Chapter 10:So.. we're both named Ben?

Ben woke up and he noticed he was in an alleyway, he looked around, he saw the almost naked Soldier Boy, man guy sitting next to him

"You up kid?"(Soldier Boy)

"Uhh yeah- why'd you save me?"(Ben)

"I'm a man. I pay my debts. You came to break me out right?"(Soldier Boy)

"Yeah- I dug through Vought's files to find you-"(Ben)

"Vought.. fucking dicks, pumped me full of chemicals, make me fight in the war, then dump me in a Russian prison the moment I'm not of use."(Soldier Boy)

"I'm Ben, Ben Tennyson!"(Ben)

The man raised an eyebrow

"Ben."(Soldier Boy)

"Yeah?"(Ben)

"No I'm telling you my name."(Soldier Boy)

"We're both named Ben?"(Ben)

"Yeah, I guess so."(Ben)

Ben somewhat wondered if this man was the him of this universe. He knew there were multiple where he didn't get the Omnitrix, maybe even where the Omnitrix doesn't exist-

"Last name?"(Ben)

"Not telling you kid."(Ben)

"Fair enough. Welp you ready to go back to America?"(Ben)

"You got a private jet or something?"(Ben)

"Yeah, air Tennyson."(Ben)

He said as the Ultimatrix dial popped up before he transformed into Jet-Ray

"What in the ever living Communist fuck?!"(Ben)

A Russian song could be heard not too far away. The soldiers eyes became lidded as he stumbled slightly, his chest beginning to light up

"Radiation Warning."(Ultimatrix)

Jet-Ray slammed down on the dial, transforming into NRG and pulling himself out of the suit right as the other Ben started shooting out almost nuclear energy. NRG did his best to absorb all of it- but there was so much- it leaked past him seeping into the crowd of people nearby who were running away yelling.

NRG grunted as he attempted to take in more of the energy, it seemed into his body before it stopped and he put his hands upwards releasing the giant amount of excessive energy directly into the sky, to avoid any civilians. Soldier Boy was out cold.

Ben turned to Jet-Ray, grabbing him with his legs and flying off.

This time it was the other Ben who woke up confuse, but he had the luxury of waking up in a bed

"So your the infamous Soldier Boy."(Butcher)

"Move it Brit."(Soldier Boy)

"Well that's a bit rude."(Butcher)

"You mean a Brit rude?"(Ben)

"Heh- Good one kid. I still need to go."(Soldier Boy)

"Sorry can't let you do tha-"(Ben)

He barely ducked out of the way of the man's fist, which cracked and broke apart the cement wall

"WOAH THERE BUCKAROO! We just want to talk! You owe me remember? I saved you."(Ben)

"Then I saved you. We're even."(Soldier Boy)

"Then I saved you again from commiting mass murder and brought you back to America."(Ben)

"Goddamnit fine. What do you two want."(Soldier Boy)

"For you to help us bring down a Tyrant."(Butcher)

"..Who is it this time? Germans? Russians? Red coats?"(Soldier Boy)

"An American Supe."(Ben)

"..What's the issue with that?"(Soldier Boy)

"Well he's the new you."(Butcher)

"Hold it buddy, there is no new me! I'm me!"(Soldier Boy)

"Wrong, this guy, Homelander, basically a psychotic superman."(Ben)

"Oh god one of those. What is it Superman Red Son?"(Soldier Boy)

"The fuck are you on about?"(Butcher)

"You know about comics?"(Ben)

"Yeah. Before Vought made compound V and started drugging people comics still existed-"(Soldier Boy)

"Compound V?"(Butcher)

"Yeah, they put the blue shit in you and you get powers."(Soldier Boy)

"Wait.. That's like- Unknown information dude-"(Ben)

"Supes are fucking lab rats?"(Butcher)

"Yeah.. Is that not- Is it not public information?"(Soldier Boy)

"No."(Butcher)

"All right, I don't give a fuck. I'm here for two things. Kill the rest of Payback, and live the rest of my life! And.. and get laid for the first time in.. How many years has it been since I've been gone?"(Soldier Boy)

"Wait who's payback?"(Ben)

"My old team."(Soldier Boy)

"We'll help you kill em' if you help us kill Homelander."(Butcher)

"Hold on, I don't do murder."(Ben)

"You will. It's the only way to live in this world. Especially if your goal is beating someone. Sometimes.. sometimes, despite how much you hate it. It's necessary."(Soldier Boy)

"No.. I've never- I've- killing is a last resort!"(Ben)

The soldier sighed. As if it weren't the first time he heard that

"I'll help you.. defeat Homelander on the condition that you help me off Payback, and get my suit back."(Soldier Boy)

"Who has it?"(Ben)

"The Legend."(Butcher)

"Of fucking course he does. Sorry about the wall."(Soldier Boy)

"Walls are replaceable, the kid isn't."(Butcher)

He warned despite not having any powers of his- hey Ben had an idea.

"So- What if we take away Homelanders powers?"(Ben)

"What?"(Soldier Boy)

"Why woul-"(Butcher)

"To him, humans are nothing, weak little shits. If he loses his compound V.. he becomes one of us, not immune to anything anymore. A rocket, a gun, fuck- you could just beat him to death, imagine how that would be for him?"(Ben)

".. fuckin' Diabolical! Well done Tennyson, except we have no clue how to do that."(Butcher)

"Well.. Alright fair enough. But if Compound V is in the bloodstream-"(Ben)

"It could be extracted."(Frenchie)

"Where the fuck did you come from?"(Butcher)
