"I can't believe it's the day we graduate!" Taehyung says happily.

"I know. It went by so fast." I say as I look at myself in the mirror.

"Are the guys already here?" I ask.

"Yeah. They texted me a couple minutes ago." Jimin nods.

It was almost time for us to walk and get our diplomas and I had to admit that I was a bit nervous.

My parents were here cheering me on and so were the guys.

"Ready everyone?!" Our principal calls out and ushers people to line up.

One by one, we get our diplomas.

As soon as it's my turn I feel the excitement boiling up inside of me.

I shake hands with the people and finally that diploma is all mine.

When I get to my parents they waste no time in smothering me in hugs.

"We're so proud of you sweetie!" My mom says as tears fall from her eyes.

After I hug both of them I see that the guys are seated right beside them.

"Congratulations!"

Jin is the first one to hug me.

He wraps his arms around me tightly and I hug back.

"Would you look at that. I finally graduated." I laugh.

"I'm proud of you." He says once he pulls back.

To my surprise, he kisses me.

My eyes widen at the sudden kiss.

When he moves back he pulls his lips in and sits down.

No one questions it at the moment but I knew they would say something later.

After the ceremony we all went out to eat.

"Are you two dating?" Is the first thing my mother asks.

"Mom!" I hiss.

"We're not calling it that." Jin says and they look at me confused.

"Can we not talk about this now."

"You didn't tell us you were dating him." My Dad continues.

"We're not dating. You guys wouldn't understand." I sigh.

"We're just friends?"

It came out as a question.

"Yeah because I totally kiss all of my friends too." Yoongi scoffs.

"Let's talk about this later. Right now you should be proud of us." I say as I smile at Tae and Jimin.

"We are. We're very proud." My mom says.

"Good. I worked really hard to graduate." I say.

"I know you have." My Dad says.

I had to admit, it was weird being with them and my parents at the same time.

"But I mean..if we were to date would you accept that or?" Jin asks out of nowhere.

Now everyone was looking at him.

My mother looks between Jin and I with a look I didn't understand.

"If she really loved you then yes, I suppose so." My mom says.

I was surprised by her answer.

"I agree. We just want our little girl to be happy. It's not like you're thirty or anything. You guys aren't even that far apart in age. Besides, y/n is an adult now. She's old enough to make her own decisions."

My dad's words struck my heart.

It was as if I had been needing to hear those words all along.

"Thank you, sir." Jin bows his head.

Yes, I am an adult now.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with me dating Jin.

If that's the case then why do I still feel this way?

After dinner we headed back home.

Jin and I parted way and I was currently being forced to talk with my parents.

"We know that you'd never do anything irresponsible and you know that we trust you. If you want to be with Jin then we won't stop you." My mom says.

"Okay." I say simply.

"You can always talk to us if you need someone."

"I know. Thank you." I smile and turn on my heels.

"We're very proud of you!" My Dad calls out as I make my way upstairs.

When I get into my room I fall back onto my bed.

Today had been a long day but over all, I was proud of myself.

I had finally graduated and that was an amazing feeling.

The only thing I could think of right now that would be perfect is cuddling.

I pull out my phone and scroll to Jin's number.

Y/n: Are you busy?

The text came back within a minute.

Jin: No. Why? 🤔
Y/n: Do you want to cuddle?
Jin: What kind of question is that? Ofc I do.
Y/n: My window is unlocked.
Jin: I'll be over in five.

I smile and set my phone down then wait.

I wasn't gonna lie, I was excited.

Cuddling was just nice ya know.

After a couple minutes I hear my window open and I look over to see Jin.

He was wearing a black hoodie and black sweats.

His hair was pushed back and messy and he looked hot. (As always)

"Hey." He smiles.

"Hey."

I was smiling too.

"I was surprised when you texted me. I didn't think you would." He says.

"Why wouldn't I?" I laugh as I move over so Jin can get on the bed.

"I don't know." He laughs as he slips under the blankets.

He moves close and wraps his arms around me from behind, his chin resting on my shoulder.

"This isn't awkward is it?" He asks.

"A bit but it's okay." I laugh.

"I know I already said this but I'm proud of you. I'm also happy that you'll be going to school with me next year." Jin says and I can hear the smile in his voice.

"Me too." I say honestly.

"You know, y/n. I'm really glad you decided to give this a shot." He says.

I turn so that I'm facing him now.

"Me too." I say, my voice hushed.

Jin smiles and leans forward, kissing my forehead gently.

"I'm looking forward to whatever the future is going to bring."

I smile at Jin's words as I move closer to him and bury my face in his chest.

I'm excited to see what the future is going to bring too..
