Finally, my dreaded day came.

The day Jin leaves the school and the day I meet Jin's parents.

I was so nervous I couldn't even think straight.

"It's going to be okay." Jin says for the millionth time this morning.

The only good thing about today was that I got to get out of class.

"I hope so." I mumble as we all pile into the car.

We were on our way to the place the ceremony would be held and I felt like I was going to pass out at any given moment.

"I'm so excited!" Hyungwon cries.

He had tagged along with us even though Fei wanted him to drive with her.

She wasn't mad or anything, probably just disappointed.

I would have been too.

"I'm not." I mumble.

Jin grabs ahold of my hand as we pull up outside the place.

"Ready?" He asks.

I look at him for a second before letting out a breath.

"Ready."

Jin left me.

He said he would be by my side the whole time but he had to go be seated.

I was on edge and I had every right to be.

Currently, I was sitting beside Jimin and the others.

I scanned the area for Jin and spotted him in the chairs of people ready to get out of college.

The moment was pretty bitter sweet.

Just as I go to sit I feel a tap on my shoulder.

"Are you y/n?"

It was an older lady who still looked pretty damn young.

"Yes?"

It came out as a question.

Next thing I know I'm being pulled into her arms.

"Oh sweetie I've heard so much about you! It's good to finally meet you in person." She says, squeezing every drop of air from my body.

"Honey, let her breathe." I hear another voice say and the lady pulls back and giggles.

"I'm Sorry dear. I'm just so excited to meet our soon to be daughter in law!"

Daughter in law... heard so much about you..

My eyes widen.

These were Jin's parents.

"Don't Just stand there, bow!" I hear one of the guys hiss from behind me.

"No, there's no need for that. We're practically family now." Jin's father says with a bright smile.

He had a scary aura but he seemed like a really sweet guy.

"Oh I'm just so excited to meet you!" Jin's mother says as she pulls me into another bone crushing hug.

If she always hugged like this I'm not sure I would live to see a wedding.

"Our son really loves you ya know!" She beams.

"I really love him too."

That was the truth.

"I'm glad to hear that." His father says with a smile.

"It's starting!" I hear people say.

"We should sit." They say and I bow and offer them my seat, telling the guys to scoot down more.

When the ceremony starts I watch as everyone begins to get their degrees.

When Jin comes on stage I feel tears burning my eyes.

Next is Yoongi then Hyungwon.

This moment was really bringing out my emotions.

I wasn't ready to see them leave.

Not now, not ever.

When the ceremony finally ends we all meet back up.

"I'm so proud of you honey!" Jin's mother cried as she throws herself at him.

"I'm proud of you son." His Dad says as he hugs him too.

When they pull back Jin gives me an apologetic look.

"I see you've met my parents." He says.

I force a smile onto my face and nod.

"She's just at the sweetest little thing!" His mom says as she proceeds to squeeze my cheeks.

Jin laughs along with the other guys.

"Long time no see, how have you been boy?" I hear and turn to see Yoongi standing in front of Jin's Dad.

"I've been well, sir." Yoongi bows.

"I'm glad to hear that. Congratulations today. Your Dad will be proud." He says as he pulls him into a hug and pats him on the back.

Yoongi bows again and walks off.

I wonder where Yoongi's family is...

"We're still going out for dinner, right. I would love to get to know y/n more!" Jin's mother says in which they reply with a nod and a quick yeah.

"Okay, let's go." She says as she begins to pull me along with her.

I hear Jin laugh from behind me as he and his dad start to talk.

I was glad his mother had already taken a liking to me.

I was grateful for that.

"So, how long have you lived in Seoul?" Jin's father asks.

"Almost four years now." I say.

"And you've been dating Jin for?" He asks.

"Almost three."

It was weird to say it out loud.

It didn't feel like him and I had been together that long but I'm glad we had been.

"Has he asked you to marry him yet?" His mother blurts out.

"I haven't." Jin answers for me.

"What's taking you so long boy?" His father asks.

"Actually," Jin says as he stands up from the table and gets down on one knee in front of me.

My eyes widen as I hear his mother beginning to freak out behind me.

"Y/n, I know you want to wait so I don't expect us to get married right now but I love you. I have since the first day I saw you. I want be to with you for the rest of my life, if you'll let me that is." Jin says, his soft eyes sparkling.

I felt tears coming to my eyes.

Yes, I want to be with this man for the rest of my life.

"Yes, Of course." I say, tearing spilling from my eyes.

The people around us started cheering as Jin pulled me into his arms.

I bury my face into his shoulder as he tells me how much he loves me.

When he pulls back he slips the ring on my finger and kisses me.

Right now, I couldn't stop smiling.

After dinner Jin and I said our goodbyes to his parents then headed home.

On the car ride back I kept looking at my hand that was rested on Jin's.

I couldn't believe this was actually happening..

"I told you they would love you." Jin finally says.

I smile as I look over at him.

"I love you."

"I love you too." He smiles as he squeezes onto my hand.

When we pull up at the house I see Yoongi sitting on the front porch with his head down.

"Go ahead." Jin says as he kisses me then heads inside.

I make my way over to Yoongi and sit down beside him.

He notices me and gives me a sad smile.

"I see the dinner went well." He says and I can see him looking at the ring on my finger.

"Yeah." I say as I turn my hand over so he doesn't have to see it.

"You don't have to hide it from me y/n. I'm happy for You two, Really, I am." Yoongi says.

"I'm sorry things weren't different." I say and he instantly knows what I mean.

"Don't apologize. Everything happens for a reason and you were meant to be with jin." he says.

His words and his smile were genuine.

"Thank you Yoongi." I smile as I lean my head against his shoulder.

"'No need to thank me. I'll always care about you y/n." Yoongi says softly.

I smile as I stare out in front of me.

Yoongi Really was a sweet guy and I know one day he'll find someone that will love him just as much as he loves them.

I know that for a fact.

After my talk with Yoongi I headed inside only to find Jin sitting on my bed.

"How did it go?" He asks once he sees me.

"It went well." I smile as I sit down beside him.

"I'm glad." He says.

I lay down and flick the light off.

When Jin lays down too he wraps his arms around me and pulls me into his chest.

"I'm really glad that you decided to marry me." He says.

"Me too." I smile.

"I promise I will make you happy until death do us part." Jin says as he kisses me gently.

"I love you Jin." I say, a huge smiling spreading across my face.

"I love you too y/n and I always will, forever."

Forever.

It sounded absolutely perfect to me.
