Fight time!
Haidee, Mal, Evie, and Azira made it to Tremaine's Parlor where they saw Dizzy with her headphones on looking over a dress.
Evie shushed the others as she walked over to Dizzy to surprise her with Mal following after. Dizzy screamed and jumped up once she saw Evie.
"Evie!" she squealed. "It's so great to see you!"
"Yeah, nice to see you too," Mal said after Dizzy ignored her. Azira chuckled.
Haidee walked over to the mirror where she was just looking at herself. Though she didn't see herself the way she always did, happy, beautiful, and overall perfect, she now looked different, her hair was out of place, and her clothes did not look like how she usually did it. Instead of the usual dresses, she now wore black jeans, a black, dark red vest with a white shirt, and knee length black boots she borrowed from Evie. she looked different, and for some reason, it made her feel different, like she likes how she looked. She wasn't a villain kid, far from it and that's what everyone knew, but something in her was telling her that it wasn't what she was meant to be, and she didn't know why.
"What is happening..." she muttered.
"You are so lucky"
"It's no lie that your mother is the goddess of Beauty, you are so perfect."
"How does your hair just stay so perfect? Mine keeps getting tangled up."
"So perfect."
Perfect...so truly perfect...
Or was she?
She never even tried to compare herself to her mother, or anyone for that matter. She always told herself that even though she's pretty, she should never flaunt it, just show it,
But was that what she was doing?
Who was she?
She looked at Azira. Her cousin. The one who she's been forced to fight with since they were young. One look at them and everyone knew who had the best life while the other had been left in the dumps.
But they couldn't have been more wrong.
Haidee was forced to live this perfect life while Azira got to leave and become friends with the people she wants instead of people she's forced to be with. She got caught up in the wrong group while Azira got to have genuine friends who actually cared for her. It made Haidee jealous.
Haidee then looked back in the mirror. She was becoming one of them. She then started to wonder if what she was doing, sticking under her mother, Chad, and Audrey's shadows were the right thing to do. She walked closer as a tear fell down her cheek.

(Haidee)
How do people make it look easy?
Are they happy or just good at deceiving?
I just want a bit of that feeling for myself
I don't put the pressure of soulmates
I just want somebody who knows me
Cause every now and then I admit
(Haidee & Eliott)
I need a little bit of help
(Haidee)
I don't feel like I belong
Anywhere, where, where, where
(Eliott)
How did this keep going on?
How did we get here, here, here?
(Haidee)
The more I cover up my flaws
The more they appear
I gotta find where I belong
Ah ah ah
Eliott is in the back of the Limo while Jay and Carlos are in the front driving.
(Eliott)
I wish I could feel the way you do sometimes
You're stuck on the outside while I'm in here wondering why
I had to make it worse, you were already hurt
Don't wanna be another thing on your mind
I wish I could change instead of making mistakes
Tryna hold you up, instead I'm the one pushing away
Just wanna understand, but every time I can't
And I don't know why
(Haidee)
I don't feel like I belong
Anywhere, where, where, where
(Eliott)
How did I get this so wrong
To leave us right here, here, here?
(Haidee)
The more I cover up my flaws
The more they appear
I gotta find where I belong
Ah, ah, ah
Everywhere I do
Don't feel like home
Even my parents, they act like they know
Guess I have to leave to finally see
If there's someone out there and they're just like me
Then I'll go
Yeah, I'll go
I don't feel like I belong
Anywhere, where, where, where
(Eliott)
How did I get this so wrong
To leave us right here, here, here?
(Haidee)
The more I cover up my flaws
The more they appear
I gotta find where I belong
Ah, ah, ah
(I don't feel like, I don't feel like
I don't feel like
Gotta find where, gotta find where
Gotta find where I belong)
Haidee's lip trembled as she looked down at the ground. Azira noticed this and walked to her.
"Haidee?" she asked. "Are you...okay?"
Haidee wanted to hide her expression but couldn't as she just sighed. "I..." she groaned. "I just didn't realize that what I was doing was wrong until I actually stepped into your world." She then looked back at the mirror. "The Isle made me realize that what I was doing was the exact opposite of what a hero, a princess is supposed to do. Be nice instead of mean. Be helpful instead of pushing down others." Haidee then looked at her cousin. "People like you."
Azira raised an eyebrow at her cousin as she continued.
"I knew you were struggling with your powers and didn't even take the time to help you control them. I'm sorry, Azira. I really am."
