In Chapter 1, Brian loses his younger sister, Laura, to Pennywise. Bender is part of Henry Bowers' gang. Claire is in Becky's gang with Greta Keene as her enforcer.

That day in detention on Saturday changes each of their lives...yet, they don't speak to each other again.

-Brian's Story: Brian is dealing with his grieving parents who believe his sister is dead. He refuses to give up hope and believes she's still alive. Brian is tormented by nightmares of Laura being dragged away in the storm drain. At school, he is physically tortured by Henry Bowers since he's deemed the weakest.

-Bender's Story: Bender decides to quit Henry's gang after learning that he sexually harassed Claire (or OC depending on if he is your OC's crush) and is punished by Henry by carving an H in his stomach.

-Claire's Story: Claire decides to quit Becky's gang after hearing Becky trash talk about Allison who is desperate to be popular. She has rumors spread about her after quitting.

- Andrew's Story: Andrew has conflicting feelings about apologizing to Larry Lester and debating whether or not to quit wrestling. Being too pressured into maintaining his jock image, he doesn't have aapologize and Larry transfers to another school. (Optional: Andrew and Allison can be a relationship--if Andrew is OC's crush, then we can work with it)

-Sheila's Story: Sheila stays friends with Brian since she is new to Shermer and doesn't really know where she belongs. She offers to help Brian to find out what happened to his sister. After encountering Claire being bullied by Becky, she punches Becky in the tit...and is punished by having her hair cut off. Her hair is given to Patrick Hockstedder—who has a strange fetish for collecting hair. Sheila, like the other girls, endures Henry's sexual harassment.

-Allison's Story: Allison is taking to the popular crowd but has difficulty with maintaining her makeover (since Claire did this). After finding out that Becky was trash talking about her, she goes back to her old look and being a weirdo. 

Each member of the Club encounters Pennywise in the form of their greatest fear

1) Brian sees IT in his basement with Laura as Pennywise uses her as a ventriloquist dummy

2) Andrew is on the track and finds a crying boy who oddly resembles Larry Lester who becomes covered in tape and screams in pain. This represents his guilt for what he did to Larry Lester

3) Allison encounters Pennywise at the house on Neibolt Street in the form of a zombie since she fears becoming like her parents

4) Claire encounters Pennywise in a closed off part of the mall where she meets a charming looking gentleman in elegant clothes who is actually a demon that represents Greed--he tries to capture Claire with gold chains and diamond encrusted locks intertwined with silk--a representation of her fear of being bound to her material possessions

5) Bender encounters Pennywise on the Kissing Bridge where he meets a very sadistic version of Vernon who beats him and taunts him with debasing names, calling him worthless.

6) Sheila encounters IT in the library where she enters the Land of Oz that's made of sweets and candy and is lured into a gingerbread house on a caramel yellow brick road. She hears an elderly lady inside and it turns out to be the Wicked Witch of the West--Sheila has been scared of witches since she was small.

Each of the Club has weapons:

-Brian: Crowbar

-Andrew: Nail gun

-Allison: A rusty piece of the fence on Neibolt Street

-Claire: Her hairspray

-Bender; His switchblade

-Sheila: A slingshot called Lucky Shot

SCENARIOS--You can pick what scenario to start.

1) The Last Week of School before Summer Vacation-Each of the Club parts ways with their clique, each experiencing a consequence: Henry gets his revenge on Bender after school

2) The Barrens-The Club searches for Laura

3) The Quarry-The Club decides to go for a swim

4) The Apocolyptic Rock Fight-Brian gets a summer job. He is chased and tortured by Henry and his gang and the rest of the club stand up and fight back

5) House on Neibolt Street where the Club decides to investigate where IT lives

6) The Sewers-the Club go for the final showdown
