THE bell suddenly rings indicating it's time for break,Samah have attended three classes before the break and she feels so tired. She stood up yawning going over to meet Junia

"Hey" she said smiling at Junia

"Babe" Junia said smiling,she stood up taking her bag hanging it on her back "we should go to the cafeteria and then go to the field after that before class starts again"

" Okay"Samah said nodding. She turn to see Jess and Breeze talking,they are probably making joke of something because the two boys were busy laughing.

Junia held Samah's hand leaving the class when a junior student suddenly ran over to meet them

"Labour prefect girl!"the junior said breathing heavily

" What's it?"Junia asked.

" Mr Cherry wants to see you"the junior said and Junia nodded dismissing her

"I think you have to go to the cafeteria alone,I have to meet with one of the teachers and I'm sure you will see Eden when you get there"Junia said and didn't wait for Samah's reply before running away. Samah sighed and started walking when two students blocked her path

"What's that odd name she said it's her name again?" One of the girls says and the other chuckled

" Samah" Samah replied giving them a weird look. She wondered why they're stopping her

"Samah or whatever you call yourself,we don't want to ever see you near Breeze again if not the rest of your high school life will not be the way you like it. It's better you face your scholarship helpless thing"the other said and the other chuckled. Samah stand stunned surprised at what they're saying

"First of all you have no right to tell me who to hang with or not, secondly I'm not helpless I gained that scholarship because I merit it,I have the brain and I'm sure if you're given same opportunity to write a scholarship exam hundreds of times you will fail it"Samah replied and they stood shocked,they were not expecting her to reply like that

"What?! Do you know who you are talking back at?! Do you know her father?! you nobody!"the shorter girl shouted

" Let her be,she will get to know the schooling system soon" the taller girl said and tapped Samah's shoulder before walking away,the other followed her immediately. Samah breathes out looking at her shaky hands. She wasn't confident at all,she's just saying those things to look cool but internally she's intimidated

She slowly started walking towards the cafeteria and saw that boy again with the grey eyes

"Ayaan" she muttered before she continue walking towards the cafeteria. She look around immediately she entered the cafeteria and saw Eden waving at her,she smiled and walk briskly towards her

"Hey! How was class?" Eden asked

"It was fine,what about your?"Samah asked sitting down on one of the chairs.

"It's okay. We have a new student in our class too. God! That girl is so beautiful"Eden said and Samah smiled,she knows she's talking about Husna, Husna have being a beauty goddess right from when they were small

"My babies!" They suddenly heard Jess said,Samah chuckled while Eden hits Jess with the pen in her hand

"Where's Junia?" Breeze asked sitting beside Samah

"She was called by Mr Cherry I think" Samah replied

"Oh okay" Breeze replied and nods. This time around Breeze stood up to collect the food,he took them to the table distributing it within themselves. They were eating silently when Jess noticed Samah is being extra quiet

"What's wrong with you?" Jess asked

"Nothing" Samah replied smiling

"Come on!" Breeze said and Samah sighed

"There's this two girls that confronted me about you"Samah said and Breeze got confused

" Can you describe them?" Breeze asked

"Yeah. The main girl is tall, slightly taller than me,she's light skinned and have orange hair, the other is short dark and thick. She plait all back with blue attachment"Samah said and realisation hits everyone in the table

"Oh! That's definitely Leilani" Eden said chuckling

"That chic still have it out for you huh" Jess said and snickered,he high fives Eden who kept on laughing. Samah was confused

"Don't mind Leilani,she's my ex girlfriend. We stopped dating when we were in SS1,she still have it out for me and threatens every girl she sees with me. She only barks,she don't bite"Breeze said and Samah nodded

" It's okay Samah,don't let her intimidate you. She can't do anything to you with us at your side"Jess said and Samah nodded sighing

" The other asked if I know who her father is" Samah said and they all chuckled

" Her father is the minister of petroleum. Breeze father comes from an old family of politics, they're called old money,ever wondered why an Egyptian woman agrees to marry a Fulani man?"Jess asked

" Because of his money,my mom married my dad for his money so imagine how rich he is"Breeze said and Samah look at them looking confused

" Are you not angry that people say your mom married your dad because of his money?"Samah asked

" No,that's the truth and she did the right thing"Breeze said sipping his drink

" Weird"Samah murmured

" My dad is a business man,he deals with cars and spare parts. Eden here her dad is a foreign ambassador in Germany and that made him very powerful and knows a lot of people,so don't let her intimidate you she can't do anything to you"Jess says

" She's right Samah,I think we should exchange contacts incase anything happens in the future"Eden said and Samah scratch the back of her head

"I don't have a phone" she said with a tiny voice

"You don't have what?!" They suddenly heard Junia's voice and they all turn to look at her,Junia sits in the remaining empty sit

"How old are you?" Junia asked

"Sixteen" Samah replied

"And you don't have a phone? What century do you live in?"Junia asked

" Calm down chica!"Jess said chuckling

"Why don't you own a phone?" Breeze asked

"Well I was never given one"Samah replied playing with her fingers

" Oh my God!"Junia exclaimed her eye going wide

"Let the girl be,she's obviously getting uncomfortable" Eden said and Samah almost shouted thank you with a relief sigh. The table went silent and they started eating the rest of their food.

