Chapter two
The two teachers looked down at the young girl in front of them with confusion. I mean how would you feel if a random girl caused sirens to go off, made a gate door go back up, jumped inside of this highly protected facility, got up then immanently fell down in pain from a broken ankle with sand around her, then passed out. But they were in a society where 80% of people had superhuman abilities, so pretty much anything could happen. As the two adults continued to stare slightly at the girl, more teachers and adults rushed out of the high school.
"What's going on?" Vlad King class 1B's homeroom teacher asked as he saw the two teachers.
"Yah, we heard the sirens go off." Midnight said as she saw that girl on the ground. "Is she the cause of this?"
"Is she a villain?" Cemtontoes asked.
"A VILLAIN BREAKING INTO UA!?" Present Mic asked while also causing everyone's ears to start bleeding.
"We're not quiet sure what this girl is doing here and if she's a villian or not. But whatever the cause is, she is injured and unconscious on school grounds. It would be best if we took her to Recovery Girl to get her all healed up, then ask her questions. Vlad do you mind taking her?" Nezu asked as the stronger male nodded picking up the girl in his arms. She winced in pain in her sleep as he had moved her ankle the wrong way by accident. "Also Aizawa do you mind watching her until she wakes up. We should just make sure that if she is a villain we have a way of keeping the students safe."
"Yah." Is all Aizawa responded with as he followed Vlad. He wasn't sure what the girl had done, and he wasn't really in the mood for it. But if it meant not having to work and maybe getting to sleep, he was all for it. That and he was interested in what this girl had to say.
Once the two heroes with purple haired girl in tow walked in to Recovery Girl's office she was very confused. This was someone that wasn't part of UA that had going injuries around the time someone had broken into UA. You couldn't blame her for being confused.
Aizawa explained to the older woman that the girl had injured herself jumping to avoid the gate that was going to crush her. He said that her ankle seemed to be broken from the way she fell and the sand that was surrounding her when she fell. Recovery Girl just sighed as she already knew that Midoriya had broken his arm again in their training with All Might. This was going to be a long day.
Vlad put the young girl down on a bed and left Aizawa and Recovery Girl to the girl. Aizawa sat in a chair next to the girl as Recovery Girl got to work. While the girl was unconscious, the school medics rolled in an unconscious Midoriya who had a broken arm.
The girl was unconscious for about three hours, which gave Aizawa time to relax. It was boring and not his favors thing in the world. But it could be worse. After about three hours the girl finally stir. By that I mean she woke up screaming like she did every morning. This startled everyone on the room, even waking up Deku.
Jikan looked around frantically scared and confused. When she looked to her left and saw Aizawa she looked like she was about to faint again. She seemed to recognize the secretive superhero.
"Wh-where a-am I?" Jikan stuttered very confused, scared, and nervous; very nervous. She had imagined being in this school and meeting amazing heroes, but not like this. Jikan didn't remember exactly how she ended up here and that scared her immensely.
"You're at UA dear." Recovery Girl replied sweetly as seeing the obviously frightened girl. This response caused the girl to start hyperventilating.
Deku looked at the girl somewhat understanding, he knew exactly how he felt when he got into the school. But imagine waking up in the place confused. He wanted to do something but wasn't even sure where this girl came from and why she was here. From the way Mr. Aizawa looked at her, no one knew anything about this girl.
"Okay enough of this small talk," Aizawa's hair floated up and eyes went red making sure to cancel the girl's quirk out. "Who are you and what are you doing here."
Now saying this in a stern voice with floating hair and red eyes might have scared most people. It sure scared Midoriya. But instead of being frightened like she usually was, Jikan stared at her favorite hero in amazement. Her eyes seemed to brighten and she forgot that she was hyperventilating just seconds ago.
"Wow! That's amazing!" This confused everyone else in the room.
"Um, do you mind answering his questions dear?" Recovery Girl asked.
"O-oh. My n-name is Jikan Miru. I r-really don't remember what I'm do-doing here." The girl said very shyly. "Wait!" She looked down at her perviously broken ankle in amazement.
"It wasn't too bad, I've seen much worse breaks." Recovery girl said giving a quick glance at Midoriya.
"Y-you fixed it?" She looked over to Recovery Girl and was shocked again. "Your Recovery Girl!"
"Well, yes dear I am." She was slightly flattered that the girl was so enthusiastic.