Azira sighed before looking into the mirror. The two of them stayed silent for a moment.
"Yeah," she muttered. "The day I discovered my powers, I did look to you for help, but didn't get it, and I was pretty sad about that." Haidee pursed her lips as Azira continued. "But, you were being controlled by Aphrodite, you didn't know what was right and I don't blame you for it now. Never did, but was still pissed at how well you acted."
The two girls giggled as they looked at each other.
"Either way," Azira smiled. "I do want to give you another chance to be a better cousin to me, if you'd like."
Haidee sighed before nodding. "I do," she said. "I do want to give our relationship another chance. I don't want to be controlled by my mother or our grandfather again. Just me."
Azira gave Haidee a playful expression before opening her arms. "Well, it starts today?"
Haidee smiled before hugging her cousin, who hugged her back tightly. They stayed like this for another moment before they heard Dizzy's voice.
"Take it!" she said to Evie and Mal before grabbing a bunch of jewelry into her arms and bringing them to the two. "Take a bunch!"
"You guys finished tying the smoke bombs already?" Haidee asked.
"Yeah," Azira answered. "It only took us about two minutes."
The girls laughed as they made it towards Mal and Evie who were taking off their gloves.
"She'll be alright," Mal told Evie as the four looked at Dizzy.
"Yeah," Evie agreed. "But she could be so much more."
Haidee sighed. "Maybe if you talk to Ben he could maybe try to push to make her and some other kids have a chance to go to Auradon."
Evie nodded. "You're right," she said. "I will be having a talk with him."
The other three laughed as they all walked out of the Parlor.
~~~
Meanwhile, Harry was messing with Ben who was tied to a pole.
"Coochie-coochie coo!" he said while rubbing his hook under Ben's chin.
Uma and Elisia walked towards the men.
"Leave him be, Harry," Uma scolded. "We can't damage the goods."
Harry groaned as he hung from a rope. "You said I could hook him!" he said.
"She said at noon," Elisia told him, angrily.
Harry chuckled before holding up a clock to Ben's face. "Only 20 minutes left, beastie boy."
Ben looked at the clock. "That says 11:30." he told the pirate.
Uma chuckled at the girl. "You are still mad that that Westerguard brat betrayed you?"
"He hit me in the head with a guitar!" (A/N: please tell me you guys get this reference) she yelled. "And he let that stupid fire brat and her nymph mom free from the castle. Of course, I'm mad."
Uma chuckled before looking at Ben. "You better be lucky if your precious girlfriend and her poor excuse of friends come in to rescue you. Or I just might let Elisia here take her anger out on you."
Elisia grinned as the girls both looked at Ben.
Ben sighed as he hung his head down. "She...she's not my girlfriend anymore."
Uma laughed, amused. "Oh, really now?" Uma then looked at Harry. "Leave us alone, Harry," she commanded.
Harry walked to Ben before holding the clock to his face once again. "19 minutes now."
"Harry!" Uma yelled, causing Harry to walk away.
Ben looked from Uma to Elisia with a nervous expression. He then glanced at Elisia. "So you're the daughter of Eris?"
Elisia raised an eyebrow. "Yeah and? What's it to you?"
"Nothing it's just...for someone so...courageous being against someone like Azira, you guys might have some terrible backstory going on, huh?"
Elisia glanced at the daughter of Ursula who gave her a look back. "Why are you asking princey boy?"
"Come on, please?" he asked. "Why are you two such rivals? What happened?"
Uma scoffed. "Shut up,"
"Sorry, but honestly," Ben glanced at Uma. "Why are you doing this? You are better than this."
"This?" Uma scoffed. "You have no right to tell us what we are no better than. You don't know us. Your father sent us to the wasteland and has anyone ever cared to check up on us? Not. One. Bit. And you care now? Bull shit."
Ben was silent for another moment. "I do care," the girls scoffed. "I do, I promise, that's why I made the proclamation to send the Villain kids to Auradon."
"But have you sent anyone else since those losers afterward?" Elisia asked. "No, because you were too busy living the best life with your fancy friends, forgetting all about us."
Ben sighed. "I didn't think about it like that," he said. "That I would upset the people I didn't pick. I'm sorry."
Uma chuckled before walking closer to Ben. "When you brought Mal," she rolled her eyes at the mention of Mal's name. "Azira, Evie, Jay, and Carlos to Auradon, that was about as mad as I have ever been. And trust me, I've been plenty mad."
"Then let me go and we'll go together." Ben suggested before looking at Elisia. "Both of you, we can all go to Auradon and you'll be happy there, I promise."
