Happy B-Day to our favorite humerous skeleton; Sans! (Aka Classic in the multiverse.)

💠 Chapter 3 - 'English and L/A' 🔪

❤️ Blue's POV 💙

I was practically skipping through the hallways, trying to find my first class. I wasn't even all that bothered that it was taking me a while to find it. I was just so excited!! I couldn't wait to make new friends, meet new people, get it over and done with. Well, okay, maybe I was a little less excited than I said before. Besides, I had already been to highschool and found it just a tad annoying that I had to go again, forced against my will. Well, you had the option to say no, but it was less complicated to say yes. Since, y'know, it was the creator of Sans AUs and you don't exactly want to get on his bad side, or make a bad first-impression. So I just sort of went along with it. Honey (my brother) said that it would probably be a good chance to meet new people and make new friends, which he knew would fully convince me. I was a little confused why it was only the Sanses and not any Papyruses or Asgores or anyone like that, but it didn't bother me enough that I wanted to or would do anything about it.

I looked at my schedule again. My first class was English/LA. It was in the room E2. I wondered if they did that on purpose or not. Being my distracted, not-paying-attention self, I ran into someone. It was honestly bound to happen, in my opinion. Sorta cliché too. I thought to myself.

"Hey, watch it!" Someone, seemingly male, said in a pissed-off tone of voice.

"Sorry, sorry! I wasn't looking where I was going," I apologized, looking at him in the eye.

He didn't seem to like that I was staring into his eye when apologizing, because he quickly averted his. It at least gave me the chance to look at him, though. He had an eyepatch over his left eye that was the color of a very pale dark blue, but his visible eye was red with a snake-like black middle. He was wearing very dark blue-ish purple-ish pants that went right below his knees and were ripped at his knees enough so I could almost see his entire knee. (A/N: Okay, I used the word knee and knees way too much there so sorry about that-) A dark grey shirt with an open hoodie over it that's arms were black with the hood pulled up over his head, but not enough that I couldn't see his hair. His hair started out as a middle-ish sort of grey but seemed to fade into a very dark purple color, all while having the same color of grey as streaks through his skull of hair. (Another A/N (sorry-): Okay I think I'm a bit off my game since it's four in the morning when I'm writing this and I woke up a two, so I'm sorry if my description of him or anything/anyone else is terrible.) He had a dark grey and silver belt on with a small silver chain that ran across his left hip and down a little. His shoes met his pants perfectly and were a light pale blue, with the bottom of them being white. I also noticed the red somewhat-torn-up scarf he had wrapped around his neck that went down to his just above his ankles. That's when it happened. Aw, crap.

"Hey!!" He snapped his fingers in front of my face, snapping me out of my trance. (You see what I did there?)

I looked up at him, just then also noticing how tall he was compared to me. I was exactly 4'11", while he had to be 5' 6". So I had to physically move my head up at him to meet his eyes. Or eye.

"Oh! Sorry, but do you know where this classroom is?" I asked him in a kind voice.

"You know they made maps of the school, right?" Wait they did?!

"Oh, well, yeah! Of course I know that! The um, little, thingy? That was holding them or whatever? Yeah, well, it was out. There weren't any more left," I tried to say in a convincing manner.

He looked at me. He obviously didn't buy it.

"Well, that's weird since the person holding the maps sure had a lot left when I saw them. And I was one of the last people to get a schedule, and therefore get a map, so..." He said, almost in a teasing manner.

I could've sworn I saw a smile threatening to break loose across his stern-looking face.

"Yeah. Weird." I said, sticking with my definitely-true story.

He half smiled. "Yeah, well I suppose it happens. Sometimes. What class do you have? And in what room?"

I smiled openly. "I have English and Language Arts in room E2."

"Huh. Weird coincidence."

"I'm not sure it's actually a coincidence. I think they did it on purpose."

"No, not the fact that English is in room E2, it's the fact that I have the same thing for first period, dumbass."

"Well how was I supposed to know what you were talking about?!" I said in a dramatic fashion, waving my arms up and down at him. I felt like an anime character.

He smiled. "Also, the room is right there."

He pointed to his left and I saw a door with the characters E - 2 above it.

"Oh."

He chuckled a bit.