I seemed that the more Jikan looked at the two heroes in the room her eyes seemed to sparkle more. Her face lit up with amazement. She never thought she'd see these heroes up close, let alone talk to them. This was like a dream.
Aizawa's hair droppped and eyes returned back to not red. He just looked at the girl in confused.
"I'm going to guess you're not a villain." Aizawa asked in his bored tone. Jikan nodded somewhat confused.
"Wh-why did you think I was a villain?" She asked shyly.
"Well that's because you set of the alarms Ms. Miru." Nezu said as he walked into the room, causing the two hero fans' eyes to widen.
"Principal Nezu." Deku said in shock that he was here.
"Hello Midoriya, you seem to have broken your arm again I see. Well you seem to be feeling better. Do you mind leaving, if you are feeling better we would like to ask Ms. Miru some question." Nezu said as he approached Jikan's bed.
"Sure." Deku replied nervously as he got up from the bed and walked to the door. He have the girl a look of encouragement and opened the door with the arm not in a sling. Once the door was closed, the attention was back to Jikan.
She scrunched up into a ball as they starred at her. It seemed like her amazement disappeared once Principle Nezu entered the room. She seemed to start sweating from shyness.
"Now Ms. Miru, you don't happen to be related to the popular and fortunate Miru family?" Upon hearing her family name the girl started shaking.
"Yes." Jikan said in a voice barely above a whimper. "My parents are Olivia and Kichirou Miru, I am their se... I'm their child." She sounded very sad at the last part of the statement, causing Aizawa to rise an eyebrow.
"I see, why does my file say that you no longer live with them?" Looking up Jikan noticed that Nezu was holding a folder with information on her in it.
"That's because my parents dislike that I possessed a quirk," This idea somewhat shocked the adults. "They wanted me to be born quirkiness and when I manifested a quirk they gave me the option to leave or act like I was quirkless. Once I made my choice they... They abandoned me" Her voice was barely above a whisper, this seemed to be a very delicate subject.
"So what's your quirk anyway?" Aizawa asked plain out, the girl looked down at her hands almost in fear.
"Aizawa..." Recovery Girl wasn't sure how the young girl was going to react.
"It-it's called Hourglass. O-or th-that's at least what I-I call it." She took a deep breath trying to claim her nerves. "I can reverse or fast forward any object's time, like when I reversed the gates time back to before it came crashing down. I can only do this when sand I'm touching is touching the object and it only lasts about thirty seconds. I-I don't use my quirk that much though." Jikan explain in her usual soft tone but with a bit of stuttering and some tears.
At that moment the adults thought the same thing, for someone who claims to not use their quirk that much she had a great understanding of it. It was interesting for the three to hear the girl explain her quirk to them, a quirk that was very unique and could be very powerful if trained correctly. Something in this girl interested the teachers, especially Nezu and Aizawa. They could see that she didn't like her power, for whatever reason that might have been, but at the same time she loved the idea of it. They could see the spark of excitement when Aizawa used his quirk and when she found out that Recovery Girl had too.
"When may I leave?" Jikan asked quietly, hoping not to be rude.
"Recovery Girl, is her leg all healed?" Nezu asked.
"Yes it should no longer be broken, but I will say that it might still hurt and you will probably be very tired. I would say try to get a good sleep tonight and it should be fine." Jikan quietly scoffed under her breath at the good sleep remake, luckily the only one to notice was Aizawa.
"Then, yes Ms. Miru you may leave."
The girl quickly got up and walked to the door, almost running already. When she reached the door she quickly bowed to the adults and apologized for all the trouble she caused. Once out that door she took off like a bullet, even if it still really hurt. As she ran she took a quick look out a window and saw that the sun was setting. This made the girl try to run even faster.
It was amazing, to say the least, that the girl somehow figured out her way out of the maze of the school; that and in record time of three minuets. Once she had reached the main doors leading to the main gate. She pushed the doors open and heard someone yelling. Jikan didn't pay attention to what was being said but did pay slight attention to who was being yelled at and who did the yelling. She looked up while running almost full speed, to see the boy who was in Recovery Girl's office with her, Midoriya she thought was his name. He was getting yelled at by a boy with spiky blonde hair, it almost seemed like there were tears in his red eyes. It seemed like it was some sort of break through for the two, but Jikan didn't care she just wanted to get home.
Picking up the pace, Jikan zoomed past the boys bumping into the explosive blonde as she past. This caused him to lose his balance slightly out of the force and confusion to where this purpled hair speed demon came from.