Uma looked at Elisia as they both started laughing. "Oh now we get an invite?" Uma said with a fake shocked expression before getting in Ben's face once again. "Nah," she said. "I don't need your pity. We can take care of ourselves just fine without you. So thanks," she snickered. "But no thanks."
Ben wiggled. "But please," he said as the girls turned to face him again. "Think about this."
Uma and Elisia looked at each other before hearing the voice of Gil.
"Hey, guys!" he called out. "They're here!"
Elisia groaned. "Finally!"
Uma turned back to Ben. "Let's see what this thing can do," she said, gesturing to her necklace while Ben gulped.
As Mal, Azira, and the others walked through the entrance, Harry laughed.
"Welcome!"
"Finally!" Uma laughed.
(A/N: I am starting this part at exactly 12:00 am so yay!)
(uma)
Let's get this party started
I swear I'm cold-hearted
There's no negotiation
I'm not here for debatin'
You need some motivation?
Just look at Ben's face
then ask yourself how long you think I'll remain patient
I'll throw him overboard and let him swim with killer sharks
You either hand over the wand or he'll be ripped apart
(Mal)
Now, let's all just be smart
Although for you, that must be hard
You'll get your wand, no one has to come to any harm
Don't try to intimidate
Your bark is much worse than your bite
Who's the baddest of them all?
I guess we're finding out tonight.
(Pirates + Elisia)
Let's go, bring it on
Better give us what we want
It's the wand for the crown
If you don't it's goin' down
(Vks & Aks)
Let's go, make your move
Peace or war, it's up to you
Give him up and do it now
If you don't it's goin' down
(Pirates + Elisia)
We want the wand , or else the king is gone
Your time is running out
You should really watch your mouth
(Vks and Aks)
Let's go pound for pound
We're prepared to stand our ground
Put your swords up, put 'em up
It's goin' down
(Pirates + Elisia)
(Yo-ho ho-oh oh-oh) make the trade
(Yo-ho ho-oh oh-oh) or walk the plank
(Yo-ho ho-oh oh-oh) make the trade (Uma, Uma, Uma-la-la-la)
(Yo-ho ho-oh oh-oh) or walk the plank (Uma, Uma, Uma-la-la-la)
Azira and Elisia push Uma and Mal aside so they would face each other.
(Azira)
Ha, okay, look, this is not a conversation
It's a do-or-die situation
If you don't give me back the king, I'll have no hesitation
I'll serve you right here, and I don't need a reservation
That way your whole "pirate crew" can have a demonstration
Release him now, and we can go our separate ways
Unless you wanna deal with me, and the VKs
(Elisia)
Haha so that's your big speech huh?
An empty ultimatum?
(Harry)
All it takes is one swing and I'll humiliate him
Matter of fact, make one wrong move and I'll debilitate him
And if he even starts to slip I'll eliminate him
All it takes is one wrong look and I'll-
(Uma)
Harry, we get it, chill
(Pirates + Elisia)
Let's go, bring it on
Better give us what we want
It's the wand for the crown
If you don't it's goin' down
(Aks and Vks)
Let's go, make your move
Peace or war, it's up to you
Give him up and do it now
If you don't it's goin' down
(Pirates + Elisia)
We want the wand, or else the king is gone
Your time is runnin' out
You should really watch your mouth
(Aks and Vks)
Let's go, pound for pound
We're prepared to stand our ground
Put your swords up, put 'em up
It's goin' down
(Ben)
Hey, we don't have to choose
We don't have to light the fuse
Mal, whatever you do, it's gonna be a lose-lose
There's gotta be a better way
Uma, I promise I'll give you your chance
You'll have your say
(Uma)
Silly king
You? Give me?
You're gonna give me a chance?
Well not a chance
(Pirates + Elisia)
(Yo-ho ho-oh oh-oh) make the trade
(Yo-ho ho-oh oh-oh) or walk the plank
(Yo-ho ho-oh oh-oh) make the trade (Uma, Uma, Uma-la-la-la)
(Yo-ho ho-oh oh-oh) or walk the plank (Uma, Uma, Uma-la-la-la)
Mal walked forward to hand Uma the wand, but Elisia stopped her.
"Wait," she said. "Too easy. Cast a spell to show us it's actually real."
Azira and Mal looked at each other.
"I always knew you were a drama queen," Mal scoffed.
"Yeah," Uma said. "And nothing too big or your precious boy here is fish bait."
