A/n: Happy valentines!

Sakura was sitting with y/n and her boyfriend. It was awkward for her, being the third wheel.

The two were chatting and laughing. They'd occasionally stare into each other's eyes and kiss.

Sakura was reminded of how single she was. Her thoughts traveled to Sasuke, Naruto, Gaara and Lee. She hoped they were OK. Right before the war, all four had confessed to her. But she never got to reply.

Sakura excused herself and wandered off, wanting to give the two space.

While walking she heard sniffles, she followed the sound and found a child. The boy looked vulnerable. He looked up at her with tears and her heart ached.

She knelt down and smiled gently. "HI little one" The boy stopped sniffling and stared at her. "Are you lost?"

He nodded cutely. Sakura picked him up and gently patted his back. She played with him while waiting for the parent to come back.

She fed him her croissants at one point. Just when it looked like no one was coming, an out of breath woman ran up to them. She teared up and her stressed face gradually turned into one of relief.

The boy smiled and hugged his mom, the moment she held him. The mom thanked Sakura.

"You'll make a wonderful mother one day!" "The fact you took care of my child proves that"

Sakura smiled, feeling warm. "Bye pretty auntie!" The child shouted, while waving. Soon the mother and son disappeared from sight.

Right after, y/n and her boyfriend came to her. They started for home after parting with y/n's boyfriend.

On their way home y/n spoke. "You're so nice for helping that child Sakura" Sakura was startled. "You saw?!"

Y/n laughed. "Yeah" "I'm real glad I met you Sakura!"
