Exams had come and gone.It was Friday the end of school session and also the day Dee would be leaving for NYU,he had graduated from his high school a week earlier and was now leaving for college. I couldn't help buh feel a little jealous of my older brother buh at the same time I was extremely happy for him.
His flight was scheduled to be an early morning one buh I begged him to reschedule and make it an afternoon flight so I could round up in school and also bring an unaware Jay along.
I was clearing my locker and tidying up when Shelby walked up to me.
"Hey Nerd",Ms.Whore called out looking at me like I was some statue of puke.
Poor Shelby!!It's been two weeks since Jay and I made up.Shelby always gave us death glares in class buh I didn't mind and Jay was the least to care about that.He always made Shelby infuriated by his unexpected PDA's in class and at the café. I wasn't a fan of PDA's but I tried my best to adjust to it.This only made matters worse for Shelby and I pitied her cause she looked so pathetic.I guess she hasn't slept in days 'cause she had black circles round her eyes that where so visible no matter the amount of makeup she tried using to cover it up.
I ignored her and kept on packing my books and stationaries.
" Are you deaf??,I'm speaking to you",Shelby said almost yelling.Luckily there was no one on the corridor so her voice just echoed back.
I immediately slammed my locker so hard making her quiver.
"I really hate it when people shout,let alone doing so into my ear.It pisses me off", I said in a calm tone while I glared at her.She looked surprised buh I continued speaking.
" I dunno why you like me so much that you just keep coming around me",I said sarcastically and smiled.
'I ain't gay you know",I said and chuckled. "I've got to go Shelby, Jay's probably waiting for me,"I turned and began leaving.
" Trri--cc--ii-aaaa!!",Shelby yelled making me stop and turn around.
"I told you I hate it when people shou-",
" Shut up nerd,just shut up",Shelby retorted."I told you to stay off Jay,didn't I??Seems you need me to teach you a lesson before you obey".
"Oh,jes keep quiet Shelby, you can't do anything.Read my lips Shelby, YOU CANT AND WOULD NEVER COME BETWEEN JAY AND I,have a blissful summer holiday Shelby Stone",I concluded and walked away leaving a frustrated Shelby to eat herself up.I smiled as I heard her last words.
" Aassshhh,I'm so gun show her who Shelby Stone is",Shelby said to the empty corridor.

At the parking lot**
"Hey babe,what took you so long??", Jay asked as I got into his Rav4.
" Nothing much,just Shelby and her usual empty threats ",I said.
" What?? Again?? ",Jay exclaimed.
" Calm down Jay she isn't gonna succeed this time.Trust me ",I said and pecked his cheek.
He smiled mischievously and kissed my lips hard.
" Alright babe,so where we going to?? ",he asked starting up the engine.
" To the airport",I replied.
"Airport?? Why??", Jay asked quite surprised.
" Stop asking much questions and just drive cutehead",I smirked.
Jay chuckled.
"Aii love", he said and drove off.

At the airport**
" Mum, Dee,Anna",I called out as I ran towards them."Hope I didn't keep you guys waiting, had to tidy up stuff in school and bring Jay too along".
"Its alright Tri",mum said." Dee has ten minutes before he leaves.
"Hey everyone", Jay greeted.
"Hey Jay", Anna greeted back in her tiny voice.
" Hey nigguh,howdy ",Dee greeted back too
" How you Jay??",mum asked.
"I'm fine,everyone,I never knew Dee was travelling, Tricia told me nothing.", Jay whined like a toddler.
" yeah,wanted it to be a surprise.Dee got into NYU and he's leaving in like 10 minutes ",I said happily.
" You gats to be kidding me,that's amazing Damion.Congrats bro",Jay said and hugged my older bro.
"I'm gone miss you so much Dee", Anna cried
" Me too",I said.
"I definitely would miss him the most",mum said.
" Oh stop it everyone, he ain't going forever",Jay scolded
"Jay is right,besides i'll always keep in touch and come home whenever I'm chanced,okay??,Dee said.
Anna hugged Dee tightly with tears rolling down her cheek,I hugged him too.I didn't let my tear fall out,I had to be a big girl.
" Flight 34E56 to New York is about leaving,all Passengers of the stated plane should move into the check room for final checks before taking off "
"Its your call Dee", Jay said.
" Yeah bro, it is",Dee said breaking free from the hug."You take care of my sis and don't let her cry or i'll kill you once I'm back",Dee warned Jay.
Jay smiled.
"You gat no problem with that Dee,I sure will", Jay said
Mum hugged Dee one last time before he began leaving.
" Goodbyee Dee",everybody shouted in unison,Dee turned and waved before he finally left.
" Kate,please I wana stay with Tricia for a while, i'll bring her home later on ",Jay begged .
" Alright Jay buh don't be late",mum said before leaving with Anna.
After mum and Anna had left,we drove down to the park.
"So what's the occasion Jay??why did you want me to stay back with you??", I asked as we took a walk on the most serene part of the park.
" I'll be spending the summer holiday at Macau with my dad",Jay said.
"What??!!", I screamed." We'd be away from each other for two months??"
"Come on babe, we'll always talk and text", Jay said.
" Buh that ain't enough,staying a day without you is torture enough and now,two months,I sure will die before you're back ",I said almost crying.
" Don't cry pretty one,i'll be back before you know it,okay??, Jay consoled."And you won't die".
I nodded and looked up at Jay.
"I'll miss you Jay", I said.
" I'll miss you more pumpkin ",Jay said before taking my lips in his and hugging me tightly.
