planning to remarry again but we planned it very simple in a tample only both of us.

"I always wanted a daughter but because of some complications on Raghav's time I can not have another baby. As the time pass I dig this wish of mine deep inside my heart. But when Raghav bring you at our house for the first time I was so happy, Raghav told me that you are like her sister but he also told me that you don't have any family so that time I decided that I will adopt you and we will be your family.", Raghav's mummy said while looking at me with motherly love.

"But if you want us to remarry again then why adoption?", Dhruv asked.

"We want to do Aditi's kanyadaan. We want Aditi also feels that she has a parents whom she can go and hug them while bitching about the world.", Tears welled up in my eyes with a smilw on my lips when Raghav's father said looking at both of us.

"So after signing those papers, Aditi has to live with us nd you have to come to our house with your family, ask my sister's hand and I will be hard on you like other brothers do. When I would satisfy with you that you gonna make happy my sister after that only I will let you marry her.", Raghav said like a proud brother which made me chuckle softly.

"No way, I won't let Aditi go anywhere. I don't want remarry again. We are already married.", Dhruv declined.

"Shut up bhiya, you already proposed Aditi to remarry her. You are denying because you don't want to live without her.", Divya made her face.

"It's not like that. Aditi have a main exam for UPSC. She would be disturb from her studies. I am sorry but I can't allow this.", Dhruv disagree with all of them.

"But Prilims result is also not out yet.", I speak in a low voice looking at him but he glared me the next moment which made me bite my both cheeks to suppress my laugh.

"Aditi you don't know anything. I am sure you will clear the prilims so you should prepare for mains without any distraction.", He said looking at me and winked at me to play along with him.

"Dhruv you don't worry about that. I will help Aditi to prepare for her mains.", Raghav said while smirking and Dhruv shooted him glare.

"Dhruv stop making excuses. I also want to dance in your barat so agree with us.", Nikhil bhiya said.

"Also I wnt to wear beautiful dresses in my brother and bestfriend's wedding. You can not snatch this right from me.", Divya looked Dhruv with her angry eyes.

"Dhruv please agree.", Anuradha mummy looked at him with pleading.

Dhruv huffed and nodded his head, "Okay...but I have one condition please plan this marriage within a week..I can't let her away from me more than a week."

"Don't worry about all of this..I already asked pandit ji and ge said that you can marry in this wedding season within this week.", Gautam uncle said with a smile.

"...and don't worry about the vancat hall. Government has allocated Raghav a big mansion. We can have your wedding from our house itself.", Raghav's father said.

"Aditi please sign the papers.", Raghav's mummy said to me. I looked at Dhruv and he nodded his head. I took the pen and signed those papers with a smile on my lips. Now I also have a paternal family where I was being loved by my parents. I would have a brother who already can give his life to protect me. I have a loving husband and loving in-laws. At this point of my life I don't want anything more. I am the most richest person in the world.

It was already evening. Sun was set to the west and streets lights were illuminating the roads. Date were fixed of Dhruv and my wedding. Next Sunday we both are getting married and all the wedding rituals will organised accordingly.

Dhruv was ordered by his parents to live with them until he got marry to me again after that we both can move to our apartment. He agreed with a sulking face. He was pissed because for one week we have to live apart. I am going to Raghav's place for whole week but we will meet everyday for every ritual.

When I was leaving for Raghav's place Dhruv got upset. I can see that in his eyes. He let me go reluctantly. I was feeling the same but I was excited at the same time as I am going to my foster home and I am going to marry Dhruv with all rituals. When we reached Raghav's place, I was welcomed with lots of pops and shots. A room was allotted to me and Raghav and now my parents sit with me and they have a lot of talk.

Dhruv called me but Raghav did not let me attend his call even he picked up his call and strictly instructed him, he is not allowing to call me for late night. I was laughing when Dhruv was shouting on the other side of the phone and ordered Raghav to give me the phone but Raghav didn't give me the phone even he took my ohone with him so Dhruv can not talk to me.

Morning came and Raghav's mummy come to my room to wake me up with love that I almost had tears in my eyes to see motherly love for me for thw first time. Today Dhruv and his family is coming to our house for the dinner to do our rokka and engagement together.

I have tried to call Dhruv since morning but he was not picking up his call. Eventually I call Shastri ji and he told he went somewhere with Raghav. I don't know now what Dhruv and Raghav is planning against Rahul as he is already behind the bars and opposition party marching against him, ruining his reputation. It's all over in the news how Rahul rapped a girl and how much he has the black money.

Evening come soon and Rita maa, Raghav's mummy gave me a beautiful lehnga to wear it at evening. I got ready before the time and only looking at the clock without a blink waiting for Dhruv to come. Only I know how tough it was to spend a day without hearing his voice.

I heard the car honked and I ran to the balcony. Two cars tow cars entered in the lawn of the mansion and stopped infront of the main entrance. Rita maa, Anil uncle and Raghav was standing there to welcome them.

Nikhil bhiya, Nikita bhabhi, Dhruv's parents and Rayansh step down from the car and Divya came out from Dhruv's car. My heart started beating faster when Dhruv's cars driver seat door open and Dhruv came out from the car wearing the blue tuxedo, looking all handsome. He passes smile to Raghav's parents and touched their feets. Raghav and him both shared a hug and they all welcome them inside the house.