Mal glanced at the Vks behind her. She looked at Carlos as he gestured towards Dude with his head. Mal turned towards Uma and Elisia, who was looking impatient, before looking back at Dude.
"Although it seems absurd, turn your bark into a word." She said before twirling the wand. Dude just stayed silent. Mal looked back at Uma and Elisia, who looked extra impatient than before. "Speak dog," Mal gritted her teeth.
"Does this vest make me look fat?" Dude whispered, causing the pirates to laugh. "Does anyone have any bacon? Cookies?"
Elisia and Uma laughed as Azira looked at Dude with a concerned expression on her face before turning back to Uma and Elisia.
"Give us the wand!" Uma yelled.
"Give us Ben!" Azira yelled back.
Uma growled at her. "Harry," she called out. "Bring him over."
Harry led Ben over to where Mal, Uma, Azira, and Elisia were. He shoved Ben on his knees in front of Mal and Azira.
"Aw," Uma said as she held out her hands towards Mal as Mal did the same towards Uma. "Cut him loose, Harry."
"I never get to have any fun," Harry muttered as he cut Ben's rope. Ben quickly grabbed Mal's hand as she handed Uma the fake wand. Mal and Azira quickly picked up Ben and pushed him towards the others. "Go," Azira told him. "Ben, go!"
"Yeah!" Uma and Elisia cheered as they ran back to the pirates. Uma stood in the middle. "By the power of the sea, tear it down and set us free!" Uma yelled as she pointed the wand towards the barrier. Nothing happened. The Pirates looked at the Vks and Aks as they tried to escape. In anger, Uma broke the wand in two.
"Ugh!" Uma yelled. "You do not get to win every time!"
Once they were all in the limo, silence filled the air around them and all you could hear was everyone's heavy breathing.
"I'm really sorry that things didn't go the way you wanted them to," Ben told Mal.
"I mean, as long as you're safe that..." Mal sighed.
"Well, I mean, at least I got to see the Isle," Ben said. "They're my people too. Uma and Elisia helped me see that."
Mal looked at Ben like he was ridiculous. "Ben, Uma and Elisia captured you." Mal reminded him.
"She's an angry girl with a bad plan," Ben told her. "That's not so different from when you came to Auradon, Mal."
Then, silence filled the limo again and they stayed like that for a moment.
Azira looked out of the window to see Harison running towards the limo. Her eyes widened at the sight of him. He gave her a look of longing that made her heart melt. 'I'll come back for you,' she mouthed to him. 'I promise.'
Harison looked at Azira for a moment before nodding.
Eliott saw the interaction and scoffed. "What's up with you and him?"
Azira turned towards him. "What?" she asked.
"I saw the way he was holding you in the castle," he told her. "Is there something going on between you two?"
Azira rolled her eyes. "So what?" she asked. "You told me we were done."
"I never said that, Azira."
"Oh? You didn't?" she asked. "So, your exact words to me weren't 'Coming from the girl who can never keep a boyfriend or her temper in check.' That sounded just like a breakup to me."
"Me too," Mal jumped in.
Eliott pointed to Mal. "You aren't in this."
Azira slapped his hand away. "You don't talk to my friend like that."
"You move on rather quickly for someone who got mad at me."
Azira scoffed. "Oh, so you want me to be like, 'oh dear, I am so sad that my insufferable boyfriend broke up with me.' get a life."
"You were like that when you walked away, I bet."
Azira groaned as she just got up to sit by Carlos, Dude, and Haidee. "Just go away."
Dude jumped in her arms, and she started petting him, making her slightly feel better.
"Here we go," Jay called out as he pressed the button that opened the barrier. Once out of the barrier, Jay drove as the golden bridge formed.
~~~
All of them made it to Auradon from what felt like a long, awkward car drive.
"I'll get these back to the gym," Lonnie told Jay as the group walked in the courtyard.
"Thanks," Jay told her.
"See you later."
Arin quickly noticed the group and ran towards them. "Eliott! Azira!" he said as he hugged them separately. He then turned towards Eliott. "Seriously, if you're going somewhere, at least take me with you next time! I was completely worried when I didn't see you in our dorm and I looked everywhere."
Azira sighed. "I bet it would've been better than being stuck with just him." she muttered, loud enough for the two to hear.
Eliott groaned. "Can you just stop this? I'm honestly getting tired of you."
"Well, that's assuring for someone who's so protective."
Eliott rolled his eyes while Azira turned away from him. Arin looked nervously between the two.
