I turned to face Momota "honestly, I tried becoming friends with you guys but clearly it wasn't going to happen. And as to what they think of me now...I don't care anymore"

I then started to leave the room and Momota called out "it doesn't have to be like that you know..." and I stopped.

"I think we both know I've gone to far to come back Momota" I said and left the room.

I checked my phone to see messages from the members telling me to come over, ah shoot I'm late.

I then started to run over and we gathered behind the diner. Takashiro groaned and signed 'do we really need to be next to the dumpsters'

I nodded 'yes, they wouldn't have let us in the resturant they treat us like rats' I signed and got comfy.

I noticed Tsuki was bouncing a lot on her crate and signed to her 'why are you acting like a firework about to go off' and she paused.

'Kiibo wants to hang out with me' she signed and I could tell she was happy. It was no secret in our group Tsuki has been having a crush on Kiibo since sixth grade.

So of course naturally as friends we teased her about it ever so often. It's only fair, it happens to everyone when they get a crush. Except for the ones who never had one like me.

'You better go easy on my cousin only I am allowed to tease him' I signed and Tsuki laughed and nodded 'fine I'll go easy on him' and Kazue groaned.

'Enough about romance drama no one cares at all let's go see Genkei already' They signed and I nodded 'let's go if he actually wakes up we can strangle him then for making us worried sick' and Eiji laughed 'this will be just like how you got back at Takashiro when he dropped you from the roof in fifth grade'

'Oh thanks for reminding me I've been meaning to say this for a while' I started signing before screaminv"TAKASHIRO YOU DUMB*SS!" Everyone except Takashiro laughed along with Chiasa who just smiled as if she got the idea on what I just said.

We walked onwards more my mind drifting away, I miss back when Chiasa could hear us...she hasn't talked since she went fully deaf, while it makes sense...I miss hearing her voice. She doesn't even laugh as much anymore! I miss that laugh that sounded similar to a pig snort!

We then walked into the hospital "excuse me younglings not to sound rude but get the HE** out of this hospital" the receptionist called. I gritted my teeth "why the heck not? We're visiting a friend who's staying here" I said as calmly as I could as Mirai was translating for Chiasa.

"Because you kids are covered in garbage and reek of smoke, your thugs aren't you?" They asked, yeah maybe being near a dumpster wasn't a good idea. Or having Takashiro take a smoke before we came in.

"You know what I don't care- SECURITY!" The receptionist called and we groaned "we're leaving we're leaving" Eiji said and we all left the building.

'So who wants to be the one to sneak back in and help us get in' I signed the second we were out.

'Not Takashiro since we already know his experience with rope' I nodded, I still remember that day clear as ever.

'Oh come on that was three years ago' Takashiro signer while groaning, 'and I am probably the only one big enough and strong enough to even get you guys up there' I raised an eyebrow 'what's that supposed to mean' I signed.

Better choose your next words carefully.... 'well no offense Kokichi but you haven't grown since fifth grade along with Takura Chiasa Riko and Mirai actually Kokichi your the shortest'

The only sound that could be heard was the wind.

And the sounds of a teenager being beaten up by some teens who could pass off as kids.

'Ok does anyone else want to comment on our height' I signed glaring at them.

'Nope' Eiji quickly signed 'I'll go up' he signed when I noticed Chiasa tugging my shoulder, what is Takashiro in need of an ambulance?

I then noticed a rope getting tossed out a window and someone escaping the hospital.

'Ten bucks says it's Genkei for plot convenience' Takura said 'yeah right' I signed and I rolled my eyes, like as if something like that can happen-

I looked closer at the figure and curse. It was Genkei.

'Heck yeah give me my ten dollars guys' Takura signed and held out his hands for collection.

'Actually no one ever agreed to that' Mirai signed giggling and Takura groaned in despair.

'Hey guys-' he started when Takura interrupted 'd*mn it couldn't you have waited five minutes you lost me who knows how much money'

Genkei just stared at them in shock 'I literally wake up after being asleep for' Genkei then stopped before signing 'how long was I out' they quickly signed.

'Just a day' Takashiro signed 'so Takura only lost a whole day worths of sleep' Takura punched him in the arm and Mirai signed 'how did you get out of your room though, and you have normal clothing?'

