SAMAH quietly followed Ayaan to the roof top,Ayaan turn to look at her when he stopped walking

"What's your deal?" Ayaan suddenly asked

"Huh?!"Samah says

" What's your deal?! Why are you following me?! You invaded my personal space yesterday and now you're in thesame club with me, which class are you in and who is sending you to do this?!"Ayaan asked angrily and Samah took a step back

" I have no deal with you Ayaan" Samah said and Ayaan scoffed

" You know my name too? I don't even know you"Ayaan said giving Samah a degrading look

"One I'm your class mate,a scholarship student and two I wasn't invading in your personal space,I just happen to find myself in the garden and three I love photography the way you do,it's not meant for you alone"Samah replied and Ayaan rub his hands from his face to his hair, slightly pulling his hair too. He's obviously frustrated

"Then avoid me at all cost" Ayaan said and Samah chuckled

"I'm sorry that's not possible"Samah said taking a big step towards him " you should start getting use to me" Samah said patting his shoulder,Ayaan went rigid before Samah walk away

Immediately Samah was away Ayaan fell on the floor and started breathing heavily,he was having a panic attack. He tried breathing but he couldn't before he blacked out

Samah looses her steps immediately she's away from Ayaan,she placed her hand on her chest breathing heavily

"What have gotten into me!" She muttered and started walking down the steps, she suddenly saw Miss Olivia walking in her direction,she smiled at her

"Good morning ma'am" Samah greets

"Good morning,do you know where Ayaan is?"Miss Olivia asked

" In the roof top"Samah replied

" What?!"Miss Olivia shouted her hand bag falling from her hand immediately,she quickly started running towards the stair case,Samah shrugged and walk away

Samah wasn't able to take her breakfast,she sighed and went towards her class,she met a teacher in the class and took an excuse before entering the class to sit beside Breeze

"Where have you been?" Breeze asked

"Miss Olivia's" Samah replied pulling a book out of her bag

" You didn't eat breakfast,I package something down for you" Breeze said and Samah smiled

" Thank you"she replied before they both focus on the class.

Samah was in her last class before break when Ayaan suddenly entered the class,her eyes and his met and Ayaan gave her a degrading look before going over to sit down

"Why are you just coming in head boy?" The teacher asked

"Some health issues" Miss Olivia replied and Samah turn to look at her,she didn't notice her presence before

"Okay" the teacher said and Miss Olivia waited for Ayaan to sit down first before leaving the class

"Are they related?" Samah suddenly asked Breeze

"No but I do hear rumours that Miss Olivia is in love with Ayaan"Breeze replied and Samah scoffed

" That's absolutely nonsense,what will she see in a sixteen years old boy"Samah said dismissing what Breeze said

" Actually seventeen"Breeze corrected

"Whatever" Samah said before focusing on the board again.

The day came to an end and Samah was back in her room again,non of her room mates was around. Jewel have went over to her friends room,Eden in the school library for her Chemistry assignment while Junia went out with Breeze to compose a new song. Samah wasn't able to tell them about her new phone,they were all busy and she decided to let them know the following day.

She checked the time and it was after eight in the night,she sighed feeling lonely. She stood up wearing an orange colored jogger on a black T-shirt,she wore a head warmer leaving the room

She found her legs leading her to the garden again, it feels like the place is drawing her in and she's in love with the flowers,the silence and the feelings that comes with it.

"What's wrong with me" she muttered and started walking inside the garden touching as many flowers she can touch,she suddenly halted when she saw Ayaan on the floor again,his earpiece were on his ears,his eyes closed. His hand pillowing his head the way he laid down the previous day, Samah smiled and sit beside him

Ayaan open his eyes and saw Samah again beside him

"What's your problem?" Ayaan asked sitting down. He removed the earpiece on his ears

"I find myself here again" Samah said smiling looking at the flowers "this place is so beautiful and it keeps on calling on me"Samah said and Ayaan sighed obviously tired of Samah

" I will leave then" Ayaan said standing up

"So you will keep on leaving every night?"Samah asked halting Ayaan steps,he turn to look at Samah

" What do you mean?" He asked

"I will keep on coming here every night,so I'm asking you, are you going to keep on leaving every night?"Samah asked looking at Ayaan

" I should report you to the school authority then" Ayaan said and Samah chuckled slightly

" You won't and I know you won't do that"Samah replied

"How sure are you?" Ayaan asked

"Ever had a friend? Someone you confine in or someone that's just there to fill in the absence? Even if it's just a day?"Samah suddenly asked

