Ben was watching the news- well no, Butcher was watching the news and Ben was watching over his shoulder as he had a bowl of cereal

"Plane crash."(Butcher)

The brit said with a shrug

On the screen Homelander was visible, the volume turned on and Ben could make out what he was saying. And knowing him from in person..

"He's lying.."(Ben)

"Well duh."(Butcher)

"DID YOU KNOW POT IS LEGAL?!"(Soldier Boy)

"What?"(Ben)

"Y'know, marijuana. I locked up so many jackasses for this shit."(Soldier Boy)

"..I'm going out. I need to hit something."(Ben)

The ’hero’ offered the minor his joint

"Not that kind of hit- I mean punch."(Ben)

"I'll come with."(Soldier Boy)

"No, your a secret weapon. You stay here."(Butcher)

"Fuck off I'm going."(Soldier Boy)

"...I have an idea actually. If I can get enough stuff I could conceal your identity.. Maybe-"(Ben)

"Maybe is good enough for me, who do we need to rob?"(Soldier Boy)

"Not rob! Me and Hughie are just gonna- go to a supply store or something- pick up some materials and head to the dump for spare parts. I might not even be able to make it with the materials on earth."(Ben)

"Earth?"(Soldier Boy)

"Yeah- and I don't have a ship- I don't even know if you have aliens in this universe."(Ben)

"Universe?"(Soldier Boy)

"Have you not been paying attention?"(Ben)

The soldier glanced at the joint then back at Ben

"I think I need to catch up to you."(Soldier Boy)

He said before he took another hit of his joint.

A crustacean like alien was sitting at a table, electricity picking things up off a table as he tried to make something... Sparks went through the air as he worked, claws pinching something.

"Did that work?"(Brainstorm)

The invention didn't respond

"..Ah right, inanimate object. I need a test subject.. with little value.."(Brainstorm)

He reverted to human form
