Sun And Wind

{Day 1}

Artemis giggled as he and Balder ducked behind a large stone column, peeking out a little to see a large Pegasus that had been trailing them huff and whinny loudly in annoyance.

"Good thing we got away from it!" Artemis breathed, grinning at Balder who smiled back, blushing a bit at how Artemis looked.

"Y-yeah! Do you think there's more of them?" He whispered, both of them ducking behind the column again as the large animal looked their way, whinnying again and flapping it's wings a few times in irritants.

"I don't know, and I don't want to find out!" Artemis said, yelping as the Pegasus began to charge their way, forcing them to run from the column, yelling in terror and fear.

"Get back to the gazebo! It won't be able to fit into there!" Artemis yelled, slipping down a hallway with large arching columns and statues that glared ominously.

"It's gaining!" Balder warned, looking back at the Pegasus that was charging their way, flapping it's wings to gain speed.

"Then hurry your ass!" Artemis yelled back, seeing the garden and gazebo ahead, he ran faster, Balder running up close behind.

Artemis cried out as he fell, tripping hard onto the ground while Balder skidded to a fast, about to grab him.

But he was too late.

Artemis gave a cry as a pair of arms wrapped around his waist, lugging him up onto the large Pegasus with a grunt, the animal taking off into the sky while Balder stared after them, horror and anger in his eyes.

"A-ah!" Artemis yelped as he saw how far up they were, resulting in his arms gripping onto the taller male and squeezing his eyes closed as he chuckled.

"Hey, it's okay! See? We're perfectly safe on Pegasus." Artemis cautiously opened his eyes to see lively green ones staring into his own orbs.

"I-I... What.. How did you.?" He whispered, confusion straddling through his mind as the male chuckled once more.

"I'm Apollon. Pegasus just wanted to see who you were! She's perfectly harmless!" He said, patting Pegasus's neck, resulting in a cheerfully whinny.

"A-Artemis.." Artemis stammered, looking away from Apollon with a flush as he realized he had been staring at him.

Apollon grinned down at him, one of his hands were snaked around Artemis's waist to steady him, holding the blushing god to his chest.

He was perfect. This scene was perfect. If only Artemis hadn't been with a Norse god when he encountered them, maybe he would have a better chance.

"It doesn't look like there's anyway out of here." Artemis said softly, breaking Apollon from his daydreams.

Artemis was right. Looking out at the grey and white clouds with no break in them, it seemed like they had never left the garden itself.

"Let's land and try to catch out bearings." Apollon suggested, Pegasus instantly diving down to the perfect pavement while Artemis squeaked in fear, clutching onto Apollon.

After a moment, they landed and Artemis opened his eyes as he heard Balder's voice.

"Artemis! Let her go, you Greek!"
