SAMAH kept her Qur'an back on its rightful position,she turn to see Junia applying lipstick on her lips

"I'm on duty today" Junia said with a smile on her face,Samah nodded picking her school bag thesame time Eden did

"We should head to the cafeteria,I have something to show you guys" Samah says

" What's it?"Junia asked eagerly and Samah chuckled

"I want all of you guys to be present" Samah replied

"Calm it down a little Junia!"Eden said walking out of the room

" What's wrong with this one?"Junia said and Samah chuckled leaving the room,Junia followed and they head to the cafeteria. They met the boys already waiting for them

"You're alive!" Breeze said dramatically hugging Samah out of the blues,Samah just chuckled and screamed when he carried her up diverting everyone in the cafeteria attention on them for awhile

"Stop disgracing me and put me down!" Samah said and Breeze chuckled letting her down " what's the meaning of this?"Samah asked narrowing her eyes on Breeze

"Junia told me they couldn't find you yesterday's night"Breeze said and Samah look at Junia who raised her hands up

"I thought you guys might be together that's why I called him"Junia defend herself

" Seriously you need to get a phone. I'm sure we don't mind buying you one"Jess said and Samah chuckled

" There's no need for that,I just got a new phone"Samah said and the rest in the table eyes widen

"When?!" Eden asked

"Day before yesterday in the night. We were too busy yesterday,that's why I couldn't tell you guys"Samah says

" Woah! It's that what you wanted to tell us this morning?"Junia asked

" Yes"Samah replied with a smile digging her hand inside her bag,she pull out the phone and Breeze collected it from her

"Cool" he said looking at the phone

"That's an old version of iPhone,why didn't you get the latest one?"Junia asked. Jess cracked his throat while Eden sighed

" Think before you talk sometimes" Eden said and Samah gave them a fake smile

" Let's exchange contacts then" Jess quickly said collecting the phone from Breeze,he typed in his number saving it with Jess and a blue heart emoji. Eden collected it and saved hers with Eden with devil and red heart emoji,Junia collected it and saved her contact with BFF and a Cupid heart, she winked at Samah before giving her the phone,Samah smiled

"What about me?" Breeze asked slightly frowning,Samah finds that funny and chuckled handing the phone over to him. Breeze smirked collecting the phone,he saved his contact with LOML with Cupid heart and handed the phone back to Samah

"What the...." Samah said after seeing how he saved his contact looking at him

"What's it?" Junia asked collecting the phone from Samah,she chuckled giving it to Jess when she saw what happened

"LOML? Bro?!" Jess asked bursting into laughter,the rest of the table started laughing too

"Don't change it" Breeze said and Samah nodded

"I won't" she said with a smile. "let me see what you saved mine with" Samah asked

"No!" Breeze said standing up. "I will get the breakfast" he says before walking away

"Someone is seriously whipped" Samah heard Jess mutter to himself,she wondered if others heard but pretended as if she didn't hear him talk

Breeze brought their breakfast and they ate it quietly,the bell was suddenly rang for assembly. They all stood up going to the assembly hall

"See you later" Junia said waving at Samah before going to the front of the hall. Samah sat down beside Eden while the boys went to coordinate the junior student

"Everyone should shut up,i shouldn't hear any noise" Junia said and Samah look up to see her smiling unconsciously, Samah never knew she have that leader personality in her,she suddenly saw Ayaan walking over to her and standing beside her.

Samah frowns immediately she saw Ayaan,she remembered how he left her alone the previous night and got all angry. She saw him leaning talking on Junia's ear,Junia nodded before he took a step back standing at the end of the hall.

So he actually talks to someone pffft!

Another girl Samah doesn't know about suddenly joined Junia,she saw Junia smiled at her

"Who's that?" Samah asked stylishly pointing to the girl

" That's Ebere,she's the school head girl and in my class too" Eden said and Samah nodded in realisation. The assembly was boring and it took forever for it to end.

Samah sighed happily standing up with her bag,she hangs it in her back before leaving the hall with Eden,she was going to her class when she suddenly felt someone's arms around her

"Boom!" Breeze said and Samah chuckled shaking her head

"You're clingy" Samah says

"Only for you" Breeze replied winking at her, Samah's eyes went wide

"Are you seriously flirting with me?!" She asked looking surprised

"Okay lover birds,I will be heading to my class"Eden said disrupting their barter. Samah look at Eden opening her mouth to talk when her eyes met with Ayaan,she scowl at him but there wasn't any indifference on him

Samah dropped her phone standing up from her bed,she's already dressed in her night gown and she needs to change what she's wearing,she wore a black baggy trouser on an oversized green shirt,she took the veil her eyes landed on first,a red coloured veil. She took her phone running out of the room, she went outside of the hostel looking around and saw Breeze standing at the side of the hostel. He's on a black joggers and a white shirt. Samah suddenly look at what she's wearing feeling embarrassed

