Aarav's pov
Ignorance is bliss unless someone whose attention you crave on yourself all the fucking time is blessing you with it.
If trying to keep her distance from me was her instinct before, she has made it her mission now. She has been doing so for the last ten days. She even threw a fist when the next day she found extra snacks delivered at the door. What kind of husband would I be if I can't bring simple things my wife puts her hands on ?
I know I pushed her buttons enunciating that I've started to make her feel things. Oh my naive Honey-eye doesn't realise how sacred her heart is. And how fucking adamant the devil in me is to prevail it and keep it preserved in the case beside the throne of my inferno where she sits and rules it like a goddess.
She, her heart, even her soul is mine to keep, whether she likes it or not.
I'm a man with fucked up brain and I will fucking turn the world into shreds to keep her incarcerated in my inferno, burning in my arms while I'll burn along with her.
I hurried when the elevator chimed and she quickly shoved her phone in her purse to make her way out and get away from me. Picking and dropping her to her office is now a regular routine for me and I'm not changing it no matter how many times she protests.
Her pace slowed down and so did mine. With her eyes sparkling, her lips quirked up in delight whereas mine twitched in a grim line.
"Kaki, how are you ?" Her shoulders tilted to my chest, an indication for me to behave. And for her sake I put on a smile when the old lady's eyes fell on me and she smiled brighter.
(Aunt)
"Hello Mr. Shubham." I gritted my teeth hating the admiration in her tone. And that creep of a man reciprocated her greeting with a smile of his own. He better stop with those smiles before I shove it in his ass.
Flaring out a breath, I ventured myself closer to her. And though she momentarily stiffened at my move yet feigned to be normal as she spoke, "I hope we didn't interrupt anything important."
That 'we'. I had to stifle the pleased groan so hard which was ready to fly past my throat. 'We' sweetheart, 'we'. And it's always going to be that way. Forever 'Us'.
"No, it's fine. I'm just dropping mummy for a jagrata in the other colony." Nodding in acknowledgment, her eyes round from that creep of a man to the old lady.
And soon enough we parted ways from them and I let out a loud sigh. These goody-two-shoes men are always fucking impeding between me and my Honey-eye.
Sprinting to her, I let my chest lean against her back while she took out the keys from her purse and unlocked the apartment.
"Creepy much." Her breath hitched as my breath fanned across her open neck.
She composed herself and pushed the door open and entered inside as I trailed behind her and her voice. "Doesn't sound good coming from your mouth."
Her loud gasp resonated in the air when I took her by surprise by shoving her abutt the door and putting on the latch behind her. "Being a creep is such a trivial thing, sweetheart. You can't even fathom the things I will do for and because of you."
Her lashes blinked as she stared at me agape with her widened eyes. Pushing back a whisk of her hair behind her ear, I let my fingers have the delight to trail on her cheeks then down to her neck.
My face leaned into her vicinity but before I could feel her lips, her palm acted as a barrier between our mouths and her glaring eyes clashed with my squinted ones. "Enough of your games, Aarav." She asserted, her voice firm. "Three rules and you better follow them."
Ugh! That authority in her tone is such a turn on. But for now I need to know what's cooking in that pretty brain of hers.
"You will not touch me." Her index finger poked above my shirt as she continued. "You will not kiss me." I am loving the feel of her nail softly poking my chest. "You will not invade my personal space."
Without taking my eyes off her, I planted my palms on either side of her and she visibly squirmed caged between me and the door. My lips curled up in a malicious grin knowing I don't need to put my hands on her to have my effect on her.
She is stupid if she thinks I'm a saint who follows stupid ass rules. I'm the devil who makes his own rules and twists and breaks them according to my own convenience.
She asked me not to kiss her, not to touch her and not to invade her personal space. And I'll do the exact opposite.
I'll kiss her until the essence of my beautiful rose is fusing with the forbidden smoky taste of my cigarette.
I'll touch her until every sacred cell of her scorch in the hellish blaze of my inferno.
Invading her personal space is an understatement, I'm going to consume every ounce of her light into the oblivion of my darkness.
Just to not scare her off, I didn't voice it out.
"And what if I don't." I challenged. "You lost your chance when I asked you to leave. Now you're tied with me until we both take our last breath." Willingly or unwillingly.
Her throat wobbled as she forced the lump down, her body stiff with astonishment. "You can't decide for both of us." She glared and a laughter rumbled through my chest.
"Every fucking decision of your life belongs to you except this." I enunciated, my voice curt with finality.
"There's no option for divorce. Neither any chance to get away." I began. "For the next seven lives and if any more life exists after that, you're aligned to me as much as I'm to you." With that I locked our lips together, sealing the oath for eternity.

Pov continues
Working on the weekends despite knowing my wife is at home having a day off, wasn't enough to piss me off that now I've to deal with a bitch pricking at my nerves.
It's like a blue moon when my father and I agree on something common. And we both agreed that it's better if I handle the Singhania daughter.
A knock at the door impedes my thoughts and before I can voice out the permission, a furious Lara barges through the door followed by a very exasperated Mr. Das. I wave Mr. Das to leave before looking at the annoying creature breathing in my cabin.
"I thought we had a deal." I lean further on my desk, not bothering to ask her to have a seat but pleased that she is directly hitting on the topic.
"Exactly" I snorted. "We 'had' a deal." My voice curt as I focused on the exaggeration.
I watch as she grit her teeth, eyes narrowing. "Then why the hell are you messing with all my contracts and my dad's company deals ?"
