I groan and feel a slight pain in my left arm when I moved a little, I slowly open my eyes but only to be blinded by a bright, shining light, I close them immediately "Charlie?" I move my head "H-Huh?" I open my eyes again to see Austin in my face, I jump a little "J-Jeez! Don't scare me like that!" I take a couple of deep breaths "S-Sorry!" He moves away, I groan again "W-What happened?" He chuckles nervously "W-Well.." I look around the room for a second until everything hit me like a wrecking ball.
This isn't the Nurses Office
This is a hospital room
I've been in a coma for 6 months
I turn my head to Austin slowly.
And I've been awake for 3 days
I start glaring at Austin.
And he didn't tell me..
I sit up and I take a breath "Why?" He looks at me "Why? Why what?" I calmly turn to him "Why didn't you tell me?" He looks at the floor "Well you just woke up a-and I didn't want to scare you with something like that.." I narrow my eyes at him "I've been awake for 3 days Austin and you had a chance to tell me on the 2nd day and yesterday!" I yell at the last part, he sighs and looks at me "Charlie-" "No! Don't Charlie me! This is serious Austin! 6 months?! What the fuck?!" I grab my head only to feel pain spread across my head "Argh!" I grab my head more gently "Charlie! Careful-" "No!" I take a breath "6 months?.." Suddenly my anger starts rising up "6 months?...6 months!? Are you FUCKING kidding me?! Austin! What the hell!?" He grabs my arm "Charlie calm dow-" I hit his hand and he pulls his hand back in pain "Don't you dare touch me!" I look at him while he is breathing in and out "Austin! 6 months?" My anger turns into sadness and my eyes start stinging with tears "6..?" I sob "Months?" I look at Austin and then his hand, his hand is red and I think a little bruised "Oh god" I gasp as guilt hit me like a ton of bricks "Austin, oh my god, I'm so, so sorry I didn't-" "It's fine...don't worry about it.." I rub my eyes "No-baby it isn't i-I'm gonna call a nurse okay?" I look for a button to call the nurse, I find it next to my bed and I press it "Baby?" I look at him "Y-Yeah? So?" He chuckles "Nothing it's just new that's all.." I giggle softly "I really am sorry Austin" he grabs my hand "Hey it's okay, I'm okay i mean, I probably would've acted the same way if I were you" I nod "But still, I had no right to hit you like that" he nods "I know but it isn't your fault" I sigh "I let my anger get the best of me, I'm sorry" He nods, a nurse walks in and looks at me "Ms Hunter, what's the matter?" I point at Austin "I hit-" "I knocked my hand against the table by accident and Charlie called you cause she thinks it serious" I look at Austin "No Au-" he shakes his head :It's okay: he mouths "Oh silly! C'mon! I'll get you checked Mr Moon" he nods and looks at me "You gonna be okay?" I nod "I just gotta let it sink in, I'll be fine" he smiles at me "Love you" I open and close my mouth for a second 'Get it together!' I take a quick breath "Love you t-too" he half smiles and walks out, I take a deep breath "Shit.." I breath out, I look at the wall beside me "6 freaking months?!" I whisper loudly to myself
'Be grateful that it wasn't for years..'
I sigh
'I know it's just..shocking y'know?'
'We understand Charlie but hey..at least Austin was beside you all the way through it'
'How do we know?'
'Ask him'
Austin suddenly walks through the door with a bandaged hand "Hey Charlie" I smile a little "Hey..I didn't break your hand did i?" I asked worried about him "Oh! No she only put it on for a precaution..I don't think she's a fully qualified nurse y'know" I giggle "Yeah I can tell" he smiles at me "You okay?" I nod "At least it wasn't for 6 years" he chuckles "thank god for that" I look at him "Hey, were you here? This whole time?" He laughs, oh god that laugh is like music to my ears "Y-Yeah!" He chuckles "I practically LIVED here!" I smile "Really?" He nods "Yeah! Charlie I wouldn't leave the room unless I needed the toilet badly or I was starving" I tilt my head "You are so sweet Austin" he scratches his neck "Well..I'm a boyfriend aren't i?" I smile "You are indeed" he smiles "You're mine and I am yours" I grab his good hand and I smile at him "Austin, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me and I mean that" he smiles "I know" I grab his face and I pull him close to mine "Austin" he puts his sore hand on mine "Yes?" I smile

No second thoughts

And mean them'
I lean in a little, staring into his eyes the whole time "I Love You and I will for the rest of my life, no doubts" he smiles and closes the gap, I smile in the kiss

We pull apart for air "And I always will" I finish earning a smile and a chuckle from my dear, loving Boyfriend.
