Sakura was spaced out as she walked back home. Her day had started out fine till she heard someone talking smack about her. The words were like knives that stabbed her heart. She felt so rejected. I'm useless?!

I didn't mean to be rude to Naruto! I was just a kid. She plopped on a couch after slamming the door shut.

"I'm only human" "Why do you do this?!" "Don't you make mistakes too?" Sakura whispered, tears streaming down her face. She shivered and kept on sobbing, till she passed out.

Y/n got back from her part time work to find an asleep Sakura. She was about to pick her up and take her to bed, when she stopped upon hearing what Sakura muttered.

"I didn't mean to!" She screamed as she thrashed about. Y/n's heart broke seeing Sakura like that.

She shook her awake and Sakura was left sweating. She panted and held her aching head. "Y/n?" She said, recognizing her her voice cracked and her hair was disheveled. Eyebags plagued her face.

Sakura gripped y/n's arms tightly as she was hugged. She held on like it was the end of the world and if she let go her light in the darkness would disappear. She didn't want y/n to disappear and die like her parents.

It wasn't until Sakura calmed down that she told y/n what happened. Y/n felt livid. "I'm sorry that happened to you" she said, feeling sad.

Y/n wanted to distract Sakura and make her feel happy. She immediately began tickling her. Sakura was left giggling and begging for her to stop.
