(Gold's POV)

"NO!" I hear someone yell.

I was about to fall until I felt myself being pulled away.

I was thrown onto the snowy ground.

I look up to see everyone.

From the looks of it, Silver and Red were the ones that threw me.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING, YOU IDIOT?" Silver yells.

I look away.

I got up and ran up to the edge of the cliff. I was about to jump but Red and Silver blocked the way.

"Why?" Yellow asks with tears in her eyes, "Why are you doing this?"

"Running away is one thing," Ruby says, "but to try to KILL yourself?"

Everyone is now blocking the way of the cliff.

I feel my bruised face getting angry.

I mouth, "I JUST NEED TO SEE HER AGAIN!" 

I let all of my tears out. Everyone has a shocked expression on their faces.

None of them have EVER seen me cry before.

"Get out of my way!" I say, softly.

"NO!" Blue yells.

My Pokemon are staring at me.

Everyone brings their Pokemon out of their Pokeballs.

I snapped my fingers and pointed at me.

My Pokemon are hesitant but send their attacks in my direction!

I close my eyes. 

I hear an explosion and it sounds like it was right in front of me.

I open my eyes to be surrounded in smoke.

I'm too weak to run anymore so I just stay on the ground.

The smoke is cleared.

"Gold," Crystal says, "think... about how this will affect us... if you DIE!"

I felt guilt rush over me.

I mouth, "I HAVE NO ONE ANYMORE! NO ONE! MY MOTHER WAS ALL I HAD!"

More tears fall onto my face. I don't sob or anything... just tears.

Everyone gasps. No one has heard me talk this harshly about myself before.

I continue on, "I just... I just need to see her again!"

That was when Silver grabbed me and slammed my body against the cave wall.

"You feel like a brother to me!" He says. My eyes widen. "Losing you is basically losing a part of my family! We can't lose any more of that!"

I push Silver away from me.

I lean against the hard, rocky cave.

"Gold," Blue says, "you already lost your voice! Losing your life is too much!"

I grabbed a piece of rock and dug it into the palm of my hand.

"STOP!" Red yells. He grabs the rock and throws it off the cliff.

He turns back to me, "WOULD YOU STOP?! WE'VE ALL LOST SOMETHING! YOU'RE NOT ALONE! I LOST MY MEMORIES!"

I mouth with an angry expression, "But you got those back."

Red is taken aback. He moves back with the others.

"Don't you remember?!" Crys yells, "I confessed to you!"

I mouth, "You're all better off without me!"

Now everyone is taken aback.

"How...how could you SAY that?" Sapphire says.

"Well, what AM I good for?" I mouth.

There's a long silence...

...

...

...

Finally, "That's what I thought!" I mouth.

I felt my heart stop for a second.

I fell to the ground and then everything is black.
