It was finally that day, the day that me and Kanao have been waiting, Final Selection. And I was excited! What....you think I was going to be afraid?

Unfortunately Kanae and Shinobu were not here to see us off....but Tengen and his wives, who stayed here for the night, could do it in their place!

Right now, I was in my room and wearing my outfit that Tengen got me and the gloves that Obanai gave me.

Blue: Wow, it feels so comfy inside! I like it!

I went to the other end of my room where I saw my very own Nirichin Blade, the one I held 11 years ago.

It was as amazing as it was back then, and I can't wait to use it. Next I pick up my mask and attached it to my side. It was the same one that Sabito gave me.

Black: You know, I gave it to that Sabito kid, so he can give it to you

Blue: Wait, really?

Black: Of course, well I gave it to the former Water Hashira because I knew he would want to use it for you.

Blue: Huh....neat, you really do have smart way of thinking about things.

My new....companion, doesn't reply, so I attach my Nirichin Sword to my side and move on, leaving my room. I find Kanao waiting for me, standing there was also Tengen and his wives.

Once they saw me in the outfit they got me, Suma started to squeal in excitement.

Suma: He's so cute in it!

Tengen: Looking flamboyant as ever! Of course it is what I picked, so naturally it is Flamboyant

Hinatsuru: You look like a proper Demon Slayer now

Makio: He looks handsome! I can tell he will get all the girls!

Blue: What do you mean Makio-San?

We then go outside where Aoi and the Butterfly Girls are, Naho and Kiyo hug me while Sumi hugs Kanao.

Aoi: Yes, both of you be careful, I know you two will do much better than me

Blue: Aoi, it's okay that you failed to gain the courage in becoming a Demon slayer, it's normal. In my eyes, you're brave for entering Final Selection alone!

She turned around as her face was red which confused me, is she ill? That's kind of ironic since she is a nurse in the estate, how funny!

Aoi: T-Thank you Blue

Aoi then hugs Kanao and tells her to be safe, Kanao nods and then joins me as we walk away.

Blue: Get better soon Aoi!

Aoi: Eh? Get better? [Eyes Widen] B-Blue, you dense Baka!

Blue: ._.

Kanao: ^_^ Blue, let's go

Blue: Okay, Kanao Nee-san!

Wow that feels weird to say, she is older than me but her size doesn't back that up.....she would stab me if she heard me say that.

Black: She is only a bit smaller than you, you should look at the other one, she is even smaller. Smaller than this one over here.

I'm not gonna lie, Shinobu is really small.

We walk through some wisteria trees and arrive at Final Selection where there were a lot of kids our age ready for the same test. I look over at the front and spotted Kiriya and Kanata arriving.

They begin to explain what will happen, but since I already know what happens, I just think to myself.

It was weird how at times they say the same thing at the same time...in a very creepy and monotonous way.....what happened to the little ones? Q_Q

But I can't think about that, right now it was time to start Final Selection. Once we were given the green light, we enter through the forest where the demons were vibing at.

Blue: Let's both split up, it will be much fun that way

Kanao had a small frown which was rare but she smiles and nods her head at me, and so we go our separate ways. I explore the forest so that I can get used to the surroundings, after all, I am going to be here for 7 days.

Suddenly, I stopped what I was doing, right now I could sense the aura of some demons attacking from behind me and on my sides. I dodged the one behind causing him to collide with the one on my left and then I jump in the air to avoid the Demon from my right.

Demon: What the?!

While still airbourne, I pull my leg back and kicked that Demon into the other two.

Blue: Hello There! Want to meet my blade?

Demon: Who do you think you ar-?

Blue: Sorry didn't ask, Galaxy Breathing First Form: Azure Blade!

I unsheatehe my sword and made it light up in blue, I decapitate the three demons in three swift strikes and sheathe my sword again.

Blue: Wow my first Demon kill, and it was three of them!

A crashing noise takes me out of my happy mood, and I look over to see smoke coming from one side of the forest, conflict? Over there? Let's a go!

I run towards where I sensed a massive aura, and it was a Demon too. I arrive and see some demo-ooooooh lord what is that?!

Blue: No seriously what is that?! Some Hand demon? Oh wait...Black...is that the Demon you were talking about?

Black: Yeah, I can't believe that mother fucker is still alive....care to remind him of me? I wore that mask and used the first form of Void Breathing on him, so this is your chance....remember, this guy has killed a lot of young people.

I put the mask on and saw that another boy was present , I guess I should save him! I jump down from the tree branch I was on and slice one of demon's hands.

Hand Demon: Ah! Who the hell is interrupting me now?! I swear this happened a few years ago!

Blue: Hello There!

Hand Demon: Hmm? Wait...I-I know you! You were that one! The one who prevented me from killing three of Urokodaki's students! And now you're back to stop me from killing another?!

Blue: So this boy is another student? I think we can be friends!

HD: Don't ignore me!

He chases after me in rage but using my aura sensing abilities to detect that amount of rage allows me to easily dodge. Then I unsheathe my sword, and thought about something that ticked me off.

Blue: Void Breathing First Form:

HD: W-Wait not aga-!

I leap into the air and slice his head off clean, wow that was......powerful! This demon had a thick neck as well!

