"So where are we going to,jerk??",I asked putting on a light smile.I felt free and at home with Jay.I just felt I could trust him a bit.
"I'll show you pumpkin",Jay said dragging my hands and running. I ran with him too.We began running towards the park.
" The park????", I yelled. I looked at my wristwatch. 7:45pm and this late??"
"Common Trix", Jay begged." You've been through a lot today.You really need to calm your nerves down and relax a bit. "
He was right. I sure needed to calm myself down and relax.I began smiling sheepishly that I didn't know when Jay poured some white sand on my jeans and ran away.
"You jerk", I shrieked."You sure would be sorry". I packed enough sand into my tiny hands and chased after Jay.I soon caught up with him, poured it on him and I started laughing.He fell to the ground and was still.I froze, I had injured him.I moved to him and began shaking him,
" Jay,are you okay?? "..No answer
" Jay.....",No answer
" Jay I'm so sorry,I was only... "
"Gotchaaa..", Jay screamed and began tickling me.I was a weakling when it came to tickles,I began rolling on the floor and laughing so hard.After what seemed like forever,Jay stopped the 'tickle-torture' and lay beside me. We were silent for a long while before he finally spoke,
" My mum,Serena Conner,used to work at Zeer bank as a credit analyst. We had a happy home not until three years ago when dad caught her cheating,with my homeroom teacher back in my previous school.I really couldn't explain what was wrong with mum and why she did something like that.Dad was probably the best husband and father a family could ever ask for. All these while, I kept quiet and jes stared at Jay.I thought I had a huge family problem but Jay had suffered worse.He sure passed through hell but he still loved his mum and here I was hating my dad to death.
" I'm sorry,Jay",I started not so sure of what to say.
"Lol,common babe,it's okay.I just hope she's fine wherever she is", Jay smiled and looked at me.
" Come here pumpkin ",he drew me into his arms, kissed my forehead and began stroking my hair as usual.I was falling asleep already,I couldn't resist it as the cool breeze and serene nature of the park aided the sleep.
" I love you Tricia",was the last thing I heard before I slept off.
