Wind and Death
{Day 1-Night 1-}
Artemis sighed as he leaned against Tsukito, feeling his eyelids start to droop.
The Japanese god twitched but didn't shove her off, instead, he gently picked the other up, letting him nuzzle into Tsukito's chest.
"Put him down." Tsukito paused as a voice came to his ears, he looked back briefly to see a taller god standing in the shadows, a lone golden eye gleaming behind a curtain of wavy sea-green hair.
"Ah, do you know Artemis?" Tsukito asked, his arms tightening a bit around the god in his arms, one of his hands coming up and gently cradling his head, his fingers touching smooth red locks, nearly making him melt.
"W-well... No." The god said, taking a step forward, showing that he was in fact in his god form, as was Tsukito.
"Then I can hold him for as long as I please." Tsukito said stiffly, keeping his voice level even though his eyes gleamed with possessiveness over the smaller god.
Hades narrowed his eyes, taking a step forward. "Give him to me." He growled, energy gathering around him.
"Or I'll make you." Tsukito glanced from Artemis and then back to Hades, his eyes narrowing.
"Make me, puny god." He hissed, placing Artemis on the ground before launching into battle with Hades.
Artemis cried out, reaching forward desperately and yanking Hades back as hard as he could.
"Stop!" He yelped, shaking as he pulled Hades back down, staring up at Tsukito who blinked down at him in surprise, his lips pursed and his golden eyes-a symbol of his god mode as Artemis called it- filled with shock.
"Artemis?" Hades asked, looking back to Artemis who's eyes watered with tears. "Stop fighting, please!" He whimpered, burying his face into Hades' back as he trembled.
Hades paused, staring at Artemis's shock of red hair before he sighed, relaxing and letting Artemis slip away from him.
Artemis sniffled as he wiped his eyes, taking a couple paces back. Hades reached forward, touching Artemis's head softly.
"Please," Hades murmured, his eyes going sad, "don't cry." Tsukito descended down from his floating space, his eyes shimmering with sadness as he walked forward, wrapping his arms around Artemis.
"I'm sorry." Tsukito whispered, Hades echoed his words as they hugged onto Artemis who sniffled a little more, slowly gaining back himself.
"I-its fine," Artemis sniffled, pulling away from the two of them, swallowing thickly as he prepared himself to speak his next words, feeling his throat tighten a little, but he ignored it.
"I," he coughed a little, looking at them. Haden's eyes shone with nervousness and Tsukito's lips pursed I'm slight fear as Artemis took a few more steps back, glancing up at the moon.
"I have to go." Artemis wheezed, raising his arm up as the moon glowed brightly, shimmering until a carriage came into view being pulled by two large silver elk who bleated as they shot down from the sky, circling the three gods for a bit before landing in front of Artemis.
Hades yelped as he took a step back, Tsukito falling onto his bottom as they both stared up at the massive elks in fear and wonder. Artemis reached forward cautiously, smiling a little as the elks nuzzled into his hand before he climbed into the small carriage and clicked the reigns.
"Let's go!" He commanded, flinching as the elks took off, racing along the sand with fast hooves until they slowly tilted upwards, allowing the cart to soar through the air.
Artemis looked back to Hades and Tsukito who gaped at him, and giggled a little, shouting out in glee as the elks continued to soar up above the clouds, their hooves pounding on what seemed to be pure starlight, leaving a thin trail that melted into shooting stars behind him.
Artemis laughed in excitement as the elks dove downwards, seeing the school, and swooped about, bleating and cheering happily into the night, Artemis controlling them as if he had been doing it for years, and felt a sort of ease take over his body.
It was familiar, almost painfully so, but Artemis couldn't find it in his heart to stop, so they rode on. He gripped at the reigns tighter, angling the elks towards the ground to land.
The elks lands gracefully, the carriage sweeping on the dew drenched grass lightly. The elks huffed a bit, pawing at the ground before they looked back at Artemis, their golden eyes shining with love and affection and the need to go fly again.
"I'll be back tomorrow night, boys." Artemis said softly as he dismounted the Elks, petting their heads a final time before they took off into the Sky.
Artemis sighed in content, relaxing for a bit before he heard an angry voice calling his name.
"Artemis!!"
