C9: Food Fight
Frost sighed in relief, glad that the two hours of history was done. From what he saw, he wasn't the only one who is happy that it was time to eat. While everyone was heading towards the cafeteria, Frost was keeping an eye out for either Jane or Cassie. Jessica stayed with him since they "know" each other now.
"Hey, Jess." Someone said as they came over to them.
"Hey, T." Jessica greeted and Frost knew who it was.
"How was history?" Tina asked.
"I was becoming history in there. But have you met my new friend, Frost?" Jessica asked as she introduced Frost to Tina. (Just use your imagination for without the battle armour.)
"Hey, Frost. Nice to meet you." Tina greeted as she fought back her excitement.
"Hello, Tina. Nice to meet you too." Frost said with a smile.
After getting in line for the food, Frost noticed Cassie and Jane already sitting at a table to eat their food. He decided to get his food first, before introducing Jessica and Tina to Cassie and Jane. Frost made sure that the lunch ladies didn't see his face while they got their food.
"So, where are we going to sit?" Tina asked as she carried her food tray.
"I think we sit with Cassie and Jane. Since they will find it strange if I'm not sitting with them." Frost explained.
"Good point." Jessica agreed.
Frost began to get nervous as he led the way to the table. Cassie's face lightened when she noticed Frost, but frowned a bit when she noticed Jessica and a new girl.
"Hi, Frost." Jane greeted with a smile, not minding the two newcomers.
"Hey, Jane. Hi, Cassie." Frost greeted back with a smile.
"Hi, Frost. Jessica, what are you doing here?" Cassie asked as she looked at Jessica, trying to understand why she is here.
"So Cassie is your step-sis, Frost. Cool." Jessica said as she sat down at the table.
"Yeah. You didn't answer my question." Cassie pointed.
"Oh. I decided to hang out with Frost because he seemed cool in history." Jessica explained.
"And her?" Cassie asked as she looked at the new girl.
"Oh. She's an old friend of mine. Tina, this is Cassie and Jane." Jessica introduced Tina to them.
"Oh. Me and Tina already met in art class." Jane stated as she made space for Tina to sit next to her.
Tina smiled gratefully and sat down between Jessica and Jane. Jessica and Cassie were glaring at each other a bit, so Frost sat down in between them before the claws come out. Tina and Jane got along very well, they were talking up a storm about art. Since Cassie, Jessica and Frost didn't know much about art, they had to either stay silent or start their own conversation. Frost could feel tension beginning to build up while he tried to think of a way to get them to get along. That's when it hit him.
"I think the Electric Guitar is the best guitar." Frost said and immediately saw disgust in both Cassies and Jessicas face.
"No way. An Acoustic Guitar is the best." Cassie argued.
"Thank you, Cassie. Finally someone who knows their guitars." Jessica agreed with Cassie, knowing what Frost was doing.
Soon, Jessica and Cassie were talking about music like two old friends. Frost smiled in relief, glad that everyone was getting along for now. He ate his food peacefully before standing up and turning around, crashing straight into another person. The cafeteria fell silent after the clatter of food trays on the tiled floor. All heads were turned to Frost and the other figure. Frost noticed the fear in most of the students eyes while others pulled out their phones to take a video. With these signs and his luck, Frost knew he crashed into the school bully. Frost heard growling begin to start before getting grabbed by the hoodie. Instinctively Frost brought up both his arms between his opponents arms before pushing them aside, breaking the opponent's hold on his hoodie.
"Bad move, tiny." The other guy said.
"Is this going to be a fight, Burt?" His friend asked.
"What do you think, Fynx?" Burt snapped at Fynx.
"Jeez man. Can I get first hit?" Fynx asked.
"No. Just hold him still for me to hit." Burt commanded.
Fynx grinned as he cracked his knuckles and stepped forward. Frost noticed Jessica and Tina holding Cassie back from getting involved. Jane's eyes were just filled with fear. Frost took a deep breath as he got ready for Fynx coming at him. Fynx tried to grab Frost, who kept on dodging it and slowly beginning to irritate him. Fynx growled and started to throw punches now, causing Burt to also get pissed off and start shouting at him, who was shouting at Frost to stand still.
Fynx took a right swing at Frost, who dodged by moving to the left. Frost used Fynx momentum against him, by grabbing his arm and shoulder before pushing Fynx into Burt. They stumbled a bit before Burt shoved Fynx off him and charged at Frost. Frost simply moved out off his way, causing Burt to try and stop on a puddle of his spilled water. The combination of a wet floor and non-grippy shoes caused Burt to slip and fall onto his back.
Frost did a safety roll to the right to miss a left hook from Fynx. In his roll, Frost picked up one of the food trays. As he stood up, Frost brought the tray up to block a right hook to the face. Fynx yelped in pain as his punch made the metal tray bend slightly while bruising his hand. He grabbed his probably broken hand as he stepped back, giving up.
Burt got to his feet again and charged Frost again. This time, Frost threw the tray at Burts feet, causing him to stumble before crashing face first into the ground. Burt made a sound which a mixture of groaning and growling as he slowly stood up. He was getting ready to charge again before a familiar voice broke the cheering of students.
"WHAT THE BLOODY HELL IS GOING ON HERE!!!" Sir B. Wild shouted as the crowd made way for him, a Pitbull and a husky.
"Burt. I swear if you and Fynx beaten up another student, I will..." The husky said before stopping, being a shocked that Burt and Fynx were the beaten up ones.
The Pitbull looked a bit surprised, as well as Sir B. Wild. The Pitbull looked at Frost, who quickly readjusted his hoodie.
"All three of you, in my office now." The husky said as he led the way.
"Who has a video of what happened here?" The Pitbull asked, causing several hand to go up but he chose a shark to come along.
The husky walked in front, leading the way. After him, Burt and Fynx were following, Burt looking pissed off while Fynx was holding his broken hand. The Pitbull walked behind them to keep them separated from Frost. Frost followed them with Sir B. Wild bringing up the rear with the shark.
The three students were surprised to see Frost when he had to take off his hoodie in the principles office, because they didn't notice at all. All the teachers knew there was a human student, but they were surprised as well. Sir B. Wild because he never knew that the new student in his home room was the human student he was informed about. Mister P, the Pitbull, because he didn't think a human would be able to beat to canines in a fight. Mister Henderson, the husky, because the new student just taught the oldest school bullies a lesson.
After watching the video evidence, Mister Henderson, the school principle, lets Frost go scot-free because it was clearly just self-defence. Burt and Fynx were punished with an entire week of extra history classes with Sir B. Wild. Fynx were sent to the school nurse, who had him send to the hospital.
