y/n;
Soon enough, everything blew over.
No one talked about the mistake I had made and I was grateful for that.
Before I knew it, the end of the school year was approaching fast.
I was excited yet I wasn't at the same time.
After this year that means the following year will be Jin's last.
We're both growing up so fast it seems.
"Can you believe that tomorrow is already the last day of school? It feels like we just started yesterday!" Taehyung explodes.
"I don't want to believe it." I say.
"She's going to miss me too much." Yoongi says and we all look at him.
"Yeah right. It's me she'll miss, not you." Jin scoffs.
"I'll miss both of you." I say and Yoongi grins and leans back into the couch.
"I can't believe it's going to be your last year in college. I just got there." I sigh.
"I've been meaning to ask you something for awhile now." Namjoon starts.
"What is it?" I ask, turning my attention to him along with everyone else.
"When do you plan on moving out of your parents house? You're an adult now after all." He says.
"I hadn't really thought about it. Since they're never really home it already feels like I'm living alone." I say honestly.
"Can I suggest something?" Hoseok says.
"What is it?" I ask.
"Move In with us."
Everyone looks at him then at me.
"I can't just move in with you guys." I say, taken back.
"Why not? It sounds like a good idea to me." Namjoon grins.
"What if you guys break up?"
Yoongi's question brings a silence across the room.
"We would never." Jin says, his voice serious.
"How can you be so sure?" Yoongi asks back.
"We can't be sure." I say.
"Exactly. So it isn't really a good idea." Yoongi says.
"Do you just not want her to live here? That's a horrible excuse. Even if they did break up we're still all friends here." Jungkook shoots.
"It's not that I don't want her to live here. It's just- where would she even sleep?" Yoongi sighs.
"In my bed, duh." Jin says from beside me.
"That's not a good idea." Yoongi was quick to say.
"Why not?"
"I like to sleep. How am I supposed to sleep when you guys are going to be busy doing stuff with each other?" Yoongi says.
He had a point.
Jin and I wouldn't have a chance to be intimate with each other if there was another body in the room.
"I'll give up my room."
Everyone looks in Jungkook's direction.
"You don't even live here yet." Taehyung points out.
"Yeah but I have my own room here. I'll just sleep in Jimin's room."
"That's hyung to you!" Jimin whales.
"Really?" I ask.
"Of course. If you lived with us things would be more interesting and Jin-hyung would definitely be happier." Jungkook smiles.
"I have to talk with my parents but if all of you are 100% Okay with it then okay." I say.
Everyone turns to look at Yoongi.
He's silent for a moment then he sighs.
"Okay okay whatever. Just don't wake me up."
I laugh and nod.
"Understood."
Now to talk my parents into this.
•••
When I get home I'm surprised to see both my mother and father seated at the table.
"Hey, I didn't know you guys would be home." I say as I set my bag down and walk towards them.
"It just happened this way. How was School?" My mom smiles.
"It was great. I actually wanted to talk to you guys about something." I say, sitting down across from my mom.
"What is it? Is everything okay?"
She sounded concerned.
It wasn't everyday that I sat them down to talk like this.
"Yeah, everything is fine. I just want to talk to you both about something really big that came up." I say.
They both exchange glances.
"Well, What is it?" My father asks.
"As you know, I'm an adult now. Although I can make this decision on my own, I want to run it past you guys." I say.
"Come on, y/n. Stop beating around the bush." My mom says impatiently.
"The guys want me to move in with them."
I said it quickly and suddenly.
"Absolutely not."
My fathers tone was a serious one.
"Why not? I can't live here all my life and besides, it's only right next door. Isn't that better then me moving out of the country or something?" I ask.
After I say that no one speaks.
"Come on, Please."
My voice was in the form of a whine.
After a couple more exchanged glances my dad finally speaks.
"We'll think about it."
And that was all he said.
Instead of pressuring further I dropped it for now and headed to my bedroom.
••
When I got into my room I instantly spotted Jin sitting on the roof.
"Hey." I say as I crack the window open.
It seems like it had been forever since we were both out here together.
"Hey. Did you talk to your parents?" Jin asks as I join his side.
"Yeah and sadly, no luck." I sigh.
"I'm sure they'll come around. They like me don't they?" Jin asks.
He sounded worried almost.
"I'm sure they do. You haven't given them a reason not to." I point out.
He agrees and nudges my shoulder.
"On the brighter side, tomorrow is the last day of school."
Jin was clearly very happy and I know I sure as hell was too.
You know besides the whole Jin thing.
"I'm still upset that you're going to be a senior next year. I just got there and you're already leaving soon." I pout.
Jin chuckles as he scoots closer and pulls me into his chest.
"That's why I want you to move in with us. Even having you next door is too far away. I want you in my arms all the time." Jin says.
"I want to move in too. I just have to figure out how to get my parents to agree to it." I say.
"I have an idea." Jin says, a grin on his face.
I tilt my head to the side in confusion.
What is he up to now?
•••
"A dinner get together?"
We were all in a state of confusion.
"Yeah, why not? It's a great idea! We sit down together to eat and show them how much we care about y/n and why it's a good idea for her to move in with us."
Jin was beaming with excitement at his own idea.
"Are you sure that will even work?" Jungkook asks.
"Of course it will!" Jin shoots back confidently.
"I don't know..my parents can be pretty hard headed." I say.
It was the truth.
The cold hard truth.
"Yeah and so can we. We aren't giving up, no matter how long it takes."
Jin sounded confident and maybe too confident.
"What if that doesn't work? Then what?" Yoongi asks.
"It'll work, trust me!" Jin smiles as he throws his arms around me.
"When should we do it?" Hoseok asks.
The Smile on Jin's face answered the question before he even spoke.
"Tonight."