Without giving out any emotion, I continue to watch her seethe like a dumb witch. "We were promised the deal in return for the marriage. You just can't back out like that."
My lips twitched as I quipped, "I guess I did." All humour evaporates out of my demeanour and my gaze turns hard. "The deal was eligible if I married a Singhania. And from what I know, my wife is a Singh. And the Singhs are now family."
"You have greatly underestimated my grip on the business. And you and your father were dumb enough to think my dad will let your stunt slide." The disputes I have with my father make others see me as a weak bone that can be easily crushed. Such a bummer for them. "Doing business is like being in a feral ocean. And hyenas never survive in there, learn to be a shark."
I'm not like my dad. Mess with the Oberois and I will hunt you down to shambles.
Her lips part in shock as if she is staring at a ghost before her. "You_ you."
Pleased seeing her fumbling like a dumbo, I let the smirk emerge on my lips. "As much as I'm delighted by my marriage, my father taught me not to entertain people like you." I chastise. "Get out."
Her face turns red and her nose flares, another wave of fury ripples her senses. "Is it about Mishika ?" Her eyes meet mine. "What magic has she put on you in the last five months that you are speaking a completely different language ? What her ugly ass_"
The abrupt growl that rumbled through my chest made her jump on her spot and before she could decipher, I was towering before her. "You don't speak shit about any Oberoi, especially when you are standing in their damn building."
"It's insulting that you think you can stand anywhere near my wife's level." Her face drained of its colour but I'm in no mood to stop. "Speaking shit about my wife is equal to blasphemy."
"I'm very much enticed to turn your and your family's life upside down. Don't push me into doing it." If they are dumb more than what I've anticipated then they will think I'm giving hollow threats. And I'll very much enjoy witnessing them realise how wrong they were. I just had a demo now.
"You won't. Aarav_"
"Call me Mishika's husband." My voice turns smooth as my tongue savours my Honey-eye's name on its tip. "I like the sound of that."
Fury waves through my veins as without my permission the cabin's door creaks open with an anxiously smiling Mr.Das peeking inside. However the sight of my breathtaking wife camouflages any other thoughts out of my head and the entire world fixates on her.
She walks further inside, her confused gaze swaps from me to Lara, who looked as if she wanted to hit her own self or someone else. Lara discreetly scrutinise Mishika's every step and to my contentment, my baby doesn't stop to greet Lara and walk straight to me.
"Maa said we should have lunch together." A soft gasp vent past her lips as I ventured her close to myself, her rounding gaze finally soulfully settling on me. "What is she doing here ?"
I dip my head low, dropping a kiss on the side of her head before taking a sniff of her addictive coco-honey fragrance. "Nothing that should stress you, darling."
My gaze lifts up to Mr. Das who was looking in another direction but quickly gets alert as I clear my throat. "Show Ms. Singhania her way out. She is interrupting private moments."
And Mr.Das was quick to oblige on what he was asked to do. Throwing a dirty look in our direction, Lara stomps out and Mishika relaxes further before scooting away from my arms. Whatever fight she has against me she keeps it out from the sight of others. So much that it has now started to feel like our own personal thing.
"Let's go." My arms find their way to the small of her back as I usher her out of the cabin to dad's cabin.
"Your cabin isn't soundproof." I hear her mutter softly.
Tightening my grip on her, I lean my face closer to her and whisper into her ear, "Because it isn't our bedroom, baby."
Her face heats up and she glares at me before looking away.

Mishika's pov
Lara di's face red in rage was a stark contrast of the satisfaction Aarav had on his face.
Aarav is cocky enough to neglect someone's existence as if they are mere pebbles thrown on the road. However once the devil decides to acknowledge someone, he can be bluntly cruel that makes the person go through hell just by his words.
He only cognizes someone's presence unless he has to destroy it or to build it. There's hardly anything in the middle of that.
But I've felt it both. His presence manages to fill me with warmth that is so forbidden seeping from the devil, but simultaneously the chill that surges through my body in his presence never subside.
I force myself to not think about what little I heard from outside his cabin and stifle the urge to glance his way.
"Speaking shit about my wife is equal to blasphemy."
"Call me Mishika's husband." "I like the sound of that."
Pushing another bite into my mouth, I tried to focus on the rich taste of spices of the kofta with plain rice rather than his words ringing in my ears.
Constantly fighting from the emotions he makes me feel is draining me out. But I can't help it. Falling for him wouldn't have been so tough if I could simply eliminate the past.
It feels like back home with my mumma and papa. Papa is messy in the kitchen but always lends a hand to help maa. We three used to have meals together like this. We then helped maa in collecting the dishes and lunch boxes before retreating away to give space to maa and papa ji.
When we entered back into Aarav's cabin, I couldn't suppress the yawn and then blushed because I saw that he had caught me doing the same. "I'll just go back for a siesta."
Although his voice interrupted me before I could take a step. He rounds to the sofa in his cabin and pushes a little liver at its side before pushing the headrest back. And it transformed into a small sleeping couch.
Grasping my hand, he led me closer to it. "It's quite comfortable to sleep." I shift in uncertainty on my spot before laying on it. I try to use my dupatta to cover myself since it's uncomfortable for me to sleep without anything to cover myself with. My wriggles seize when I feel him tucking me with his blazer.
His cologne filled into my nostrils and my eyelids began to droop. Amidst this I heard his faint voice asking someone to not disturb him for the next few hours. I let out a sigh feeling a hand caressing over my tummy before dozing off to slumber.
