Episode 7:Murder is Maybe Okay?

"If you ever touch me again I'll cauterize your mouth closed."(Heatblast)

He figured he could threaten him, he heard a distant slow clapping sound and turned around to see Homelander.. Huh that's probably not good

"Wow! That was a genuinely good threat! Mind if I use it sometimes?"(Homelander)

"I actually do mind, I was just having a conversation with this hypocrite here and things got a little heated up."(Heatblast)

He said before he let him go, reverting back to Ben as he stared at the asshole human in front of him

"Heated up? Well aren't you a fountain of puns. You may be new here and all, but don't forget. I'm the top fucking dog."(Homelander)

"You do what to dogs?"(Ben)

"What?"(Homelander)

"Nothing."(Ben)

Ben glanced at his wrist.. he could kill this man so easily. All it would take to do itwould be Alien X.. he could convince Serena and Belicus- No! Ben what the hell are you thinking?!

"Right. Let's get this bullshit interview shit done already. I've got to get home already."(Homelander)

"Aww, don't want to keep the body pillow waiting for you?"(Ben)

"I'm this close to lasering your fucking head off."(Homelander)

He pinched his fingers together and Ben didn't even have the time to turn into Chromastone as the lasers cut his body in half-

"If fucking only."(Homelander)

He thought to himself as it was revealed he didn't do anything

Ben rolled his eyes, following after the asshole. He did have a job to do now, some kind of press shoot

"Excuse me! Mr. Erm-"(Reporter)

"Please just Ben is fine! What's up?"(Ben)

He asked as he relaxed in the incredibly soft chair provided

"Who would you like to play you in a movie?"(Reporter)

"Ooh good question, Id rather not be in any movies but if I had to choose I'd say Tom Holland!"(Ben)

"Ben! Ben! What're your thoughts on what happened with Starlight that got revealed at the Believe Expo?"(Reporter 2)

Ben perked up. His eyes opening as he frowned

"Well first of all I'd like to just say, despite not knowing Starlight, yet, she seems like an incredibly kind person, someone taking advantage of that is absolutely fucking disgu-"(Ben)

"Alright! Well we've got to head out now! Say goodbye Benny."(Homelander)

"What no- I was speaking!"(Ben)

His mic was taken away before he could keep going, so he started yelling

"It's disgusting! I hope whoever did it gets caught!"(Ben)

He was dragged away by Homelander, the press screaming more and more questions

"Why are you silencing him?!"(Reporter)

"Let him speak!"(Reporter 2)

en sighed as Homelander rattled on and on about nothing. Just stupid things.. he heard the word points thrown around. After the meeting he got up to leave he contemplated jumping out the window just to get out faster but he heard footsteps approaching and turned around, prepared for a fight

"Oh hey, Starlight right?"(Ben)

"Uh yeah! Sorry if this is weird or anything, I just wanted to thank you."(Starlight)

"Thank- for what?"(Ben)

"What you said-"(Starlight)

"Oh! Yeah no worries! I'm Ben, Ben Tennyson!"(Ben)

"Annie January."(Starlight)

"So Hughie said he knows you?"(Ben)

"Hug- how do you know Hughie?"(Starlight)

"Good question! I sort of stumbled upon him getting attacked and helped him out!"(Ben)

It was the truth- not the whole truth but still!

"Oh! Thanks for that too!"(Starlight)

"No problem! It's our job right?"(Ben)

"Yeah.. it is! Thanks for being so down to earth, it's nice to know someone else is actually fighting to help people!"(Starlight)

"Once again it's no big deal, anyways you think I'd have to pay for breaking the window?"(Ben)

".. Probably?"(Starlight)

"Eh it's worth it."(Ben)

He said before he took a running leap through the window. As he fell he pressed down on the dial of the Ultimatrix. And slammed down on the dial. Moments before he hit the floor Jet-Ray's wings spread out, carrying him through the air. He flew, the air hitting his face, making him feel free!

"Oi, monster boy, you get any info?"(Butcher)

The voice came from the symbol on his chest

"Yeah, Homelanders a douche canoe, Starlight's a good person, and everyone else are assholes!"(Jet-Ray)

"Well we already knew that! What did you learn?"(Butcher)

"Homelander threatened to kill me multiple times? Maybe I could record a death threat or something? Leak it to the internet?"(Jet-Ray)

"Vought would take care of it instantly."(Butcher)

"Not if we air it live on TV, there's already a Twitter hashtag flying around about letting Vought Supes speak their minds after what happened last time"(Jet-Ray)

"That's right.. alright but we need to off Translucent. He's gonna give us away."(Butcher)

"Alright alright fine."(Jet-Ray)

He would come up with something. Something to avoid it.