"Um...did something happen?" he asked.
"No," Azira said at the same time Eliott said. "Yes,"
"I am not lying to him!"
"Well, I'm not going to let you wrap him into any messed-up fantasy you have about me."
"What is going on?" Arin asked.
"Nothing!" they both told him.
"Well, that's something you two agree on," Arin sighed.
Before anyone else could say anything, Evie grabbed Azira's hand and took her to Mal where she grabbed her hand as well.
"We need to talk," Evie told the two.
"Yeah," Mal said as Azira just nodded.
Carlos then went behind them. "No,"
The girls looked at him. "No?" Evie asked, confused.
"You guys are always going off in a huddle, whispering your girl talk stuff or whatever," Carlos told them. "Jay and I are tired of it."
"I'm not," Jay told the girls.
"We're your family too," Carlos told the girls. "We've been through a lot. Together. We're not stopping that now, okay?" Carlos continued. The girls nodded. "Everyone sit."
Carlos then sat down on the grass, waiting for the others to do the same, and after a moment they did. Arin sat down as well, much to Eliott's dismay.
They then all looked at Carlos, waiting for him to start. He just shrugged. "I don't know how to start girl talk," he admitted before looking at Jay.
Jay shrugged. "What up?" he asked, causing Evie to laugh a little.
"Um, well," Mal started. "I'm a mess. I'm such a mess," she nervously chuckled. "I mean, six months ago I was, you know, stealing candies from babies and now everybody wants me to be this lady of the court, and I have no idea how to keep up the act."
"Then don't," Carlos told her simply. He then looked at Azira. "Now you."
"Me?"
Carlos nodded.
Azira sighed. "Well, uh," Dude jumped into her lap, and she started petting him. "It's just...everything. First the new domain thing, which I still haven't got started on, the previous princess consort thing that I have to explain to everyone why it's over probably, and now this thing with Elisia and my mother it's...I don't know." She buried her head in her knees as Arin and Evie comforted her.
"If it makes you feel any better, I know where all of Eliott's secret stashes of chocolates and candies are," Arin suggested. "Want me to get them for you?"
Azira raised an eyebrow at him. "Why do you suddenly believe me over your cousin?"
Arin shrugged. "He has a habit of being 'Hansy' with people. With that being said, I am sorry I didn't warn you before."
Azira nodded. "It's okay, Arin, and you don't have to get anything for me, I'm fine."
"Are you?" Jay asked, causing Carlos to hit him.
Azira shrugged. "I don't know."
"See, this was dumb," Jay said as he started to get up but Evie stopped him.
"Maybe it's not," Evie said, making him sit back down. "I mean, we are trying too hard to fit in with the Auradon kids now, trying to forget that we were ever from the Isle, but the truth is, we will never fit in. no matter how hard we try."
Carlos nodded. "People will probably still be afraid of us," he said.
"Yeah," Jay agreed. "But at least they'll know that we know who we are, and that won't change."
Azira sighed. "And no magic or scepters can change that."
"Not even my spell book," Mal chuckled.
"Listen, Mal," Carlos told her. "If Ben can't see you the way you are and love you like that, he's not the one."
"And even if he doesn't," Arin spoke. "We'll be right by your side, no matter what." Arin then put his hand on Azira's shoulder. "I'm here for you. Both of you."
Azira smiled at him and so did Mal.
"Thanks, Arin," Mal smiled.
Evie then put a hand on Mal's shoulder. "I'm going to make some changes to your dress, both of you. And if you're up to it-only if you're up to it, it's yours, okay?"
The girls nodded as Evie, Jay, Carlos, and Arin got up. Arin gave Azira a hug before walking after Evie, Carlos, and Dude. Jay stayed behind as he noticed Mal and Azira still sitting on the grass. He sighed as he sat back down to look at them.
"Look, come to cotillion, alright?" Jay asked them. "Both of you, and if Ben can't love the real you and neither of you can stand another day, I'll drive you back there myself, alright?"
Mal looked at Jay before giving him a small smile. Azira gave him one as well as he patted their shoulders and walked away.
The girls looked at each other.
(Mal)
If only I knew what my heart was telling me
(Azira)
Don't know what I'm feeling, is this-
(Mal & Azira)
Just a dream ah oh oh
If only I could read the signs in front of me
I can find a way to who I'm meant to be
Ah oh
If only...
If only...
Mal hugs Azira who puts her head on her chest.
"What are we going to do?"
