But he had Tink, Wendy and The Lost boys with him

He wasn't alone and he could choose to stay in the bubble whenever he wanted to ,to hope for theese memories to stay forever in his heart ,to hope that his friends would not leave him , after all he had not  known and connected with people as much as them ever in his life ,there has to be a reason , for all this things .

He thought fear would only make things worse ,we have to learn how to trust life .The only think he should fear is change , because that means he wouldn't change , fearing that something will happen means that you care ,and to care is a wonderful thing ,in a world full of people who forgot to do so .

It is okay to have ups and downs ,thats life and that's what makes it beautiful ,learning to appreciate things and making memories in your loved ones ,that what makes the heart full ,that's what matters in the end ,you are never alone ,you will never be ,sometimes you just can't see it .