Black: Hmph....wasn't bad, but you still need work on that. Maybe this isn't for you

Blue: I never thought it would be anyways

I watch as the Demon withered away, before turning towards the other boy who was about my age. I could sense that he has a similar aura to me, one of pureness. I take off my mask and look at him, my own good energy returning.

Blue: Heyo! I'm Blue Light, s-sorry for taking your fight there, haha!

Tanjiro: N-No it's okay, you did good there, I'm Tanjiro Kamado!

Blue: Hey Tanjiro, can I stay with you? I think we can become good friends!

Tanjiro: I'm fine with it! Glad to meet you, Blue!

The two of us walk towards a direction, as our end goal was to just survive for the next 7 days. During that time, we didn't leave each others side, and soon enough, Final Selection was finished.

Me and Tanjiro had made it back to the starting point, and it was good timing because the sun was rising.

Blue: W-We made it!

Tanjiro: T-That was e-exhausting!

I was supporting Tanjiro with his arm behind my neck, and we could tell that we were the last ones to make it....out of five.....WHAT?!

Let's see now.....there was me, Tanjiro, Kanao....oh hey it's Genya! The little Brother of Sanemi! And finally there was this other boy who had yellow hair and he looked like he has seen some....traumatic things ._.

W-What even happened to him?

Kiriya and Kanata began to explain some things after they had congratulated us. But since I knew everything I decided to day dream like I usually do.

However it didn't last long as I saw Genya go over to Kanata and grab the top of her head aggressively....

Dammit Genya! Pull yourself together!

Genya: I don't care! I said I want a Nirichin Blade! The colour changing sword!

Tanjiro was about to go and stop him but I stop him first and just show him a smile. Then he watches me go over to Genya and grab his arm, he also noticed that I was looking at him-

Blue: Genya....please stop this

Genya was clearly shocked as I don't usually do this but it was clear he wasn't going to stop.

Blue:....Genya....you do know this is Oyakata's youngest Daughter?

After hearing that, Genya flinched....ooooh I got him! He immediately lets go and apologises to Kanata while kneeling, she forgives him as I go to check on her, rubbing her head.

Blue: Kanata, are you okay? Are you hurt?

Her face had a red tint which I could see, and her aura shifted to one that felt safe around me, grateful I was here and making sure that she was ok. She also had this...other feeling to her aura, I have seen this before with her and others like my sisters, her sisters and....wait it's with only females?

Must be some girl thing ._.

Black:.....I'm genuinely shocked from not only her feelings...but your stupidity

Kanata: I'm okay Blue-San, thank you

Kiriya: Blue-San, since you already have a Nirichin Sword, would you like another one?

Black:

Blue: I don't mind!

It was time to choose the ore for our blades, and Black helped with choosing the perfect one for him. I noticed that Tanjiro was using his nose to smell a good ore, I was confused until I remembered that he told me he could do that.

I also told him about my sense of aura, so we have some similarities there.

We also got a Kasugai crow as a companion! Apparently they will tell us of any upcoming missions, so a new friend!

Blue: Hmmm I'll name you....Echo! Do you like it?

Echo: Caw! I apprentice the name Blue-Sama!

Blue:...That....might take sometime getting used to ._.

Echo: Should I call you Blue instead?

Blue:....Yeah, you're my companion, we are like friends me and you!

Echo: Then I shall become your friend! Kaw!

And so Final Selection was complete! I was going to go back with Kanao but I saw that Tanjiro was struggling to walk, Ah Crapbaskets....time to be a good person!

Blue: Kanao, go on without me, I'm going to help Tanjiro walk back to his place

Kanao: Okay.....be careful

Blue: You too!

I walk over to Tanjiro and place his arm around my neck, he was surprised that I was helping him but was very grateful.

Tanjiro: Thank you, Blue

Blue: No problem Tanjiro, you're my friend, and that means we've got to help each other!

Tanjiro: You're right, oh and if you don't mind me asking, who was that girl?

Blue: That was Kanao, my Older Sister

Tanjiro: Ehh? Really? But you both don't look like each other

Blue: She and I were adopted by two Sisters, they are our older sisters, oh and they both are Hashira

Tanjiro: Wow! That's amazing!

Blue: I know, they're so cool, I was adopted first and then Kanao two years later. She is older than both of us because she is 16

Tanjiro: Oh I see! I have a younger Sister as well

Blue: Oh neat, I'll probably see her when I make sure you don't get jumped.

We kept walking, but something I noticed in our way to Tanjiro's house was that Black was really quiet.....especially when I'm in Tanjiro's presence....Black why so quiet?

Black: It's just a coincidence....don't worry, focus on getting this kid to his house

We reach the place that Tanjiro was staying at which happened to be Urokidaki's place......oh yeah he is his new student! I forgot about that!

Silly me!

Tanjiro: Okay Blue, you can go now

Blue: Are you sure?

Tanjiro: Ye-

Suddenly, the door gets kicked down, surprising both of us. We watch as a girl with a green piece of Bamboo in her mouth walks out, wait...a muzzle? Why? That's strange...

Tanjiro: N-Nezuko!

Tanjiro was shocked but happy, then he gasps and looks back at me, his aura changed to.....one of fear....why? Oh I see why....this Nezuko from what I can tell by her aura....is a demon.

Well thankfully the sun is down and that it's getting darker.

Blue: Tanjiro.....how do you know this demon?

But first....I need some answers from Tanjiro.
