"I guess you guys are not all that bad.." Ella's face blushed a light pink after the dolls sang their little number. "See? That's the spirit of a positive thinker. You're gonna love it here in the playroom. Come on, we'll show you around." Raggedy Ann and the gang walked with her around the playroom, showing some of the stuff they can use to play and have fun. Something in Ella's head bounced a little bit and Andy heard the noise. "What's that?" He asked and Ella tilted her head. "I'm not sure. I can never tell if it's a marble or a little rock. Let me look." She leaned forward and out came her missing eye. Andy yelped slightly when it came out.

"Runaway Eye! Runaway Eye! Better get it fast before Ella can cry! Woooooooaaaah Woah!" The twin penny dolls began chasing after the eye as it rolled on the floor. Everyone else began to follow in persuit before the eye rolled underneath the costume trunk. "Oh shoot. Now it's stuck under the trunk. And the gap is too small for me or Ann to fit underneath it." Andy crossed his arms, getting quite mad about it. Ella looks at her parasol in her hands, getting an idea. "Hmm.. I think I might have an idea. Let me try something." "Oh, be our guest." Ann moves out of the way and Ella lays down flat, using the end to try and reach for it.

"Ah, curse these stubby doll arms." Ella groans before she got a hold on something. "I think I got it. Easy does it.." She pulled back her parasol gently before her missing eye came rolling back. "Hey. You got back what you were missing!" Raggedy Ann cheered for her. "I was wondering where it was. I thought I was just going crazy from the screaming kids." "Don't worry, Ella. I'll get it back into place in a minute. Maxi Fix-it fixes everything." Maxi got out some tools and Ella sits down on a pillow, ready to have back her 50/50 eyesight. "I'm holding still, don't worry." She stood perfectly still, folding her hands in her lap.

(Later)

"And done! That's much better now, huh?" Maxi asked her and Ella blinked a couple of times to get used to it. "Yeah. It really is. Thank you so much.." Her voice spoke softly before hearing a whistle. "Marcella is coming back. Everyone get back into places." Grandpa called and everyone went back into their original spots. Ella climbed up to the windowsill and sat back down, holding onto her parasol. Marcella opened up the door and looked around. "Hey I'm back! I hope you got acquainted with Ella really well." The soft wind blew the curtains open a bit and Marcella looks to see Ella have her missing eye back. She picked her up and brushed her hair. "We're gonna have so much fun together."

After brushing Ella's hair and doing her bit of homework, Marcella picked up Ann and Andy, placing them with Ella at the table with the tea set. Marcella pulled on Ella's pull string and her voice chip spoke "Care for some tea, friend?" And then Marcella made a cutesy voice for Raggedy Ann, saying "'Oh yes. I would love some tea, Ms. Sugarcoat.'" Ella's face remained unphased, but her mind was starting to think. This was the most fun that she had ever had in the year that she was alone.

She finally had a place where she will feel like home.. And it was as perfect as anything.