Husna dusted an imaginary dirt from her skirt,she took her phone checking the time when Eve suddenly appeared before her

"Let's go and eat" Eve said and Husna nodded following Eve out of the class,she suddenly hits someone and they both fell on the floor with Husna hitting her head on the floor

"Owww!" She said and felt the person quickly shifting away from her,she rubbed her head opening her eye,she opened her mouth to talk but her words got struck in her throat when she saw the person she fell on

The boy stood up immediately brushing the dirts on his trouser

"I'm sorry" he says and walk away

"Who's that?" Husna asked Eve

"That's Ayaan,the school head boy" Eve said

"Wow!" Husna says mesmerized

" Don't even think about it"Eve said chuckling "he doesn't relate with anybody and he doesn't have a friend at all, everyone is afraid of him and keeps a very good distance away from him"

" He has a girlfriend?"Husna asked

" Non that I know of. Just forget about the sadist, there's a lot of handsome guys in SS3"Eve says

" Is he in our class?"Husna asked

" No, he's an art student"Eve said holding Husna's hand. " Let's go and also we need to fill in extra class activities we will engage in"

Samah took her bag putting in her books and pen,her first day in the school wasn't as bad as she thought. She quickly made new friends,back then in her old school no one talks to her because Husna asked them not to,she's the goddess of the school and everyone do her biddings

"So you're going back to the hostel?" Samah suddenly heard Breeze's voice

" Yes,I want to go and sleep"Samah replied same time Junia and Jess joined them

"We usually hang out at night in the field,you wanna join?" Jess asked and Samah look at Junia who gave her an approving nod

"Okay! I would love to" Samah said smiling when Eden suddenly entered their class

"Hey everyone!" She said chuckling "I was asked to share the extra class activities form,so I saved you guys for later"

" That's so nice of you"Junia said collecting the forms from her

" You're the social prefect girl?" Samah asked

"Yes,I'm sharing the post with this fool beside you"Eden said pointing to Breeze who fakes being hurt by putting his hand on his chest

"Did you all hear what she just called me?!" Breeze said and Jess patted his back

" Fool"Jess said and everyone chuckled

"We should go back to our room then,see you guys later"Junia said waving at the guys after sharing the form within them.

Samah,Junia and Eden made their way to their room,they met Jewel sleeping on her bed and they all decided to have a bath before going to their bed.

Samah wore a black trouser on a white shirt,she yawned going out of the room to throw some litters on the dustbin when she suddenly heard Husna's voice

"Thank God! I didn't have to come inside your room" Husna said and Samah gave her a confusing look,she thought she said they should act as if they don't know each other "don't just stand there like a moron, follow me" Husna said and started walking,Samah followed her,they went into the field were they were no visible beings around

"I thought you said you don't know me" Samah asked folding her hands together

" That still stands!"Husna said and breathes out heavily " I need your help"

" On what?"Samah asked giving her a quizzical look

"You want some of my snacks don't you? Then you have to make someone notice me"Husna said and Samah gave her a confusing look

"Who is that?" Samah asked

"The boy at the last" Husna said and Samah raise one of her brows at her "the head boy"

"He doesn't relate with anybody and I don't want to disgrace myself because of snacks"Samah said and Husna sighed

" Okay what can I give you to make that happen? You know I'm very beautiful and it will be disgracing going after boys,they are supposed to come after me"Husna said and Samah shook her head

" Can you buy me a phone?" Samah teased,she knows Husna won't be able to do that

"Yes,what type do you want?" Husna said desperately shocking Samah

" Where do you have that kind of money to buy me a phone?" Samah asked and Husna rolled her eyes

" You're forgetting who my mom is and I also have a share in the company,I receive payment every month endings"Husna said and Samah nodded

" So are you gamed?"Husna asked

" I will think about it" Samah says

"I need your answer tomorrow's morning" Husna said walking away. Samah sighed and slumped on the ground

She knows she was going to do it even if Husna didn't offer to buy her anything, she's curious about the boy too and she needs a reason to get closer to him and now Husna is offering that to her.
