C4: The Arm

Frost POV

"Test number 49." Pumzie said as she placed an egg on the table.

I slowly reach out with my left arm. I took it gently, trying my hardest not to crack it for the 49th time. I managed to pick the egg and hold it without breaking it for the first time. Pumzie jumped up and cheered.

"You did it! Yes! I knew you could do it. It just took a bit of getting use to." Pumzie exclaimed.

"Yes. Thank you so much." I said as I admired my new robotic left arm.

"Now that you have control over the interior, we can start working on the exterior. I have two designs." Pumzie said as she showed me two designs.

(Choose left or right)

"I like them both. I can't choose." I said as I shook my head.

"That's fine. The exterior is just there to make it look cooler." Pumzie said.

"Oh okay. I can't thank you enough. This is freaken awesome." I said as I threw the egg and caught it without cracking it with the robot arm.

Pumzie chuckled at my little stunt, before giving me a serious look.

"I believe there's a payment in order." Pumzie said a bit nervously.

"Oh yes. I don't have any money. Is there another form of payment?" I asked.

"Well. I was thinking that you could take me and my girlfriend to your spaceship." Pumzie said.

"And who is your girlfriend?" I asked while raising an eyebrow.

"That would be me." A voice said behind me.

I turned around and saw Cora leaning against the door frame with sly grin.

"You're not trying to steal my girlfriend from me, are you?" Cora asked.

"Wha-? I-I..." I began to stutter.

"Relax. I'm joking... Besides, I won't mind a little threesome." Cora said before whispering the last part in my ear.

"Okay. I'll take you two my spaceship. But I'm going to need a weapon of some kind." I said.

"Melee, ranged or heavy?" Cora asked.

"What?" I asked, not understanding what she meant.

"Do you want a close combat, a gun or a heavy weapon?" Pumzie explained a bit better.

"I'm better with close combat, but I won't mind a gun." I said as scratched my head.

"I'll see what I can get for you." Cora said with a nod before leaving the room.

"Thanks." I said.

"Listen, just a word of advise. You should change your form. So that you don't attract so many attention." Pumzie explained.

"How do you know I can change?" I asked, not remembering that she was in the medic room.

"Oh. Cora told me about it, but I would love to see it." Pumzie said with the face of an excited toddler.

"Very well. Wolf, shark, crocodile or jaguar?" I asked.

"Uhhhh?" She said in confusion.

"I can change into five things, maybe six. I really don't know. But currently I can change into a wolf, shark, crocodile and jaguar furry, excluding my current form, human." I explained as I shook my head.

"Oh. I choose jaguar. But you're a human, right? Not a furry that changed into a human?" Pumzie asked.

"I was born a human. Both my parents were human. The first time I changed into a furry was when I was nine years old while having a fit." I explained.

"Oh. Cool." Pumzie said with a nod.

"Yep. Took a few years to master the change though. You chose jaguar, right?" I made sure.

"Yes." Pumzie said with an eager nod.

I nodded as I closed my eyes. I focused and began to feel the change happening. My bones pop and change to fit my new body. I gritted my teeth that was becoming more feline like and bigger as my skull formed a muzzle. I felt fur began to sprout all over my body as My pupil changed as well. My nails formed retractable claws while a tail formed behind me.

I opened my eyes as my feline ears twitched. I looked at my new robotic arm, it was still metal, but it looked cool where the fur became metal. I looked at Pumzie, who stared at me with her jaw wide open in surprise.

"Ta-Daa." I said with a smile.

"That... Was... Awesome." Pumzie said as a wide grin spread over her face.

"Thanks." I said before turning around to see Cora walk into the room.

"Frost?" Cora asked after staring at me for a while.

"The one and only." I said with a grin.

"Nice. Here you go. Will these do?" Cora asked as she handed me an fire-axe and a combat shotgun, as well as 50 shotgun shells.

"A bit on the heavy side..." I said while weighting out the axe, before grinning "...but it will do nicely."

"Glad you like them." Cora said with a grin.

"Can we go now?" Pumzie whined softly.

"Okay. You got the backpack with water, food and medical supplies?" Cora asked her.

"Yep. As well as spare ammo. We're taking Bison, right?" Pumzie asked.

"Yes." Cora said with a nod.

"Who's Bison?" I asked.

"You'll see." Pumzie said as she sheathed a combat knife in her boot, before picking up two pistols.

"Come on." Cora said as she rested a custom fire-arm on her shoulder before leaving.

I followed Cora and Pumzie brought up the rear. We into the open field and I saw a bunch of... Cows? Two headed cows to be exact.

"This is Bison." Pumzie said as she petted one of these beasts.

"What are they?" I asked.

"They're brahmins." Cora explained as she walked over to it while carrying a leather blanket.

Cora threw the blanket on Bison's back, before strapping it on them. The blanket got pick pockets on both sides. Pumzie got a lead and began to lead Bison to the bridge. Me and Cora followed behind.

"What exactly does Pumzie want at the crash site?" I asked Cora.

"Well, first of she's going to check if it can still fly." Cora replied.

"Well that's a no-no. That ship is wrecked." I explained as I shook my head.

"Oh. In that case, she's going to salvage as much as possible. So by my guess, we'll make this drip everyday for the next week." Cora explained.

"I see. But why does she want me to come along on the trip? What I mean by that is that you know where I crashed and all that." I said, trying not to be offensive.

"Well. I don't know, to be honest. She probably just want you to feel more comfortable if you're going to stay with us." Cora explained.

"Stay? I can't. I have family and friends back home." I said as I shook my head.

"I see. Well then, don't tell Pumzie that you aren't staying. It will upset her, she quite likes you." Cora said.

"I promise that I won't tell her. By the way, how does she know where the crash site is?" I asked.

"Oh. I told her before we left." Cora replied.

"Oh okay." I said with a nod before thinking back. I've crashed about a week ago. I'm sure between Rita and Zero, they'll figure out where I am.

(There we go folks, enjoy. Please choose the exterior for the robot arm. Glitch out.)