" What's this question all of a sudden?"Ayaan asked and Samah stood up going closer to Ayaan

" Let me teach you something" Samah said trying to grab Ayaan's hand but he took a step back immediately

"Don't touch me" Ayaan said and Samah nodded with a smile on her face

" Okay then I won't touch you but you have to do as I say" Samah said and Ayaan scoffed

" Who said I was going to obey you?"Ayaan asked shaking his head,he tried walking away again but Samah's voice stopped him

"You should take risks Ayaan! I don't know but I just feel like telling you this,try something new once in awhile"Samah said and Ayaan turn to look at her "trust me,I swear I won't touch you,just try this out and you can criticize me if you don't like it anyhow you want" Samah added and Ayaan was quiet for some seconds thinking about what Samah said

"Okay" he says and Samah smiled brightly

"Lay down back on that position you were in before I intruded"Samah said and Ayaan gave her a skeptical look before doing that "play a song on your phone and use one of the earpiece don't use the two"Samah said and Ayaan took his phone doing just that

Samah lay next to him giving them a safe distance,she occupied thesame position as Ayaan,she took the other ear of the earpiece putting it on her ear

"So just close your eyes and enjoy the solitude,no noise" Samah said and Ayaan close his eyes,Samah did thesame slowly listening to the lyrics of  the song. They were both listening to alone by Alan Walker and Ava Max

Samah kept on listening to the lyrics and slowly she falls asleep.

It's been more than an hour Samah and Ayaan laid in thesame position without stirring,Ayaan slowly opened his eyes wondering why Samah haven't moved at all,he turn to see her sleeping. He wasn't sure if she's asleep or not,he removed the earpiece from her ear and she didn't bugged

"So easy. She falls asleep so easily" Ayaan muttered with a scoff,he stood up watching Samah debating on waking her or not. He doesn't want to have any contact with her,he doesn't want another panic attack. One is enough for a day

"I don't even know her name" he said frustratedly,he thought about how she's definitely going to wake up and the school is free from danger. He walks away leaving her alone in the garden.

Samah suddenly opened her eyes when she started feeling severe cold,she noticed there wasn't any earpiece on her ear anymore and quickly turn to find out she's the only one in the garden,she pull out her phone from her jogger checking the time

"Subhana Allah!" She exclaimed when she found out it was eleven in the night,she didn't even know when she fell asleep,she stood up from the ground dusting the dirts on her clothes.

"Jerk!" She muttered before walking back inside her hostel

" Where have you been?!" She suddenly heard Junia's voice startling her

" Oh my God! You got us so worried Samah!" Eden said looking obviously worried

" You need to get a phone seriously,this can't keep on going on I might loose it"Junia said and Samah smiled sadly hugging the two girls,she bursted into tears

"Oh my God! What happened?!" Junia asked looking scared

" Who hurt you? Or did we said anything that annoyed you?" Eden asked and Samah shook her head no

" No you didn't offend me" Samah said sniffing and wiping her tears " ever since my parents died no one have ever cared about me like you guys just did. We haven't known each other for long but you guys were so worried about me and it's all new to me,the feeling is welcoming and I become emotional"Samah said and they both chuckled hugging her

"Of course we will be worried,you're our friend remember?"Junia said and Samah nodded sniffing

" So what happened? Why are you just coming in" Eden asked

" I was outside receiving fresh air and fell asleep"Samah said an half truth

" Okay,you should go to bed it's late"Junia says

" And please you should be careful next time,you don't know what might happen. Don't stay outside like that again in the night"Eden said and Samah gave her a grateful smile

" Thank you girls. I will be careful next time"Samah said making her way to her bed

" I'm feeling sleepy,talk to you tomorrow" Junia said climbing her bed too,Eden switched off the light going to her bed too.

Samah sighed as the room gets dark,she reminisced everything that happened few hours ago,how she took that bold move asking Ayaan to stay. She have never enjoyed solitude with the presence of someone the way she did tonight,it was so enjoyable that she ended up falling asleep,she wondered when Ayaan left and suddenly became angry. At least he should have been a gentle man enough to wake her up but no he didn't letting her to sleep for some hours.

Samah yawned turning on the other side of the bed,this wasn't what she was expecting when she decided to change school,she actually had no life in her previous school. All she ever know about is debates, competition and making good results but with this school she's able to make friends in a short period and now forcefully forcing herself in Ayaan's life. She still don't know how she's going to make him notice Husna but she's going to try her best and at thesame time satisfy her curiosity. Samah sighed again sleep slowly engulfing her.
