"Does the word illegal mean nothing to you?!" Yoongi yells angrily as he jerks Jin backwards.
"It's not what it looks like."
"Really? because it looks like you're fucking making out with a minor, Jin!"
Yoongi was practically steaming from the ears.
"I'm seventeen. I'm old enough to decide who I kiss." I say back and Yoongi snaps his head in my direction.
"You may think this isn't that big of a deal but you're a minor y/n! Although the age gap doesn't seem that big you're still seventeen and that's the problem here. According to the law, it's illegal for you to be with anyone over the age of eighteen!" Yoongi says, his eyes hard.
"It's not like I'm doing anything sexual. All we did was kiss." Jin says.
"How many." Yoongi asks in a low voice.
"Huh?"
"How many times have you guys kissed?!" Yoongi says, his voice raising slightly.
"Twice." Jin says, avoiding his eyes.
Yoongi shakes his head and turns to me.
"I'm sorry y/n but it's probably best if you don't come over anymore."
His voice was low and deadly serious.
"Are you kidding me? Just because of a kiss you're going to ban her from hanging out with us?"
Jin was becoming angry now.
"He's right. Maybe this is what's best." I say in a defeated voice.
"Y/n.." Jin says, looking at me with soft yet hurt eyes.
"You guys should leave." I say.
Jin watches my face for a moment but when I don't speak, he gets up.
He says nothing as he walks out, purposely bumping Yoongi's shoulder on the way out.
"I'm sorry. I wish it didn't have to come this." Yoongi sighs as he lays a hand on my shoulder then follows Jin out.
Once the front door shuts I let out a breath I didn't realize I had been holding in.
I guess what they say is true.
Everything does have consequences..

The next day at school was hard.
None of the guys talked to me and even Rebecca walked right past me.
I'm not sure what Rebecca had heard but I figured it was because she didn't have access to the guys anymore.
What was I supposed to do now?
I was back to square one.
Alone with no friends.
It couldn't get worse than that.
•••
When the end of the day came I walked out of the school only to see the guys coming to pick up Jimin, Jungkook, and Tae.
My eyes hovered over them for a second and as soon as they spotted me I turned and headed the other way.
It was upsetting to know that now I was banned from their friend group.
Even after everything we did together.
Now, I was friendless.

As time went on I began to accept the fact that I was going to finish out this school year and graduate alone.
As sad as it was, I learned to accept that.
It had been around four months since everything and not a single one of them had talked to me.
The fact that they lived next door didn't help either.
I didn't even dare go onto the roof even though I never once caught Jin out there anyway.
It was like they had left even though they were still right here:
That only made it a thousand times worse.

"Your father and I are going out of town this weekend. I know you aren't talking to the guys anymore so this can't really be put to use but here." My mom says as she extends her hand to me.
She then drops a pair of keys into my palm.
"What is this?" I ask.
"Go look outside." My mom says and my eyes widen as I run out, already knowing.
When I get out there I see a car sitting in the driveway.
"No way! When did you-"
My jaw was to the sidewalk.
"It's an early graduation present!" My mom says and I waste no time in jumping on her, thanking her and my dad repeatedly.
"Just be careful, okay." My Dad says.
"Of course. Thank you!"
I was beyond ecstatic.
"Woah! That's a-" I hear but the voice becomes muffled.
I turn around only to see Namjoon dragging Taehyung into the house, his hand over his mouth.
My mom gives me a sad smile and hugs me again.
"Don't worry. I don't know what happened between you guys but I'm sure you'll work it out." My mom says.
"Thanks." I say, my once happy voice now gone.
"Don't be sad. You just got a new car! You should be happy!" My Dad says.
"I am happy, really. Thank you guys so much for this." I say again as I wrap my arms around them.
"Anything for you, sweetie." My mom smiles.
I was very grateful and I would let them know that as many times as I had to.
"Okay, we have to get going. We'll be sure to call and text when we can. Love you!" My mom calls out as her and my dad get into their car and drive away, leaving me alone.
I jump into the new car and a smile instantly takes over my face.
Whoever said money couldn't buy you happiness, well they lied.