I ran inside the room and looked at myself in the mirror. I was glowing with happiness. Just like every girl dream this kind of marriage, I am going to have one and today is the beginning. I heard the knock on the door and Raghav and Rita maa walked inside.

"Come dear, it's time to go down.", Rita maa said motherly.

"Yes, Dhruv jija ji is being impatient. His eays are only looking for him. He didn't even paid attention what I have asked.", My cheeks turned into red when Raghav was talking about Dhruv.

"Yes because your questions are stupid. He asked him about his salary, like he doesn't know.", Rita maa gave him a look.

"Sooo....this is the valid question. I have to check if he earns enough money to take care of you or not!", He said while shrugging his shoulders.

"You are his best friend like from school times. You both crack the UPSC in same year. You are an IPS officer. You better know how much an IAS income is. Ofcourse it was an invalid question.", I said to him.

"What if he takes bribe?", Raghav tried to make his point while Rita maa and I both gave him a look.

"Huugghhh....women...", He groaned and then he took me to downstairs. We launged and then they took me to the downstairs. As I was stepping down from the stairs everyone's eyes moved to me. Dhruv stood from his seat and looked at me intensely.

All the time I have smile on my face when I was approaching everyone. Divya was about to approach me but Dhruv beat her. He walked to me and forward his hand to me. With a blushing smile I put my hand in his and he walked us to the couch. We both set on the couch, closer to each other.

"You are looking beautiful.", He whispered in my ears. My cheeks turn into red and I smiled while looking down after whispering a thankyou.

"We should start the rituals.", Anuradha mummy speaks and everyone agrees with her.

First Anil uncle come forward and did tilak of Dhruv after giving him some shagun. Ftee Anil uncle Rita maa and Raghav did his tilak. After that Dhruv's parents did my tilak and gave me Shagun. Divya was so happy among all of us. She was not leaving my side and continuously mentioning how she dreams of her bestfriend's wedding.

After that it was time for Dhruv and me to exchange our rings. Rita maa gave me a ring band for Dhruv which was simple yet so beautiful. I hold Dhruv's hand firmly and made him wear the ring which bring smile on his face when he looked at his engagement ring.

But when it's my turn to give him my hand it started shaking. I don't know why I am feeling nervous but it was naturally happining with me. Dhruv took my hand in his and looked at me. He rub his thumb over my knuckles to calm down me and slide down the simple ring band in my ring finger which has a three small diamond. After we exchange the ring everyone claps. Divya and Raghav clicked so many pictures of me and Dhruv in different posses and then we have our dinner. Dhuv wanted to spend sometime alone with me so he when everyone busy he asked me to meet him on the terrace and then leave from there.

When I reached to the terrace Dhruv was standing facing the ralling, both hands inside his trousers pockets and he was looking at the moon. He was looking handsome and hot in that dark blue tuxedo. My anklets tingle when I approached him. I slowly walked to him and hugged him from behind, taking a deep breath of his cologne.

"I miss you.", I whispered while leaning to him.

"Don't lie...", He hold my hand and made me face to him.

"You also wanted to come here, away from me.", He said and I chuckled softly.

"But you also wanted to marry me again.", I asked while encircling my arms around his neck and he put his hands on my waist and pulled me closer.

"I still want too but I can't bear this distance with us. It's killing me.", He said while caressing my cheek lovingly. I also pull down my hands fron his neck and out them on his chest.

"But I am liking it. This one week journey of us from engagement to marriage has its own beauty. These all rituals, mehndi, haldi sangeet I always wanted to experience this with you.", I said while looking into his eyes.

"You are forgetting one ritual..", He said with mischievous smile.

"What..?", I asked him in confusion.

"Suhagrat...", He teased me and I chuckled looking down and he pulled me closer to him.

"But we already did things.", I said looking at him.

"Yes but we never did it on our wedding night. So tell me you want roses or Lilyis in our bedroom.", He teased me again.

"I just want you without clothes.", His eyes turn wide when I say that to tease him.

"Nice, Mrs. Dhruv Malhotra, you are learning and don't worry about that we both won't wear clothes for next week atleast.", This time my eyes went wide when he went another level.

"Dddhrrvv...", I smacked on his chest and we both laughed. Dhruv took me in a hug and I give in in his warmth. We both stood there like this for some time but at the back of my head one thing was eating me. I broke the hug and looked at him. My face turned to tenced. He might senced it because his expression changed to concern.

"What happened..? What are you thinking?", He asked me while tucking a loose strand behind my ear.

"What you and Raghav is planning against Rahul? You already sent him to jail, and ruined his image and political career. What is left now?", I asked him.

"Justice is still not serve yet. If you are thinking that Rahul's chapter ends after sending him to jail and let court decide his punishment then you are highly wrong. He ruined your dignity. Mahabharat to hoker rahegi.", I saw rage in his eyes. His jaw was cleanched and eyes were red.

"Just be careful. I only have you.", I said while cupping his cheek.

"I will..", He kissed on my hand while looking at me.

He pulled me closer by my waist and leaned down towards my lips. My heart beats raise and my eyes get closed. I feel his hot breath on lips but before his lips could touch mine I put my palm on his lips.

"No kissing and touching till marriage.", I whispered and I can feel his irritation.

"Uugghhh...Adddiiiti....I am hating this process.", He groaned and put his head on my shoulder while I broke into laugh.

"Ooouch....", I winced in pin when he pinch on my waist.

"Don't laugh...."

Well this is going to be a long week for Mr Dhruv Malhotra.