"What the hell!" Bakugo yelled at the girl as he tried to regain some balance.
"S-sorry!" Jikan yelled meekly as she continued to race home in hopes that the Flos resident had pain killer for her bruised ankle.
What Jikan didn't know was, that from the room she had just left. The three teachers along with a few more members of the staff watched from the window, watching the meek girl run like a bat out of hell. Most were confused, but Nezu just smiled because he was going to get that girl into his high school.
*************************************
That night, when all the students had gone home for the night, all the teachers met to agree on if Jikan Miru was going to be in UA or not. Nezu didn't know why he wanted that girl in his high school, but whatever the reason he was going to push for it. Aizawa figured out why he was curious of the young girl. On her way out he noticed gold stitching at that bottom of her sweatshirt that read "Eraserhead", that and the pure amazement she showed when he used his quirk. He liked that.
"I don't understand why we're all here." Snipe said.
"Neither do I." Vlad agreed.
"Is this because of that little purpled hair girl that set off the sirens this morning?" Midnight asked.
"Have you lost your minds!" Present Mic yelled.
"Quiet all," Nezu quieted the room. "Yes this is because of the girl, and no we haven't lost our minds Mic." He gave a look towards Mic which caused him to shut up, which never happened. "That girl is Jikan Miru," With the mention of her last name some looked at him in shock. This was a very famous and high end family we were talking about now. "Yes that Miru. She has told us that she was abandoned from her family for having a quirk and I other reasons I can guess."
"So what does that have to do with us?" Cemtontoes asked.
Nezu sighed, "I believe that this girl should be enrolled in this school."
"What?!" Many of the heroes yelled in confusion.
"You heard him." Aizawa told the group that were confused. He mostly just sat there watching his colleagues and seeing how this would all turn out.
"But principle Nezu, how do we know that this girl is hero material? Or even if she has anything that would be good enough to get into any course of this school? She didn't even take the entrance exam" Vlad stated.
"This is how." Nezu threw papers onto the table, they were copies of the same thing. The paper entrance exam, filled out with Jikan's name and information of it. "It seems that even if Ms. Miru wasn't here to take the test, she has still taken it. This test was sent in a few days ago for the girl, it seems as if someone sent it in trying to get her into the school. This test was taken by Jikan Miru and she has passed it with flying colors."
"But she hasn't taken the other part of the exam, and no one has seen how her quirk works in a situation like in battle." Ectoplasm said, which just caused Nezu to smile.
Nezu pressed a bottom on a remote that caused the TVs behind him to turn on. What the TVs showed was Jikan running and using her Quirk to save Flora along with healing her leg for thirty seconds. The adults in the room just stared at what they just saw, a small girl making a tornado of purple sand and making the very heavy gate move back to its normal state.
"It seems that Ms. Miru save someone from getting crushed while putting herself in danger and using her quirk to stop the danger. Interesting isn't it." Him and Aizawa somewhat smirked as they had seen this in person. "Now I have shown the evidence why this girl should be allowed in our school, but I wish to hear what you all say."
The heroes really didn't know what to say, they knew what that gate was made of and how hard it was to move. Sure her quirk had helped, but still some of the most powerful quirks couldn't do anything to that gate. Along with most of them seeing how fast that girl could run, and how heroic she was to save a life. After that show of events almost everyone agreed to let the girl into the school, the only one left to vote on if the girl was worthy was All might who had been strongly quiet this whole time. This early ever happened.
"All Might, what do you say?"
"This girl, is something that is strong." He looked up. "This girl can become something great. I see that there is a powerful and dedicated force driving her in her eyes. She shows that even is you are meek and shy you can stand up for others no matter the consequences." He stood up and turned into his muscle from. "This girl shows what it means to be a hero. Wanting to have a quirk and use it for good, no matter what others say. She understands the education and something we can't ever teach. How to be a great hero. I give her all my support." All Might didn't really know where that came from, probably because Jikan reminded him of his green haired pupil. But no matter what it was he supported it.
"Now, all that's left is choosing where this young girl will go into the school."
"I'll take her into my class." Aizawa said which stunned everyone in he room, was this still the man that expelled a whole class once? Now he was actually saying we was fine with added another to his already "interesting" class.
After the shock of what the usually pessimistic hero Eraserhead had said, Nezu cleared his throat and stood up. "Well it's settled then, Jikan Miru is now an official student of 1A hero class at UA high school." Now class 1A would gain their twenty-first classmate.