"Hey!" Breeze said waving at her

"Hi" Samah replied going closer to Breeze feeling embarrassed

"What's this?!" Breeze asked bursting into laughter "you really have a weird fashion sense"

"Don't embarrass me more than I already am,I was in haste and wore the first thing I saw"Samah defends

" You look beautiful on them. You look good in everything"Breeze said holding Samah's hand. They started walking inside the field

"You brought something for me?" Samah asked

"Calm down chica!" Breeze said chuckling,he sits on the ground,he patted the ground indirectly asking Samah to sit down too which she complied

"I thought y'all come to the field together at night?"Samah asked

" Yeah that reminds me,you haven't been joining us. What's up?" Breeze asked

" Nothing really,why are you the only one out this night" Samah asked trying to change the attention from her. She don't mind telling Breeze where she have been but she's not sure Ayaan will love that.

"Okay, the rest...." Breeze words got cut short when he's phone started ringing

"Mom!" He muttered standing up picking up the call,he took some safe distance away from Samah

"Mama!.... Yes... Okay... Yeah yeah!" Breeze said and the call came to an end

" I'm sorry,I have to go now. I will make it up to you" Breeze said not waiting for Samah's reply before running away.

Samah's mouth hangs open as she couldn't say what she wants to say. She breathes in and out deeply closing her mouth,she look around and no one is around,she suddenly remembered Ayaan and made her way to the garden .

She met Ayaan laying down again in those previous positions,he suddenly opened his eyes and saw Samah. Samah's heart skipped a bit thinking he's about sending her away again but to her surprise Ayaan closed his eyes back. Samah smiled taking that as an invitation. She lay down too on the ground making sure there's safe distance between them,she could see Ayaan sparing him one of the ears or the earpiece.

Samah couldn't hide her toothy smile anymore,she put the earpiece in her ear closing her eyes. She lay silently on the floor thinking about why Ayaan wasn't talking or anything. She turned silently to look at him. His eyes were still closed,it look like she wasn't there and it's just him alone,it's kinda annoying to her

"Can you stop looking at me like that?" Ayaan suddenly asked opening his eyes,Samah gasped when she see his grey eyes,it's so captivating

"Look at you? Like what?" Samah asked with a huff shifting a little away from Ayaan

" Like you want to kill me" Ayaan replied

"Your eyes were closed so how did you know that?" Samah asked and Ayaan sit up removing the ear piece from his ear

" What are you doing here?" Ayaan asked ignoring Samah's question

"The obvious" Samah replied shrugging

"Ain't you suppose to be with your boyfriend or reading your books?"Ayaan asked

" My boyfriend?"Samah asked giving him a confused look

"Bilal" Ayaan replied and Samah wondered who is Bilal before she suddenly remembered that's Breeze real name

"That's hilarious"Samah said laughing shortly

"It doesn't look like that to me" Ayaan replied giving Samah a stern look

" Wait! are you jealous?" Samah asked and Ayaan gave her the 'are you kidding me' look

"Do I look like someone who gets jealous over a girl?"Ayaan asked with a scoff

" Are you gay?"Samah asked

" What the fuck is going through your head?"Ayaan asked giving Samah a weird look

" You said the f word! Wow! I honestly thought you're a quiet person,an introvert but it seems that's not the case"Samah said and Ayaan shook his head obviously getting tired of Samah

"You're annoying,I wonder how they gave you the scholarship" Ayaan says

" My personality, socialisation and brain doesn't have to be thesame dude. I'm brilliant and a very very social person, hopefully you understand that"Samah said and Ayaan huffed

" You forgot to add how annoying and clingy you can be,you have an odd way of showing your interest in a guy. I don't blame you though, guys like me in Nigeria is rare. I understand why you're this clingy"Ayaan said standing up

" What?! What?! What did you just say?!"Samah said shocked standing up too

" I will be leaving" Ayaan said with a coyly smile on his face

" You also have a weird way of showing your interest in a girl too, indirectly asking if I'm in relationship with Breeze too"Samah tried her own comeback

" What?! You're funny" Ayaan said with a scoff shaking his head

" You can't deny you don't enjoy me being here,I bet you were waiting for me and eagerly gave me your earpiece"Samah said and Ayaan gave her the 'are you kidding me' look

"I don't enjoy it,I don't enjoy any bit of it. I only gave you the earpiece because I want to keep you quiet and not destroy my night. You ended up doing that with your noisy mouth!"Ayaan retorted

" You're lying!"Samah said with a scoff

"I'm not!"

" You won't see me here again"

" Wow! How I will give anything to hear you say that. That's so good"Ayaan said trying to walk away when Samah's voice stopped him

" I'm serious"Samah said

"Suit yourself" Ayaan said and started walking away, Samah huffed

"What time is the photography class?!" Samah shouted for Ayaan to hear

" Nine in the morning!" Ayaan shouted back walking away without sparing Samah another look