"What, is this amusing to you?" I asked him, feeling a bit of warmth on my skeletal cheeks, and sounding angry but not actually feeling that way.

"Sort of, yeah," He nodded slightly, still smiling.

"Hmph. I'll see you in class, then," I said, finishing our conversation and turning towards the door.

He followed me as I walked towards and into the classroom. It was a large square of a room, larger than some of the other classrooms that I had, well we're just going to say saw and not walked into accidentally. There were multiple book shelves, and at three of the four walls there were two half-circle desks. Each seemed to hold three people. On the fourth wall on the right side, there was a regular white board, and a smart board to it's left. On the left side of the wall seemed to be the teacher's desk. It was fairly clear except for a computer, some neatly piled papers, two pictures that were faced away from me, and some pens that were different colors and pencils that were very sharp looking inside of a small 'cup' container. In the middle of the room there was a round table with papers on it. Up on the smart board there seemed to be a seating chart. I sat down where it said I should.

There was only one other person at my table so far, and he was seated to my left, leaving the chair to the right of me empty. He was wearing a dark purple cloak and hood with the hood up far enough for me not to get a good look at his hair, a dark grey- almost to the point of black-- blindfold and mask, a lavender colored long-sleeved formal-looking shirt with gold on the collar, sleeves, and buttons, a gold belt that seemed to have a spot to put or hold something, the same color purple pants with more gold on them, and tall black boots with gold in 'X' patterns with a purple jewel where the lines all met, yellow heels, and purple toes. It had to be one of the fanciest people I had ever met. Even UnderSwap's kingdom didn't look as regal as he did. Well, I assumed he was one of the princes I had heard people talking about. He was reading something that he looked pretty in to. He didn't even glance at me when I approached or sat down. Or he did but did it so subtly I hadn't noticed. That could've been the case since, as you may have noticed, I wasn't the best at paying attention.

"Hi! I'm Blue!" I said, setting the empty bookbag (the letter had said to bring one) down.

He looked at me, said nothing, nodded ever so slightly, and went back to reading his book. Is this the mute one? I thought people were joking about it because of how quiet he was or something. I feel like it would be hard to not talk to anyone, ever. I wonder what he's reading. I wonder if he thinks I'm cool. I wonder if being a prince is cool. I wonder if living in a castle is cool. I've heard the ceilings in them are ridiculously high.

"Alright!! Everyone! Settle down, settle down," A tall woman with sort of a 'Karen' haircut said, clapping for us to pay attention to her.

She had really big hoop earrings, and a dress with lots of colors on it in random places. Not the most attractive dress in the world... I thought to myself, feeling a little bit bad about it, but pushing that feeling away. I noticed no one was in the seat to my right. All of the other tables were full, though.

"My name is Mrs. Boluvier. Today you'll get your reading buddies and some work assigned to a book you'll have to read together. First we'll go over the safety measures just in case there's a fire or lockdown of some sort." Mrs. Boluvier started going over the safety protocols.

I made sure to pay attention and try and remember everything she said. The prince next to me seemed to be paying close attention as well, but it was sort of hard to tell since I couldn't see any part of his face. Then I accidentally got distracted by thinking about why he would wear the masks and why he couldn't/wouldn't talk to anyone.

"That's the most important thing," I jerked my attention back to the teacher. "Everybody got that down? You can't forget it!" Wait what did I miss?! What's the most important thing?!  Oh AUs I might die because of my stupidity!! "Okay, good. Now, let's talk about the assignments."

I heard multiple groans when she said that. But I wasn't focused on that at the moment. I was worried about what I shouldn't forget. What did I miss?!

A/N: Considering I woke up at 2am, didn't get enough sleep last night either, stayed up reading Kustard fanfiction, and started this chapter at 4 something and finished it at nearly 5:40am something impresses me.

F SLEEP!!! I AM NOCTURNAL!!

Note: I'm not too sure how much I'll be able to post next week since I'll be out of town and won't be bringing my computer with me. I'll keep you posted though.

I'll add Blue and Dust (that's who Blueberry ran into if you didn't know) to the character profile things later after school.

Now I must act as if I've been asleep this whole time.

Zzzzzz...

Not bad, if I do say so myself.

Again, sorry if the descriptions and stuff are bad. It's really early here.

If you need anything, let me know!