Genkei then stopped and looked at us confused 'I thought you guys left it there, after all my parents probably haven't visited me' That's strange...I forgot about his parents though.

I sighed. He's just like me back then...I guess that means it has gotten better...she actually checks on me...she never used to back then...

Should I...give her a second chance? I shook my head to myself, no. I refuse to believe in the lie she's better just because he's gone...not while I can still remember how she looked back then.

I got tapped on the shoulder and snapped back into reality, Chiasa looked at me concerned 'Kichi?' She signed.

'Sorry I was thinking of how to mess with Harukawa when she came back from her trip' I signed and she stared at me before shrugging.

She could tell I was lying huh? Doesn't even matter how I sign and how I appear, guess that's what comes from knowing someone for a long time.

'Hey I wanted to ask you guys something' I signed and they looked over at me.

'I realized it when Genkei got hurt, you guys understand right? About what we are risking with messing with the higher ups in this town'

They looked down for a bit before nodding, 'I think it is safe to say no one in this town appreciates or likes us, even before we pranked people' I signed.

'I made DICE to have friends, to have fun messing with people so we could all have fun together' the memory was still lingering in my head from all those years ago.

'But I don't want you guys to get hurt because of us so' I paused and took a deep breath 'we should disband'

Immediately Mirai screamed "NO! I DON'T CARE IF I GET HURT PLEASE DON'T GET RID OF DICE!" she screamed.

"Kokichi don't go crazy, it's just a small scratch-" Genkei started and I shook my head "half of yout face is literally wrapped in bandages, someone f*cking attacked you" I said.

"Come on you can't be serious Kokichi, is it that you don't want us to mess with people anymore? We can just stop till we figure out who attacked Genkei we don't need to disband" Kazue stated.

"But-" I started and Chiasa walked up to me and placed a finger on my lips.

'I'll gladly follow you guys to death' she signed with a smile 'so don't worry about anything ok?' I shook my head 'I don't want to force you guys to-'

'This is of my own will, so if it goes wrong it's my bad ok?' She signed. I just stared.

'Let's make a code or something' Takashiro said.

'Like a promise, so we don't get away with trying to so crazy stuff like this unless it's something we really want and thought hard about'

They really aren't going to listen to me...they really don't want this group to be lost.

I don't either but...what if I lose them...or they end up hating me? Because I made them do those things.

'Fine, but if it gets really bad were done no excuses' I signed and they nodded.

'You guys can make the rules, one each does that seem fair?' I signed and they nodded.

'Me first! Vow one never mess with someone just to make them feel bad or to cause them pain' Riko signed.

'Vow two even if your angry or scared talk to thw other's' Eiji signed.

'Vow three, don't give up on yourself even if the going may be tough because your not alone' Takashiro said with grinning. Sounds like something the idiot would say...those two probably would make good friends.

'Vow four, rememeber to EAT and actually take care of yourself' Genkei said glaring at Takura. Takura groaned 'oh come on I only forgot to eat for four days' he signed.

'Sure you forgot, sure you did' Genkei signed. Oh boy...not this again. Takura used to suffer a lot from anorexia and would constantly make himself sick because everyone kept telling him he was fat and ugly.

He did that for a whole year until he eventually got hospitalized, Genkei literally would monitor his *ss from then on to make sure he was eating.

'Vow five, trust each other' Takura signed.

'Vow six, as a member of DICE you should try to stay positive' Mirai signed with a smile.

'Vow seven, the world is sh*t absolute f*cking sh*t so never contribute into that' Nao said 'also this is not a vow but whoever keeps stealing my chips stop it!' I laughed.

'Vow eight, have fun, no matter what just remember to have fun being a member' Tsuki signed.

'Vow nine, if you do leave this group' Kazue started 'we all wish you well wherever you go from here'

'Vow ten, even if it's scary and you feel completly alone remember our vows to each other' Chiasa signed 'and never forget the promise we made even when we are old and gray'

"You swear as a member of DICE to always live your life to the fullest? Never take away a second!" I asked them while signing for Chiasa.

"Yes supreme Panta lord!"
