Chapter 1
After the horrible evening the orphan had, he slowly woke up just right before dawn and slowly sat up on the bed. His back still hurt, pretty much but it felt healed when he placed his hand on his back feeling the wound. Standing up he got his black shirt and put it on with matching jeans, and a cap. He loved the color black. The bag was already ready since yesterday, as he bent down and grabbed it placing it on his back. Pain shot in a speed of light. "Agh...I have to be careful." He groaned but wore a slight grin on his lips. "Lets get the hell out of here." He Said with a chuckle and walked his way out of the house. Luckily the guardians were sleeping so he won't face any problems now atleast.
The orphanage was just outside Pallet Town so it was like an half hour from the orphanage. Standing there memories flooding over his mind.
*Flashback 3 years ago*
"Professor Oak!" Yelled a young Salvatore dragging on his lab coat as he looked up at his face.
The professor tilted his head down and looked at Salvatore. "Dear child, what do you want now?" He asked in a rather annoyed tone. The young boy had so much questions and it was really annoying him. "Is it about your parents, again?" He asked looking down. Salvatore shook his head nodding. "Okay let me tell you...your parents are bad persons, I mean really bad, so during your birth, when the two were a bit out of focus, we sorta took you from them. It was for the best, they are dangerous." He said with a sad tone, he really liked the boy but if he was going to be raised with that company, a dark future would wait for him then. Salvatore quickly jumped away from him, frowning at him. In confusion and sadness. He couldn't believe what Samuel Oak just told him, his parents weren't evil! "Y-you liar! No No No! I don't want to hear anymore!" The young boy screamed in anger as he ran out of the lab
*End of flashback*
"Foolish professor..." He groaned to himself as he thought about the memories. Luckily he woke up early like he wanted to, then he could choose what Pokemon he wanted to have. No time for standing still, the young man began running through the thick forest, for 20 minutes until he finally arrived at the town. The town wasn't big, smallest in the region probably. With only three houses and one laboratory, which was the reason why he went here, for his first pokemon, a starter.
The future pokemon trainer stepped his way towards the door and cracked it open. "Uhm hello is anyone there?" He asked looking around. The room was completely empty with no people around. Salvatores expression turned from a genuine one into a confused, yet curious one. Taking his steps towards the desk, three pokeballs with the signs under standing what name of the pokemon it was. He stretched his hand towards one of the pokeballs until he was interupted by a cough. "And what do you think you are doing" the professor spoke as he leaned towards the wall watching the teen with a smug. "Uhm nothing sir, nothing really." He replied quickly pulling away his arm. "Just thinking of which one I should choose." He replied as he looked at the three starters. The professor walked up and placed a hand on Salvatores' shoulder. "Are you ready to choose?" Oak asked with a calm tone as he explained the usual about the Pokemon. Salvatore nodded and stretched out his arm and grabbed the Poké Ball on the left side. "A Bulbasaur, well then it's settled." Oak replied and got from his lab coat a PokéDex and five Poké Balls.
"Here are some other items that might be useful. A Journey lies filled with adventures and other Pokemons' to discover. You'll learn how to raise your Pokemon, and you to mature. And dont remember to-" he was interupted by Salvatore. "Shut up!" He shouted as he ran out of the laboratory, slamming the door shut after.
Oak chuckled as he closed his eyes. "That kid might be a problem...don't you think so, Giovanni?" He mumbled to himself.
Salvatore walked his way north towards the next route finding a sign, which stood "route 1"
His lips formed into a wide smirk as he pulled out a pen from the outer pocket on the bag and wrote on the sign "Oak sucks, Salvatore was here." Salvatore placed his pen back in the pocket with a grin. Turning around watching the town. He moved his hand and pointed his middle finger. "See you suckers!" He Said laughing before walking through the passage towards the Route, Bulbasaur sitting on his head, since he let it out immediately.
Underground The Viridian Gym;
A tall slender man, in his mid 30ies sat on the throne like chair in his office. Wearing a black suit, with matching pants. An emblem on his suit, showing a red R.
A blonde haired young woman with a black Team Rocket uniform, walked inside the office. "Sir, it's confirmed that Salvatore has started his journey." She spoke in a formal tone, more than a friendly.
The Rocket Leader nodded picking up his glass of red wine and nodded. "Well then, that's interesting, interesting indeed." He spoke as he took a sip of his wine. "Domino, you have a mission. Befriend the boy, and follow him on his journey." He spoke placing his glass on the desk. "Is that understood?" He asked showing her a glare. Domino nodded, shaking her head. "Well then, you are dismissed." Giovanni spoke nonchalantly swifting with his hand. Domino quickly walked her way out of the office ready for the mission.
The Rocket leader sighed in annoyance and closed his eyes. "So it's finally time...well it has to one day. Isn't that right? Salvatore." He spoke as he picked up a picture of Giovanni in his 20ies with a black haired woman, and a baby. "Show them, the power, the power of Rocket." He responded to himself with a soft grin.
Salvatore, just beeing able to reach the middle of the Route, deep in the forest decided to camp here over the night. The professor have told him many times before to avoid the Gym Leader in Viridian City. He never knew why though. One thing was sure. Salvatore was indeed curious, and would do exactly the opposite thing, than the Professor told him to do.
