I was peacefully sitting in between Harry's legs with my head on his chest. I hadn't a care in the world, as long as I felt his arms around me.

Until I suddenly remembered the note.

"I'm gonna fucking slaughter them," I growled into Harry's chest. He flinched at the venom in my voice.

"Who?"

I snapped my head back around to the crumpled note, still sitting on the floor. I narrowed my eyes at it and made a move to climb off Harry. Not having his hands on some part of my body made me a little unsettled for a moment, but I got over it quickly.

As I stood up, basically every bone in my body cracked. My knees wobbled as I tried to carry myself over to where the balled-up paper was sitting. Merlin, how long have I been sitting?

I scooped it up and walked back over to where Harry was sitting. He opened his arms again, and let me sit in between his legs.

I re-read the note over and over. The more I read it, the angrier I got.

"How did you even believe this rubbish?" I spat. "This doesn't even sound like me." Harry furrowed his eyebrows.

"I suppose not. Though, I don't regret coming up here," He says smugly. "I don't think you do either."

"You hush! I'm trying to come up with a way to make them regret this."

Harry rolled his eyes. "Do we really have to worry about this right now?"

"You don't have to worry about anything. My friends don't even like you."

"Well, that's reassuring."

I laughed and buried my face back into his chest. I deeply inhaled his scent. Harry definitely kept clean. There's never a bad smell on him. I certainly appreciate it.

"I do want to help though," he added. "I'm not sure what I would do, but I sure as hell can try."

"Well, there's not much you can do. I'm thinking I can just give them the silent treatment until they beg me for forgiveness!" I said with an evil smile. Harry softly laughed and rested his chin on my head.

"Are you sure you'd be able to do that?"

"Do what?"

"Not talk?"

I quickly moved my head from under his chin and stared at him with my mouth open, deeply offended.

"I can stop talking when I want! It's you that can never stop blabbing about, Mr. Golden Boy!" I shouted in his face. He just grinned at me.

"Whatever you say, Draco." He mumbled with a smile.

We ended up just sitting in each other's arms, talking about nothing until the sun began rising on the horizon.

"Shit." We both deadpanned at the same time. I turned my gaze from the sunrise to his eyes and gave him one last kiss before I got up again.

Once again, I had to stretch out my stiff limbs. It wasn't nearly as bad as Harry, who didn't have the privilege of getting up earlier as I did. When he stood up, I heard his knees crack incredibly loud. He cursed in pain.

We met back up by the stairs. I took a deep breath and smiled.

"Well, I guess I'll see you later." I breathed.

"I hope sooner than later. Could we meet up again?" He asked, "if you want to of course." I chuckled and wrapped my arms around his neck.

"I'd love that."

I kissed him so easily, you'd forget that a few days before, I threw a chair at him in a blind rage. I never want this to end. It's like I'm dreaming! God, I hope I'm not dreaming.

He embraced me, and we walked down the stairs hand-in-hand, until we got to the bottom and parted ways.

I felt cold without him near me. But I had a reason to start angrily running through the halls back to my dorm.

The fucking note that I shoved in my pocket. I'm gonna make them regret it.

~^~^~^~^~^~

The angry shouting rang through the entire Slytherin house as they all listened in on the rather strange argument I was having with my... friends.

I say friends loosely, because what that note says is not okay in the slightest.

The first thing I did the second I slipped into the Slytherin doors was yell Pansy's name. Of course, it wasn't just her. But knowing Pansy, she probably had the most control over the situation.

The only person that I heard respond was a sixth year that was sleeping on one of the couches for some reason. He growled at me to "shut up!" And I gave him a death stare terrible enough to make him tremble while laying back down.

I stomped up the stairs in an absolute rage. Eventually, I found our shared room door and burst through it so intensely that it made all three of them jerk awake.

Pansy sat up from... my bed? When she sleeps in here. It's usually on the couch. Though I guess she got the chance and she took it. She shot up and hit her hand against the bedside table, trying to reach for her wand.

"What the hell Draco!" She tried to yell, still tired. I could hear Blaise and Theo grumbling into their pillows after the startle. "I thought you were an intruder or something! Some of us fought in a war! And I could've sworn you did too, so I expect you to have more sympathy!"

"Oh, I need to have sympathy? Are you sure? Do you want to read your fucking note again!" I didn't even close the door before speed walking through the room, rather menacingly. I stuffed my hand in my pocket and whipped the crumpled up note right at Pansy's scrunched up face.

She unfolded it, and realization dawned on her face. "Damnit! Why'd he let you read it!" she wailed.

"He what?" I heard Theo's muffled shout from his bed.

"That's not what this is about! Why the hell would you write that?!"

"Well," Pansy started, "We figured it'd get him up there pretty damn fast. And well, considering how disheveled you are, I think our plan worked out just fine."

I turned my head to a mirror above my dresser. My cheeks went scarlet as I stared at myself in the mirror. My hair was an absolute mess. There was not a single hair that was actually in place. I mean, I stopped completely gelling it a long time ago, but this is overkill. It looked like a bunch of rats crawled through it in my sleep.

Yeah. A real special rat.

I suddenly see Pansy's sleep-deprived form pop up next to me in the reflection. She pushed a few of the hairs that were sticking up back down to my head with her palm. When she did that she brushed the collar of my shirt. Something caught her eye, and she looked surprised, and even worse, insanely excited.

"OH MY- follow me to the bathroom please."

I groaned.

"I'm still fucking pissed off Pansy. Don't think you'll get out of your punishment that fast."
